Depends on the model of iPhone, and the actual cellular plan it has.
If its an iPhone 5 with an unlimited Data Plan you may be able to do it.
Any other model of iPhone or a plan without a data packcage will not work.

From what I understand the AE cards from the last model PM G5s will go into a MP although I would not suggest you do this as it's not as if you're going to save a stack of money over it. It's not going to support 802.11n connection formats and may not have the correct electrical requirements so may damage your MP.

My iPhone 4S accidentally fell into a very shallow bit of water. The phone was wet, but worked afterwards for a short bit. Now it's not working, so I called and got a replacement phone coming. I think I had it on the iCloud, I just changed computers and had part of my old computer backed up, where are the default iTunes info saved like the pictures and I know my contacts were backed up cuz I kept getting updated stuff that I wasn't sure about, but it was contacts where some belonged to my wife's contacts....but anyway, if the cloud backed up contacts, it should have grabbed pictures too? Like I asked before, if they were backed up to the computer, is there a default iTunes folder they are saved to? I had a crap load of pictures on there that I usually could really access if I was connected to wi-fi. I turned off my data stuff as I only have 4GB and between me and my 2 kids, we seemed to use up a lot of it. My son would play music from Pandora during work, and use up all our data til I limited him to only 3GB, my daughter and I barely used 1GB. Anyway, thanks to everybody that is answering. I thought I might have done good finding the dang sim card, but pointless I guess.

Sorry guys, I don't know a **** of a lot about cell phones, but I do know about memory cards, but not sim cards that act like memory cards or look like them anyway. What is the purpose of a sim card if I may ask a stupid question since they don't hold any data from my phone stuff. The device is locked to Verizon wireless not a Russian cell provider.
You can use Verizon here in the states. Get a Verizon Sim.
In out of the country use, pop in that Sim and it should work. However Verizon does not unlock for use in the USA.
And you must be a Verizon customer to get it unlocked to use in other countries. Apple claims it will work in other countries.

You cannot use a UK carrier sim in Chile unless you are a UK customer and have roaming set up with the UK carrier and the Chinease carriers do not offer unlocking so I doubt the iphone is unlocked

It's really not recommended. The iPhone's 5w charger does not output enough current to properly charge the battery. It -may- charge but if it did, it would charge the iPad very slowly.
This would be like trying to fill a bucket of water (iPad) with a squirt gun (5w charger)
Also under iOS 7, the charging requirements are much stricter than iOS 6. You'll likey get an error message if you try.
