Can I use my Samsung Intensity not to "talk" but to record?

I want to compare prices between my regular grocery store and the new big box discount store, but they don't like you walking around writing down prices. :^(
So, I want to walk around "talking on my phone" but actually recording product names and their prices :^) for later transcription and comparison at home.
Is this possible?

Open your device in landscape mode, from the home screen, press the left soft key Message. Press New Message.
Press the 3 button for Voice Message.
Press the OK key to start recording.
Press the left soft key to pause if needed.
After completing your recording, press the OK key to stop recording.

Unfortunately to be able to print from the tablet, the printer would require networking to be Eprint compatible or use the device Apps designed for printing. The iPhone cable connects to the iPhone via Apple's proprietary dock connector.

My biggest concern is that it will fry the circuitry. I don't know what the Amp output is on the Mac-branded wall charger, but I think that USB 2.0 usually only goes up to 0.5A.

Quick answer is: You can if it works, but it is not recommended.

You can re-enable it for special purposes, opposite of disabling it...

If your Cell carrier supports it, you should have an option in your phone for "Portable Wifi Hotspot" under Wifi and networks.

You should install an app such as Bluefire or Aldiko, or for Overdrive if it is just for library books.
I don't think the device will actually show up in Digital Editions (ADE).
For non-DRM books you don't need ADE at all.
For DRM books you need to make sure the app is registered to the same AdobeID as your copy of ADE.
You can than
get books onto ADE in the usual way,
'sideload' the .epub to the Galaxy; eg copy using a file manager such as Windows Explorer or Mac Finder
read the books on the Galaxy.

No. Return it and get your money back if still within the 30 day return window. All US iPhones are carrier locked and cannot be officially unlocked.

A TV set is not a Monitor.
A TV set is intended for displaying moving pictures, and not stable, static pictures, with bright, saturated colors in adjacent areas on the screen without "bleeding", fine lines one pixel wide without vibration, or smooth-edged diagonals in fine text edges.
The 55" width is beyond your ability to see the screen edges when sitting close. If you sit appropriately far away, the text will be too small to read.
The Mac requires that any display respond to a query including display_name and capabilities. Many TV sets have a problem "paying attention" to the computer port and responding when queried, so the screen may often remain dark at startup and after sleep, requiring your intervention to show a picture.
