Can I use Nokia AC-16 charger for my Lumia 620?

Hi guys, first post here.
I couldn't find this anywhere, however i have both a Lumia 920, and a 620.
I just find it wierd that my white 620 comes with a black AC-50 charger rated for 1.3A and my black Lumia 920 comes with a white AC-16 rated for 1.0A.
I'm lending my 620 to my gf for a while and i read on the Nokia Lumia 920 user guide that both an AC-50 and AC-16 can be used to charge it, great!
But the Lumia 620 user guide states to use an AC-50, no mention of the AC-16.
So, anyone here with experience can tell me if i can, infact use an AC-16 for my Lumia 620? It makes more sense to swap them around.
Thanks

AC-16 is compatible to the Nokia Lumia 620 so it's okay to use it as mentioned by adrianhughes.
AC-20, AC-50 and AC-50U are the other compatible USB chargers for the said phone. Cheers.

Can I use my iphone 5 charger for the ipad air?

It's really not recommended. The iPhone's 5w charger does not output enough current to properly charge the battery. It -may- charge but if it did, it would charge the iPad very slowly.
This would be like trying to fill a bucket of water (iPad) with a squirt gun (5w charger)
Also under iOS 7, the charging requirements are much stricter than iOS 6. You'll likey get an error message if you try.

Can I use my iPhone 5c charger for my iPad mini

    Hi 50mike,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!

iPhone, iPad, iPod: Using iPad Power Adapters

You can use the iPad mini charger to charge the iPhone 5C, but not recommended the other way around.
The article below explains that the iPhone charger is meant to charge only iPhones and 1st generation iPad mini.
    iPad: Charging the battery
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4060
To charge your iPad battery, try one of these:
Connect iPad to a power outlet using the included cable and USB power adapter (use the table below to determine which adapter is intended for your iPad.)
Connect to a high-power USB 2.0 port using the included cable.
Note: Some USB 2.0 ports and accessories do not provide enough power to charge iPad. When this occurs the message "Not Charging" appears in the status bar next to the battery icon.
I hope this information helps ....

  • Can I use my Android tablet charger for the PlayBook?

    Hello,
I got a PlayBook and it came with the wrong charger plug. It's for the US that I can't use here in Germany.
Can I use my Android tablet charger for the PlayBook instead?
The information on the chargers are similiar but for the output it's a bit different: (They both say 5V but than 1.8 instead of 1.5)
    PlayBook charger output: 5V = 1.8A
    Android tablet charger output: 5V = 1.5A
    Thanks for any feedback.

It'll charge slightly slower, but yes.

  • Can I use a Magsafe 60w charger for my mac air (late 2013)?

Can I use a magsafe 60w charger with my late 2013 macbook air computer. The connector is right but the computer came with a 45w charger.

  • Can i use a 85 watt charger for my macbook pro that came with an 60 watt charger?

My charger broke a few weeks ago and i ordered another one on amazon and that broke within a week so i'm going to just buy another one from the apple store. But i dont want to wait to order one because i currently cant use my laptop since it died (i dont live near an apple store), but theres a store that sells apple products. they only have 85 watt for the laptops though. so would i be able to use that without ANY issues? I would rather order from the apple store than to buy something that can cause problems, so i just want to know if my macbook will be safe if i use an 85 watt instead of the 60 watt, which is what originally came with my laptop. Thank you.

An 85 watt charger will be fine. Generally, you can use a higher-powered charger than the one that came with your MBP - but using a lower-powered charger is not recommended.

  • Can I use an 85 watt charger for my 15" mac book pro

the 15" came with a 60 watt charger - it is okay to use the more powerful charger (that came with a 17" mac book pro) on the smaller laptop?

Here is Apple's official position on use of adapters.

  • Can I use a 45 Magsafe charger for a Early 2011 i7 MBP regularly?

    Hello,
A few weeks ago the 60w charger that came with my MBP started to fail and ended up shutting the mac down unexpectedly and preventing it to boot. Therefore, I had to take it to a tech to reinstall OS with all the inconveniences this caused me. Now the computer is fine.
A friend of mine lent me a spare charger he had and told me to use it, seems pretty new and fine, but I just got home and realized it is not 60w as the default MBP but 45 Magsafe charger.
I have been reading Q&As along the forum and I found different opinions, some say yes I can some strongly oppose to it.
I am planning to use it regularly for an average of 5-6 hours of daily basic use ( internet, browsing and downloading music ) can I be safe keeping it for a few months?
Thanks for your help in advance

The general rule is that a lesser charger than was intended for the computer will charge the battery (more slowly) or run the computer, but not both at the same time. While doing heavy tasks, it will be possible that the battery will drain somewhat even while the computer is on A/C power. Shouldn't be a major problem but you should try to get a proper charger to avoid any potential issues.

  • Can u use the Mac extention charger for the iPad charger?

i have a Mac charger extention and I was wondering if it is the same charger extention u can buy for the iPad at the apple store

I can't answer that question but if want a longer cord, just use and extension cord. That's what I do. It works fine with the iPad power adapter. I plug the adapter into an extension cord and I plug the extension cord into a power strip.

  • Can I use an iPhone 5 charger for charging my iPod, 5th generation

    Hello to all!
I'm finding it inconvenient to charge up my iPod touch 5th generation: this product is shipped with only a Lightning connector-USB cable but has no power adapter. My Mac does have 4 USB ports but most of the time they are used to connect to my external hard drives. I wish to know whether I can use the chargers of my iPhone 5 or iPad mini 2 to have my iPod charged.
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for your information!
Was unsure of this and did not want to take the risk of experimenting!

  • Can i use an old car charger with a usb port to charge my iPhone 5s?

Can I use an old car charger for a not smart phone to charge my iPhone 5s through the usb port?

    Usually you can!
check if the specification of charger (USB output) is 5V (very important) and at least 500mA (more power like 1000mA --> 1A allow you to charge greater devices like iPad)
But personally is not good idea, because in short/long time can damage or reduce the life of battery of your iPhone/iPad etc.

Can i use nokia video manager for converting videos will this support n79

Only be aware that Nokia video tools only work for videos that are not longer than 35 minutes.
Also the quality is not very good, you can get better results from other encoders.
Lastly they are Really slow compared to other tools available.

Is it safe to use any of the 3rd party chargers instead of the $79 Apple model?? Some of these are 1/2 the price or less

"Some of these are 1/2 the price or less..."
How much is your computer worth: $40, $50? The counterfeit power adapters that I've seen are improperly grounded - is that OK for your computer or you personally? The real power adapters meet are necessary international safety and agency compliance standards - do the counterfeit products meet the same threshold. The real power adapters have over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection...do the counterfeit products have these features.
Is your personal safety and your computer worth more than $40 or $50?
