After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card. As the family organizer, any receipts generated by the transaction will be sent to you. Learn more about how iTunes Store purchases are billed.
Once paid for, a purchased item is added to the account of the family member who initiated the purchase. In other words, the content belongs to them, much as it would if you were buying them a book or a DVD. If Family Sharing is ever disabled, each member will keep the purchases they initiated, even though they were paid for by the family organizer.
These are the only current options for payment within Family Sharing.

Part of the validation for cards is that they are registered to the same name and address as on your iTunes account, prepaid cards tend not to be so won't be accepted.
What you owe isn't shown on the payment details screen of your account ? If iTunes gift cards are available in your country then you should be able to redeem them onto you account so that you can your debt, after which you should get the 'none' option so that you can remove the prepaid card.

I am from Bangladesh, I recently bouhgt iPad Air 2. Now I am interested to buy Apps from iTunes Store with my Credit Card, Can I? I am asking this question because yesterday I used my credit card to buy GoodReader Apps with price tag $0.99 from iTunes Store, after clicked BUY option then I put my credit card information as soon as Apps Store showing me a message that my address mismatch with the provided with the bank. As a result I haven't able BUY the App from the store, but my credit card account charged with $0.99. But I did not got the app GoodReader with price Tag $0.99.
Please give me a proper guide. And also why the iTunes Store charged my credit card account though they have not permit me to buy the app? How to claim to reverse the amount?

Each time that you try to add a card, or change its details on an account, a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - your card issuer should remove within a few days or so.

In terms of buying content, you have to be in a country to use its store, and have a billing address in that country on your account (you also cannot use a credit card issued by a bank from another country). As far as I can see there isn't currently an iTunes store in Bangladesh, until if/when Apple open one then unfortunately you won't be able to buy any iTunes content (apps, music etc)

If you mean use the balance of the credit and you don't have enough to buy iTunes media, you will have to purchase and redeem another gift card to make up the difference.

No, an iTunes gift card can only be redeemed onto one account, and it can be used to buy content for that account (you can't, for example, redeem it on an account and then use some of it for gifting content to another account).

I have just got a new Mac Book Pro and have tried to use my credit card on two separate sites and had the transactions fail. I know the card is valid and has no "stops" on it but it uses the VeriSign option where you have to enter a password on a site separate from the vendor and it would appear that it is this that is not working.
Can anyone tell me a) why this is happening and b) how to make it better please.
I need to get this sorted otherwise I'll never be able to buy anything on-line ever again!!!

Sorry if i made it sound like a complaint it wasn't meant to. The reason I felt it was something to do with the Mac was that I have never had this problem when using the card on my PC and thought it might be to do with the privacy / security settings. As I don't know enough about these things I didn't want to go messing around with any settings in case I did something I shouldn't / didn't want to.
I will try to ask my card company but heavily suspect that they will say it is to do with my computer settings and I'm back to square 1. Not to worry I'll see if there is somewhere else that might be able to help me.

Amex is running a special where you get $5 back on a $5 purchase or more at the iTunes store. I have a gift card balance on the account and wanted to use my credit card for the promotion. Anyone know how to do this?

The work around.. would be to order a gift, then redeem the gift yourself. As gifts can not be paid for by your store credit.
