Since Apple is sometimes vague when stating who really needs to use what, so my question is; Even though I don't fall into the above guide lines I do use some plugins for both Apple software, such as QuickTime and third party software such as Firefox, so do/should/could I use this application?

If not, you don't need this manager.

If no, is there any function that can be used for distributing reports submitted from concurrent manager in r12.1.2?

Another option could be to use XML/BI Publisher - again, you will need to check if your license includes distributing custom reports.

Yes this is the requirement of the specs. Your ejb code generator should give you the error if you use usertransaction.

You could find a copy of iMovie HD 06, which has some really nice third party plugin support.

I'm using logic express 9.1.6. today I bought Mainstage 2 in the appstore. there are a lot of powerfull plugins. some of them, like e.g. space designer, are not included in logic express.

Can not use Endnote "manage citations" in Pages 5.0

Is ther any way to modify the citation format in Pages 5.0? My Pages 5.0 has a function "manage citations" in edit - endnote citations, but unfortunately, it can not be changed to a format that I prefer (such as Amecian Antiquity). can someone help me out?

Probably but I can'r be sure, because it may require you to have EndNote installed.
Do a search on EndNote plugin + Pages 5 and see what you come up with.
I read somewhere that Apple has created a plug-in but it has problems, otherwise you have to purchase a full copy from EndNote and as I said that is not cheap.
If you previously had Pages '09 it should be in your Applications/iWork folder. Try that and it should still be working.

Hello!
This was already discussed. E.g. here ADS install in Solution Manager.
While it is technically possible (to connect several systems to one ADS) it is not recommended for productive environment for some reasons (security, stability, performance and easy of maintenance). I say you can use you ADS on SolMan for DEV, QAS and number of your training/demo systems, but install separate J2EE with ADS instance (better on separate server) for productive use. You can then check ADS updates/patches on SolMan first without breaking productive system and only then (if successful) update productive.

New to IPS 4240 - What else can I use to manage it?

I have just purchased a Cisco IPS 4240 and have it up and running. Have been using the IEV to view IPS information and that works ok. The VMS 2.2 that came included with the IPS will not work with the current Cisco works (LMS 2.5) installation that we have.
My question is, is there any other tool besides the IEV and the VMS 2.2 that I can use to mange/monitor my IPS? the IEV seems so limited.
I have downloaded the newer VMS from the Cisco site and am planning to test that this comming week, but wanted to know ahead of time if I needed to waste my time with this tool or not.

The latest CSMARS release is promising and honestly the netforensics solution offered by Cisco probably wouldn't be a good fit for the op, but I think Cisco needs to rething pushing the MARS in leui of everything else. As a previous customer of netforensics, and now a user of CSMARS...there are definitely many things that netforensics does better than CSMARS.
My biggest beef with CSMARS is the seemingly casual way in which it treats time and "raw messages". IMHO, these should be sacred to any SIM. I can elaborate, but for the sake of brevity I'll just give a couple examples:
The signature name reported in the "raw message" that MARS makes available is not always correct. Also, custom signature events report as "unknown" in the "raw message". Clearly this is not a "raw message" by any reasonable interpretation...MARS is writing bits that never existed in the original message.
the event contextual information is very often truncated. If you rely on this a great deal, the MARS probably isn't for you. There's also no interface for decoding it, requiring a cut-and-paste into your favorite decoder.
Believe me, I could go on. On the bright side, the MARS is showing promise...I was able to cross off my list quite a few issues after the latest upgrade.

Can I use Workgroup Manager with a 10.4 server and a 10.6 admin station?

I just upgraded my admin station from 10.5.x to 10.6.8. Now my Workgroup Manager won't work. I'm assuming it's because of the new operating system. I keep getting an error message about ememory allocation. My server is still running 10.4.11. What can I do besides getting a new server to make this situation work? I really need to control what programs that my students can access and I'm very frustrated right now. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Can't use Airport Management Utility

I can't get the Airport Management Utility to work on my new MBP. It works fine on the G4 desktop, but when I try and run it on the MBP, I get an error message.
"The Airport Management Utility requires Airport 3.4 or later. Click update to check for newer software." There are two buttons in the window, Update and OK. I've clicked update and nothing appears in Software update.
To hedge my bets I've tried installing the version that I have on the G4 desktop with the same error. I've also searched Apple's knowledge base and discussion boards to see if there are reports of similar problems, but I can't find any.
I've also updated the firmware on the Airport Express to the newest version. I don't know how to update the firmware for the airport express card in my MBP. Here's the data from that from System Profiler.
Wireless Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x168C, 0x86)
Wireless Card Locale: USA
Wireless Card Firmware Version: 0.1.27
Current Wireless Network: 301 Network
Wireless Channel: 1
Any thoughts?

In order to control and centralize its operational information management I have realized the need for the database to have internet link to help achieve the purpose. I have tried to connect my apex 11g to the internet but I have not succeeded. I am thinking of an alternative of using the Oracle Online Worskspace. Would Oracle allow me to use it? I shall also be glad if someone can still help me to configure my apex database to be accessed on the internet that can be used to manage large geographical operations.

How to use application managed entity manager in EJB?

I finish reading The EntityManager Interface in JEE tutorial.
I know I can use container manager entity manager in EJB, but I want to explore how to use application managed entity manager in EJB.
Can I use application managed entity manager in EJB (container management JTA transaction is used)? Where do I should close entity manager if can?
The following is an example from JEE tutorial, but didn't find where to calose entity manager. and can I create mutiple EntityManagerFactory objects and Entity Manager objects to use them in a JTA transaction?

Seems like a very poor example, the whole power of EJBs is to use Container Managed Transactions so you don't NEED to manage the transaction and the entity manager yourself. What you posted is code I would expect in a non-JEE application, or in a piece of code which requires fine-tuned transaction boundaries such as batched data importing logic.
If I were you I'd research JPA in steps.
a) learn about JPA as an API outside of the scope of EJBs (recommended reading: the book 'Pro JPA 2')
b) learn about Container Managed Transactions in EJBs
c) learn about Bean Managed Transactions in EJBs
Right now you're rushing into c). I can understand that it raises many question marks at this point.
