You mention Express and Extreme. I'm going to assume that you are connecting the PC to the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS).
Yes you can plug the PC into the AEBS's LAN port. The PC will be configured to use Ethernet and DHCP to get an IP address. The PC doesn't won't even know that the AEBS exists. How come I can't use the back gesture with my magic mouse on certain applications in Lion? I figured out that in Safari i have to use a 1 finger swipe to go back a page instead of 2 fingers like i used to do in Snow Leopard. But apps like iTunes and iPhoto and i can't do that. Any ideas? is there a setting im missing to make this work? It works in Safari but not any other applications, so im assuming theres no setting for this. Just want to know if this is just a bug that will be fixed in the next update or if its something I can fix now. Any help would be appreciated because its kind of annoying. Other than this minor issue I love Lion. Full screen apps are unbelievable.

I managed to compile open-vm-tools and the kernel module against 3.14.5 kernel. Here is the tarball with the all the files.

I can't use the BACK button to get back to Google after visiting some websites.

If I use certain web pages, I can't get back to my Google search after I finish. The BACK button says the page expired, and that I should ask the site to send the page again. I do not want to see that page, but just step past it to the page before it.
There should be a way to tell Firefox that I don't really want to see that page again, but just to keep going back to the page before that.
This usually happens on pages with forms.
Some other pages actually destroy my BACK button history when they start. How can I prevent this? I have often seen another page I wanted to go to next in the search, and then the page I went to first erased my BACK button list. Then, when I went to search again, I couldn't find the other page.

Firefox doens't show a web address anymore and I can't use the back button (it's not click-able)

The back and forward buttons, the refresh and stop loading buttons are not available for me to click. I can see them, but they are completely gray and I can't click on them. Also, firefox doesn't have a web address in the box anymore. It is always blank, even after I type in a website and it goes there.

The use of Back to My Mac does not require that the computers and networks involved be in the same country. It should be noted, however, that some locations may have firewalls that could adversely affect the use of Back to My Mac.

I can't use the Swiftview print utility with Firefox

I am a lawyer and some of the documents which I need to download and print use the Swiftview print utility. I can use this feature with IE but cannot find a way to do so with Firefox.

Will i have problems using the restore option ,since i can't use the back up and sync options ?

It gives me "itunes could not backup George Iphone because the iphone disconnected" so i can't neither sync nor back up ,and i've heard that restoring the phone might fix the problem ...

It is a new feature in Firefox 11+ versions to display a single image centered with an almost black background.
It is added by this stylesheet:

Safari why can I not use the back button

Hi;
Ever since I upgraded tp Mountain Lion I cannot use the back button to return to an previous website.
It seems I can only use the back button if I am going back within the current web site.
In other words:
I am in website A and go to a website B (home Page) and in website B I open another page, when I hit the back button it will go back to the home page of website B BUT then the back button is gray and no longer allows to to go back to the website A.
Yes, there are tabs that have web pages but they are shortened.

Can I use the Icon of the Safari-Browser on my Homepage?

I'm doing a Homepage and i want to show my users, which browser work for this Homepage. So I wanna show the Icon of the Safari Browser to show that this browser works. If you klick on the image you'll come to the download-page for Safari. I will put copyright informations in my Impressum in every case and, if required, I will put Copyright Information under the picture.
So can you tell me whether I'm allowed to use the Icon or not? Or, if nobody knows, can you post me a support e-mail adress from apple so that I can ask them for help?

Now consider what would happen if your Windows computer broke. Given the prevalence of viruses and such, it is a very likely possibility. Research means to back up your computer and make it a habit to keep the backups updated.

The other day, I accidentally dropped my 4th generation 32GB iPod Touch on concrete from a couple of feet. The screen has many cracks and the top-right corner is missing a few chunks of screen. The corner is completely shattered and the "organs" are visible through this gash. I backed up the iPod to my computer. I was wondering if this iPod "crashes' or stops working due to the hole, can I use the back up of the data of the iPod on another 4th generation 32GB iPod Touch to have my previous data(from the original iPod) on the new iPod?

Yes. I use the same Apple ID on four different iDevices. You can sync the contacts with iCloud or with your computer and have them on both devices. You can sync all of the apps as well. If the apps are not in iTunes on your computer - you can download them to the iPad with the same Apple ID. You can also restore the iPad from a backup of the phone to transfer your settings, app data and your contacts.
iPhone only apps will be half size on the iPad screen but will still work as long - you can enlarge the size of the apps - but they will be pixelated on the screen.

I think I had it on the iCloud, I just changed computers and had part of my old computer backed up, where are the default iTunes info saved like the pictures and I know my contacts were backed up cuz I kept getting updated stuff that I wasn't sure about, but it was contacts where some belonged to my wife's contacts....but anyway, if the cloud backed up contacts, it should have grabbed pictures too? Like I asked before, if they were backed up to the computer, is there a default iTunes folder they are saved to? I had a crap load of pictures on there that I usually could really access if I was connected to wi-fi. I turned off my data stuff as I only have 4GB and between me and my 2 kids, we seemed to use up a lot of it. My son would play music from Pandora during work, and use up all our data til I limited him to only 3GB, my daughter and I barely used 1GB. Anyway, thanks to everybody that is answering. I thought I might have done good finding the dang sim card, but pointless I guess.
Ralph - F.Y.I. I would be happy to back up the iPhone if I could turn it on LOL......I am pretty positive I did, but what about Text messages? ANY of those saved too or not? Sorry guys, I don't know a **** of a lot about cell phones, but I do know about memory cards, but not sim cards that act like memory cards or look like them anyway. What is the purpose of a sim card if I may ask a stupid question since they don't hold any data from my phone stuff.
