You will need to jailbreak and unlock any US phone to use it in México. I think that you should buy it in México, I have it with Iusacell and it's great!

thanks a lot!~If you bought a unlocked Iphone 4 from apple (in the UK) then yes. you can use the phone in other countries and use the countries sim cards if they compatible with the iphone 4.
If you bought from o2, vodafone and so on. then you will have to use those sims in the other countries.
also your warranty is only valid in the country where you bought the phone.(not 100% sure on this tho. just what i have heard)

hello there peeps, i cant use the iphone that i bought from a local buy, swap and sell site. the phone was restored to factory setting and i used it for 4 months but after that a message appeared and said that this phone has been lost. i tried to restore it again but i need the previous owner's apple id and password.
i tried to contact him but i cannot reach him already, i tried reaching him on the sell site's page but still no response. i am pretty sure that the phone is not stolen coz i was present when he restore it to its factory setting. i just wanna ask you people what else can i do with it to be activated again, i paid $200 for this iphone 4 and dont just want it to go down to the drain. The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

lol...that's priceless. i golf with 3 friends that used to be verizon users and all switched 2 years ago to get an iphone. i have an android. when they first got them, they would activate their gps golf app just because they could to show off their new toy (even though in phoenix, the courses we play HAVE gps built in to the golf carts...lol). they would input their cores into their apps that kept track of their handicap, scores, driving distance, etc (mind you, my android could do all of this as well). but then it came...we were running an hour and a half late and were meeting our wives for dinner. we play desert courses out side of the city. i called my wife to let her know we'd be late and not to show up for a while. they all 3 could not and asked to use my phone. normally i would've gladly handed it to them, but because they had been SO childish about showing off their toys i simply said "sorry...i can't. you guys all switched carriers and are now KILLIN my minutes since you are no longer in verizon's network." now i had told my wife to call their wives and pass on the message to meet us later....but i didn't tell them that because it was just WAY too much fun watching them sweat for the next 2 hours over how angry their wives were going to be that we would be at the restaurant 2 hours late.
if you REALLY want to up your brothers, you can pay for the hotspot feature ($20/month)...just for a month. the next time they can't send or recieve data, activate your hotspot feature and tell them they are welcome to use your wifi signal from your phone to make their iphone useable again....lol. and if they ever need to borrow it to make a call just let them know that you can't because they burn all of your minutes (if you have a limit) by remaining with at&t...lol. -

Depends, is it unlocked? Unless you have an unlocked phone, you are only able to use it with your Italian carrier. If it is locked, you can contact the carrier to see if they can unlock it for you (Apple can't do it, it has to be the carrier). Once it is unlocked, you can take it to Korea with you and get a SIM from the Korean mobile phone provider you want to use and you should be able to use it.

If you failed to back them up, thn you can transfer them from your iphone to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases or just redownload them.

It sounds like the function to reseize the Font in an iBook is not functioning properly.
I recommend a few things here. First close all the apps that are running in the background:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

2. Check for app updates
You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:

3. Install another app from the App Store

4. Restart the app

6. Reinstall the affected app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store.
Search for the app and then download it again.

The iPhone must be unlocked (Bought from Apple and not another network provider) , or officially been unlocked after the requisite qualifying period and fee payment as applicable.
All the UK suppliers are bound to unlock on request however they can add certain restrictions - Everyone Everywhere (New name of combined Orange and T-Mobile UK) require minimum of three months usage and a £20.00 fee, O2 you can do online . 3 will also do online, Vodafone not so sure of their terms.
When you do get the card cut and iPhone working its not all over however because you are going to have to do some manual settings to get full functionality as your iPhone will almost certainly assume the settings for T-Mobile/Orange the primary carrier.
This may mean that you can not send texts or access the Internet straight away.
You may need to click on Settings/General/Network/Cellular Data Network and change the following settings.

Many people on here have bought the iPhone at the full retail price because their upgrade wasn't up yet. In your situation, I would advise you to wait until May 8th, it's a lot closer than most people's and it's a substantial discount when you wait. You'll save $400. Or as you've pointed out, you can use your sister's or mother's upgrades right now if they don't mind, and then whoever's upgrade you take can use yours on May 8th. That would also be a very good choice, rather than purchasing the full retail iPhone. -
Anyone know when in November the iPhone 4s will come out?
Its pretty stupid I can't get the unlocked one until later with such a premium price tag. I love Apple I just hate how secretive they are. I want to know if its worth keeping the iphone 4 I just bought a week ago before they announced the 4s or return it and wait a few weeks and hopefully not more to just get the 4s.
