Can I use the left or right convenience buttons to switch my ringer to vibrate only?

Trying to figure out how to switch my ringer to vibrate (with no ringing) only easier than going into the phone menu, any ideas?

On some of the Operating System verisons, for the Pearl, you can press the # key to switch between vibrate and your normal profile.
If you have a custom profile set, it will toggle between vibrate and the custom profile.

OK since midday today firefox 3.6.24 apparently no longer executes javascript on ebay. Can't use the "add to watch list" buttons or the enlarge photo buttons. It says 'javascript at the bottom of the firefox window but nothing happens.

just as I wrote above.. ebay loads and functions. I can bid and view auctions but trying to either use the "add to watch list" or "add to wish list" buttons or to switch between different posted photos of an item just gives me javascript:; at the bottom left of my screen but clicking the button has no effect.I'm still running 10.4.11 with the last java download.. is this an ebay change to a newer java version not supported by my os or is it a firefox error..oh and one more thing each page seems to have become 4 times longer..ie there is a huge empty space as I scroll down the page before I hit the bottom.Only appears to do this on ebay..haven't found any other sites showing similar errors and everything works fine on my imac running firefox 4 under 10.5

I'm a bit confused with this paragraph, as you said Vista already install on your computer, why did you say Windows can't be installed?
According to your description with your problem, it is Product edition and key are not match. Firstly of all, we must make sure the system you installed on your computer was
Windows Vista Business, not matter 32 or 64 bit.
Note: you can check current system edtion at System Properties.
After that, you can try to input your product key and activate your system for test.
If problem still presists, it would be better to provide the activation error message.

Where are the left and right action buttons on the touchpad on the HP ENVY 17t Quad TouchSmart

My new HP ENVY 17t Quad TouchSmart laptop has a touchpad, but no left or right action buttons. How do I simulate their action. Apparently a single tap simulates a left click, but how do I get a right click? How do I drag a cell in a spreadsheet (to copy it) using the touchpad? I may have to end up using a mouse.

I believe that model features a ClickPad, which doesn't have distinct left/right-click buttons but does have left/right-click areas where the buttons would normally be. See Using and Configuring the ClickPad for more info.

Can I use the Airport Express to create a secure wireless network in a wireless-only hotel?

Can I use the Airport Express to log onto an unsecured hotel wireless network, without an ethernet cable, to create a secure wireless network for my MacbookAir, IPad, IPhone, etc.? If so, how is that done?

will the Airport Express allow you to log onto a hotel wireless network, and broadcast a secure wireless network in your room for your wireless devices, like the Ipad, Iphone, etc.?
The bottom line with a single AirPort Express is no.
The AirPort Express can only "extend" a wireless network when the network is being provided by another Apple router.
As you might imagine, it is extremely unlikely that that the hotel network....which no doubt uses professional wireless access points provided by a manufacturer of commercial systems.....would be compatible with an AirPort Express.
In many years of travel domestically and internationally, I cannot recall a time when a single AirPort Express would "extend" the signal provided by a hotel's wireless network.
However, if you had two AirPort Express devices handy, you might be able to configure one to "join" the hotel network and provide an Ethernet signal to the second AirPort Express, which would be configured to "create" your own "private" wireless network.

Err.. keyCodes for the softkeys are non-standard. In fact, all devices don't have softkeys ... one example is Motorola E6.
From the documentation for Canvas:
MIDP defines the following key codes: KEY_NUM0, KEY_NUM1, KEY_NUM2, KEY_NUM3, KEY_NUM4, KEY_NUM5, KEY_NUM6, KEY_NUM7, KEY_NUM8, KEY_NUM9, KEY_STAR, and KEY_POUND. (These key codes correspond to keys on a ITU-T standard telephone keypad.) Other keys may be present on the keyboard, and they will generally have key codes distinct from those list above. In order to guarantee portability, applications should use only the standard key codes.

Can't use the "send by e-mail" button on forms created in Acrobat Pro 9 with Firefox

I created a form in Acrobat Pro 9.5.2 with a "send by e-mail" button as usual (not using LiveCycle Designer). Since a few months, users cannot send forms using that button USING FIREFOX works fine in Explorer. I've been creating and using those forms since 2 years whitout any problems but now this is A BIG PROBLEM for our office as all our reservation forms uses this technology.
Steps to reproduce bug:
1. create a form using Acrobat Pro. add an action button " send a form". send the Entire PDF form not just FDF. go in advance tool to give all rights to end-users (in French it's "étendre les fonctions d'adobe reader" I think it’s enable the usage rights for Reader ion English.)
2.publishing the form on my website (or send by e-mail to someone who use reader)
3. filling the form
Results:
when the user fill the form he can't send it by e-mail using the button. Nothing happens when hitting that button. It is not possible to save the document as well. Nothing can be done, not even printing or saving it. I've tried almost all browsers I know and nothing works.
Expected results:
the form should be send by e-mail (as an attachment in general) like before. please help me! this is really important, our office have a lot of calls and we are just 2 people here (non-profit organization). should we buy Acrobat Pro X ?

When your customers opened the PDF form (which was as an email attachment) on iPads, it is highly likely that Apple Mail (not Adobe Reader for iOS) was displaying the preview of the PDF form. Please note that Apple products on iPad/iPhone (e.g. Apple Mail, iBooks, Safari) do not render field contents or annotations (sticky notes, highlight, underline, strikeout, freehand drawing, etc.) in PDF documents.

I just got a replacement 8330 because I dropped my previous one in a muddy puddle. I cannot remember how I originally re-programmed the left and right side buttons to run different applications than the default (camera, and voice dial). Can someone help me out?

Usually it is then you buy a complete album off iTunes that it will only be available on one device. It is tied to that account, and the device must be registered to that account to listen to it.

I would like my footer elements to attach to the left and right respectively. I know in html this can be accomplished by using "float", but I don't see any way to accomplish this in Muse.

If you are looking for the element to remain on screen in same position at all times then I think using the 'pin' option is what you are looking for. With a box (or whatever) selected you'll see an option at the top, next to your x,y co-ordinates with a little square with 6 selectable points, each point representing where the element will stick to.
Alternatively if you are just wanting the bar of the footer to stretch across the window regardless of size then if you have the left of the bar exactly on the outside left edge of your page, and same with right, it should do the stretching for you automatically.

Hmmm, no, no drivers needed, now it sounds like a bad install... unless you might have some old Mouse software installed???

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.
