Can i use two iphone on one account

is there a way that i can use my itunes for two iphones 1 is a iphone4  and a 3sg i want to update the 3sg but it wants me to setup a whole new acct. do i realy need to do this.........

You can sync as many iphone /ipods/ipads as you like to one computer/library.
Plug one in.  Select what you want to sync.  Sync.  Unplug.
Plug the other in.  Select what you want to sync.  Sync.  Unplug.

Can you ? Two phones sync on one account .

I have two iPhones and daughters basic cell on a family plan here in US (AT&T). Each iPhone requires it's own data plan (charge) to be applied to the one account (bill).
But I would say call the cell provider as they are the ones that provide service for the phone, while Apple is about the hardware. We all here are users and can tell you what we think or heard or experienced but only fact can come from the provider.

  • Using two iPhones with one Apple id

    Hello!!
I am currently an iPhone 3GS user.  I just got my new iPhone 5 and as I use two numbers, thought of switching my other number to this 3GS and thus using 2 iPhones for both the numbers.  So, can someone tell me if I can use the same Apple id for both the cell or I need to create a new one to use two iPhones.  (Please note: I use iCloud only for contacts sync and dont mind having same contacts on both the devices)
    Shall appreciate a quick response!
    Thank you.

Really appreciate this quick response.  So I guess there won't be an issue to use the same id on two iPhones at the same time.
    Thanks again!

can i use two different iphone for a single apple ID to download apps from iTunes?

You can use as many iPhones as you want, there is no limit to the number of devices that can sync to an iTunes account.

can i use 1 icloud account for two iphones?

sure, as long as you don't mind sharing information - like contacts calendars and some other stuff. There is no limit as far as I know to amount of Apple devices used with same icloud account.

  • Can i use two iphone 4's on my mac usings itunes account but also get different contacts and email accounts...help please

Hi i two iphones one mine one my wifes.
We have one mac laptop and one itunes account. is it possible to sync the two iphones on itunes but have two different contacts and email address.
But i would also like my apps to work on her mobile as i do not want to pay for them twice..

Yes. There is no device limit for the number of iPods, iPads, and iPhones that can be synced with the same iTunes library and iTunes account on the same computer. Each device can have its own sync preferences with iTunes on the same computer.
If both iPhones are synced with the same Address Book under the same computer login account, then the contacts on each iPhone will be the same. With the Address Book on a Mac, you can sync select Address Book Groups only with an iPhone instead of the entire Address Book and all groups. You and/or your wife can create an Address Book Group or multiple Groups to be synced with each other's iPhone only. You can transfer the settings for one email account to one iPhone and the settings for another email account to the other iPhone.

  • Can you use two ipads with one itune account

We have two ipads and one Itunes account.  Are we able to have separate accounts within iTunes so my husband can have his games on his account and I can have mine?

  • Can i use two devices with one itunes account?

I share a laptop with my husband.  We have had "sync" issues in the past with his contacts and my contacts intermingling on our separate iPhones.  Can I create two different iTunes accounts for us to sync independently?  What should I do about this?  With the advent of iCloud, we're both going to be autosyncing...right???

This won't be a problem, iTunes will see the new device as a separate device, it will have its own settings under iTunes, you can set it up to sync the same content or different content to the first device, it will have no effect on how the first device syncs with iTunes.

  • Can I have two iPhones on one iCloud account?

I would like to put my wifes iphone on my icloud account so in the end we will have 2 iphones and one macbook on the account is that possible?

You can but it's usually not recommended.  If you do any synced data will be merged to the same iCloud account.  For example if you both sync your contacts and calendars with the same iCloud account you will see each others contacts and calendar events on your phones.  Also, you can share an Apple ID (account) for iTunes store purchasing and still have separate iCloud accounts.  This article may be of interest: http://www.macstories.net/stories/ios-5-icloud-tips-sharing-an-apple-id-with-you r-family/.

  • How can I use two Ipods on one computer.

I was wondering if it is possible to use 2 Ipods on one computer without having to reload all of the music to the new library.

If you are adding a second iPod for your own use, just connect the new iPod to your computer and follow the on screen instructions. It will update from your existing library. Depending on the size of your library and the type of iPod you choose you can have it update all songs and playlists, selected playlists only or you can manage it manually
If the iPods belong to different users then there are actually a few methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer: How To Use Multiple iPods with One Computer
Just to summarise what's in the link above which is a little out of date:
Method one is to have individual Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you completely separate iTunes Music folders and libraries.
Method two is to set your preferences so that any or all of iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library:
Loading songs onto iPod automatically - Windows
Choosing the update option "Sync Music - Selected playlists" allows you to create a playlist specifically for each iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. You can read more about playlists at these links:
iTunes: Creating playlists of your favorite songs
How to create a Smart Playlist with iTunes
Another option when using a single library is to set any or all of the iPods to manual update: Managing content manually on iPod

  • Two iPhone users, one account for apps & media

My wife and I just bought iPhones. We are trying to share some stuff and keep other stuff separate, here's what we're looking for.
    1. We use two different Macs with different emails.
    2. We are using a single Mobile Me account to sync our address book and calendar so that no matter where we are, we know if its okay to schedule something that won't conflict.
    3. My Mac has all the iTunes media and apps that we both want to use.
Under those conditions, how do I sync both iPhones?
-Do I need to register both under my AppleID so we can both use the iTunes apps and media? (Will Home Sharing in iTunes allow her to load my apps on her computer like it can with Music)?
-When it comes to email will that be a pain to setup if I sync them both on my iMac?
    Thanks

E-mail does not sync with your computer. Iphone has it's own e-mail client, just like your computer. E-mail does not come from a computer - the e-mail client retrieves it from the server just as your computer does.
Mobileme can sync over the air so you do not need to plug in to sync contacts and calendars.
You can sync itunes content (music/vids/apps) from your computer or if the computers are both authorized for the same itunes account, then you can sync to you own machines ( you will need to put the media on both machines).
My wife and I sync our iphones to the same machine ( even though we have two). All contacts and calendars are synced over the air via mobileme, and we share all music and apps.
