Can I view multiple sheets at the same time?

My search fu hasn't been up to finding how, or if it is possible, to view multiple sheets of the same document at the same time. Can it be done? Either a split view in a single window or multiple windows would be fine.

No need to copy the sheet. You could just drag it to the sheet where you want to see it, and when done, drag it back 'home'. (This can be done using the icons in the sidebar.)
Caution: Changing to this method will require vigilance on your part to prevent accidently deleting the table instead of moving it. frequent Saves are recommended.

If I guess correctly, you are trying to print thru a printer icon installed on the Desktop.
At last on my machine, iWork applications aren't compatible with this scheme.

The only I way I can think of to modify a single value and have that value change in multipl locations is to have all "the other places" reference a single cell. There is not way without a referene to modify a set of cells simulateously.
This may be something like what you want:
Enter a value in the table "Original Data" cell A1 and the A1 cells of tables Ref1, Ref2 and Ref2-1 will change

Some were retained as events mainly those that were folders within an album. In order to move them to the right album I would like to have multiple albums open at the same time (side by side) so that I can make sure not to duplicate photos or move them to the wrong spot.
I cant see how to do this, it seems that I can need to open one album and check phots and then close to look within and other and rely on memory. There must be a more efficient and accurate way to do this?

All of the events in iPhoto were converted to albums and are located in the Folder titled iPhoto Event in the sidebar of Photos.
You can't open multiple albums at the same time. You can create a smart album that will do essentially the same thing with the following criteria:
Album is "A"
Album is "B".
The smart album will display all of the photos in those two albums.

Shift-click the photos or Ctrl-click them to select them, then right-click one of them and choose Delete from Catalog. They will all go together.

Can I export multiple folders at the same time, keeping the album structure

I'm exporting all of my photos from 2010 so far. Is there a way to export multiple folders at the same time, while keeping the existing album structure? It seems that when I try it, iPhoto exports them all to the same folder.
I really don't want to do this one album at a time, and here's why -
I'd like to select all of the albums, then export, using the plugin, to WalMart so that I can order prints.

You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.

Many internet sites such as Flickr and SmugMug have plug-ins for accessing the iPhoto Library. If the site you want to use doesn’t then some, one or any of these will also work:
To upload to a site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.

You can do a batch export by sending them to Adobe Media Encoder with the Queue button in the export settings dialog.
However, you will have to set up each export one at a time.

Can device run multiple encryptions at the same time?

I have a G5 at home and I'm considering hooking up a new Airport Extreme to enable wirelsss access from my work laptop (WIN PC). I use a Netgear 54MBPS Wireless PC card WG511 v2 which supports 128bit encryption. Should this work with the mac APE and if so can I also run other encryption modes at the same time in future if needed. I will be connecting the APE to my cable modem and using one of the LAN ports to connect to the G5.

Can I set multiple events at the same time to repeat on iCal?

I know I can do this by manually selecting each one of them and setting it to repeat.
But it's a pain and it doesn't make sense not to be able to edit more than one event at the same time.
When I want to set up my weekly schedule I do it for one week and I want to be able to select all the events in that week and set all of them to repeat weekly at once.

There are editors that bring up the songs one at a time, so you can edit them in a row. Winamp works that way. iTunes does not.

Is there a way to configure iTunes so that I can make changes in multiple sections, and only sync or apply them when I've made all of them?
For example: I want to changes setting in Music, Apps, and Books. Today, it seems like I have to go to change settings,hit apply, and wait for the iTunes to sync for each one. What I want to do it make changes in all of them, then hit apply/sync and wait for the iTunes to sync all my changes in one swoop.

For the media, one can;
untick songs in the Library in order for them to be removed at the next Sync (and obviously the reverse to put them back on),
the same procedure for books,
create and modify Playlists,
remove or add photos to the chosen Photos folder (in Windows of course, not in iTunes) which then get removed or added at the next Sync,
and then connect the iPod. One can prevent an iPod from Syncing at initial connection time, so that further changes to things such as which Apps to Sync (which does need to iPod to be connected), choices of Selected Playlists only, etc. (ditto) can be made by choosing the appropriate pane. As yet, whenever I've done this, I have never had to Sync one change before switching to a different pane. The first change causes the Apply and Revert buttons to appear. I ignore them and continue to make further changes on the other panes. Then I select Apply. The Apply/Revert buttons are removed and replaced by a Sync button. So, although there is the Apply, then Sync to be done, it can hardly be described as a burden.
Are you saying Chris, that you have to apply one change at a time, followed by a sync before making any other change?

Can't access multiple webpages at the same time

here's an example of what i want to do... go to a news website and open three stories in three new webpages before i go into airplane mode... reading those three distinct stories on the plane (offline).
it seems once you navigate away from a page it loses the connection to that page... then why have the ability to open multiple pages on the iphone if its not going to actually access them simultaneously...

say i have jivetalk open in one window... then i can open a second page to check a live sports score... when i go back to safari window 1 with jive talk its reloading like its the first time i'm going to that page... in effect losing my logged in status/convo's and reloading like it was my first time there...
am i missing something or is there a workaround for this

i tested this on a US At&t phone also and its the same issue... so the hack is not the problem... nor does it seem like the kind of problem to be caused by a crack... this is not a bug... its how its designed... but it sounds like in your post that its solved in 1.1.4... the "no longer needing a refresh" is exactly the problem im talking about...

How can I view 2 tabs at the same time?

I would like to view 2 pages simultaneously. I have dual monitors and I cannot open a second window or start a second Firefox. The function under File/New window does not open a new window. Trying to start Fire fox a second time does not work.
Unchceking "Open new window in a new tab under Tools/Options/Tabs " did not help.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
