Yes, Creative cloud allows you to work on both windows and MAC machines and also allows you to sync your files on the cloud so that you can work from wherever you want.

My circa 2007 iMac freezes up, and rainbow wheel appears when this happens. I know the computer is starting to get old but I can't afford a new one at this time and would love to continue using my Mac, but it's frustrating. Most of the time I ONLY have 1 thing open at a time, and keep my tabs down to a minimum. I bought this to do film editing on but with it acting like this I cannot do that. I know I need a ram upgrade (currently running 2 gb) and my OS is old, 10.5.8, but I think even with it being a bit outdated it should run better than this. Would a fresh install or OS upgrade resolve this? Or any other suggestions to keep this clunker chugging along for a little while longer?
How full is the hard drive?
Do you run any virus software or hard drive "cleaner" software like MacKeeper?
If your model is from 2007 you can install up to 6 GBs of RAM.
2 GBs is the barest of minimum RAM for OS X to run on.
Especially if doing video work. You simply do not have sufficient RAM.
Also OS X 10.5.8 Leopard support ended around 2009.
You could update to OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, at least.
It is available on disc from the Apple store for U.S. $19.99.
I Would seriously upgrade your iMac's RAM to the max. 6 GBs before doing this.
Reliable Mac RAM can be purchase from online Mac RAM source Crucial memory or OWC ( also known as macsales). -
I have an icloud account and can access my numbers documents on my mac at home and iphone by clicking on the numbers icon and these saved documents appear
I now have a macbook air on which I have icloud but when I click the numbers icon I can't find my saved documents

Yes the WiFi card can wear out but not what you would really call wearing out like a pair of pants do. It can start to fail causing the connection between your computer and your Wifi router to slow down, IE transmit and receive less data in a given time period. And then it will fail completely.
But as to your internet connection being affected by a failing WiFi card no that can't happen.
If you turn the WiFi off and connect the computer to your router with an Ethernet cable does your internet browsing and downloading speed increase? If it does then there may be something wrong with the WiFi card in your computer or the WiFi section of your router. Hard to say which.
If after connecting the computer to your router with an Ethernet cable and your speeds do not increase then it is a problem with the router or on your ISPs end. -

Work with and store the documents on DropBox or something similar. It's free for DropBox. All you need after that is access to the internet and regardless of where you are and what you're using you have access to your documents.

Can someone connect in FaceTime if they are using a friends Macbook Pro, yet, doens't have an Apple ID?? For example, I have an IPAD and a Macbook Pro. Can I connect to FaceTime on my Macbook Pro and connect with a friend using my IPAD????
I have also tried changing the contact emails(you can contact me by) in Facetime(diff email for IPAD and Macbook Pro). Facetime tried the call, I see the accept buttom appear and it goes away as the call never connects? Any ideas??

I had a free trial of Adobe CC on my mac at home, which I since uninstalled
. Later, I purchased on the PC I use at work with a Different email address than home. I have not been able to install at home. When I log in the email address is preprinted and I cannot change it to the other one that I used when I made the purchase. Also the time for the email that was sent when I joined has expired. I tried changing the email and password at home and have only been able to get access to another free trial.If you are facing issue with changing the email address your Home mac computer, then you may try below steps once.
Click Gear icon on the top Right corner and Quit Creative Cloud App
Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad
It will open Go to folder window, type exactly ~/Library and click on Go
Then open Application Support > Adobe > OOBE folders
Delete opm.db file.
Then relaunch Creative Cloud App and check if you are sign in page. -
I was installing Mac X Lion on my iMac when the power went off. A error message says install failed, Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer, The installer encountered an eror that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Click Restart to restart your computer and try installing again. When I restart it keeps going to install Lion and getting the same error message. I tried starting with holding the option key down and selecting Mac Hard disk, but again it keeps going to the installer and the error comes again.
How can I download a copy on my MacBook Pro and put it on my iMac?If so, the first thing I would do is to back up your data on the ill mac. I assume both macs have firewire port, get a cable and connect both macs via this cable. Then restart your ill mac by pressing T key after chime, it will become a simple external disk you should see on the desktop of your healthy mac. Back up your data.
Now, with this action accomplished, you may go on. BArney - 15E is optimistic and says how to restart in recovery mode—this may be possible if installation was complete for recovery partition (I doubt this, but I may be wrong).
Otherwise, I would reinstall from the scratch. If after connecting your ill mac via FW, you may see the disk in good order, you should also see the Lion installer within Applications folder. Copy it unto an external disk or flash disk and keep it safe, you will need it again. -

I use vc2003 to open the SDK provided project, and click F5, then selected the Indesign as the programm to load this plug-in. However Indesign did not load the plugin and further more, non of the break-points I setted in the programm worked. It was very strange!

I had solved the problem.
If you just put the plugin in the app's plugin folder, the VC2003 would be unable to work with your indesign.
In order to debug my plugin with VC2003 and indesign, I edit the file in %Documents and Settings%\%user%\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version 4.0 which named PlugInConfig, copy the PlugInConfig.out and renamed it as PlugInConfig.txt and Dlelte the content then add the following lines:
=Path
"your custome plugin folder".

PHones can only be unlocked from the carrier; if you're looking for an unlocked device I'd recommand buying it directly from Apple as that is the only way to promise it is, if you buy it second hand you may find it is locked to a carrier who doesn't support unlocking, or worst yet activation lock

Can you have more than one apple id on a computer. We are going away and want to facetime from our macpro to the mac computer at home but both are registered under the same apple ID. What should we do ?
I will share with you what I have done to manage this with my family. While the solution isn't without flawes, it seems to do the trick. First, you need to have one person who is managing the synching of everyone's devices. In my family, I have three iphones, about to be four, and five ipads. We all synch to the same apple ID to allow one another to take seemless advantage of our Itunes, which is on our Imac. To synch individual music or video interests, we simply select which playlists we want and manually synch that way. A couple of us use imatch and the cloud to make the entire library accessable as well. With respect to the imessage, mail, contacts, etc. we each have a gmail account for our individual emails, contacts etc. So for instance, my forth grade daughter has a gmail account that we choose to synch her contacts, calendar, etc to and then that is also the account where she receives her imessages from on her ipad and itouch. My son, who has an iphone and ipad, does the same thing, but under settings, he goes to imessage and checks his phone number and his email as his preferred way to receive imessages and texts. My wife and I do the same thing. To avoid having everyone see one anothers contracts etc, we only synch contacts from our individual email accounts. Here is the downfall to this: When you update your phone or add a new device, apple always wants to reset everyone's facetime and imessage settings and then low and behold we are all receiving imessages from one another's friends etc. To work around this, I simply take each of their devices and go to their imessage settings and only check the email and phone numbers relative to their devices. I dont' know is this is the best solution, but it seems to work for us.
