Can I write my applet on cell phone SIM card
Hi,
Currently I am developing an application based on cell phone. It need load my own applets on the cell phone SIM card, especially the SIM cards already are loaded applications by cell phone vendors. Can i load my applets into SIM card, and meanwhile don't impact cell phone vendor's applets ?
what if i have blank SIM cards and don't need to have the phone related to a network provider at all, but want to load the applet anyways, is there a way?
if so do you know how?
would you want to develop it for me (for a fee i suppose)?

How can I write into a table cell (row, column are given) in a database using LabVIEW Database Toolkit? I am using Ms Access. Suppose I have three columns in a table, I write 1st row of 1st column, then 1st row of 3rd column. The problem I am having is after writing the 1st row 1st column, the reference goes to second row and if I write into 3rd column, it goes to 2nd row 3rd column. Any suggestion?

Go to Solution.When you do a SQL INSERT command, you create a new row. If you want to change an existing row, you have to use the UPDATE command (i.e. UPDATE tablename SET column = value WHERE some_column=some_value). The some_column could be the unique ID of each row, a date/time, etc.
I have no idea what function to use in the toolkit to execute a SQL command since I don't use the toolkit. I also don't understand why you just don't do a single INSERT. It would be much faster. -

Using spreadsheets since more than twenty years, I know that storing something in an auxiliary object floating upon a cell isn't a serious workaround to the asked question. We may be sure that more or less soon, the object will no longer be were it was supposed to be.
At this time, if we want to put a vertical text in a cell it's safer to insert a character, a linefeed, a character, a linefeed … which, one more time is echoing the stammering question.

Unlocked for what purpose? To use on another network? Sorry, but no. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will have the 700 MHz frequency already unlocked from the factory, but it won't do you any good as Verizon Wireless is the only carrier I know using that frequency band. The rest of the phone can't be unlocked for use on other networks.

The Verizon iPhone 4 is a CDMA only phone. It is not physically possible to use it on a GSM network. It doesn't have the right parts. Also, we can't discuss jailbreaking here.

You can tell if the phone is unlocked if you put a new sim card in the phone and it works - if you put a new sim card in the phone and it comes up with 'sim card invalid', then the phone is locked and you'll need to get it unlocked. -
Can I switch back and forth the same sim card between an old iPhone 4 and a new one never used in order to activate the latter? Should I use same Apple Account? Should I activate it via WiFi or iTunes? I am filtering on the MAC no and I cannot read that number from the new iPhone without having it activated??!!
All I want do is to have the new phone activated and then tested!

BT Synergy 5500 Cordless phone SIM card backup
When I bought the above phone earlier this year, I eventually got around to finding an old mobile phone SIM card and inserted it into the base unit of my Synergy 5500 and copied the phonebook contacts to it.
All has been fine but on several occasions I have altered entries in the phone's phonebook and copied them over again to the SIM card. Now I realise that there are only so many times I can do this as it says it's full now.
My question is how can I delete the SIM's contents so that I can start over again?

Having said that, you can go online to virtually any mobile provider and have payg sim cards sent free by post. I keep a couple myself for exactly the same reason.

If the carrier cannot help you, then I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store to have the hardware checked. I really do not believe it is the hardware.
You could try a restore before going to the Apple Store. Make sure you have a backup of the phone and restore the device as new. After activation is complete, see if you can make a call. If it is possible, then restore your backup to recover your content and test again. If it fails, then it is a problem with your backup. If neither works, and the carrier cannot help, then make the appointment. -

Sorry, you can't. If your phone is carrier locked, you will need a sim card from that carrier, to activate it.

If you are referring to unlocking the phone from the carrier so it can be used with other carriers, you need to make contact with the carrier it is locked to and ask if they offer unlocking services and if you qualify for the unlock. They will provide you with instructions on what to do after that. -
