Can I write titles of comments on the picture image using iPhoto?

I will like to be able to write titles or labels in the pictures stored on iPhoto files without the need to go to another photo software.
Is it a way to write descriptive titles on the image using iPhoto?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You will need a 3rd party editor like GraphicConverter or Photoshop Elements 3. Also Gimp is an open source version of Photoshop that would do it. You can find the first two at VersionTracker.com and the other thru a Google search. No matter what editor you use you set up iPhoto (in its preferences) to use that application as the editor of choice when you double click on a thumbnail. You never want to open a file directly thru the editor.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

I am making a book in iPhoto using a double page spread and blank layout. I can't find a way to minimize the picture. it is too big in all the themes. I seems like there must be a way to shrink it not just zoom to make it fit?

Command (right) - click on the photo and select Fit to Frame in the contextual menu:
Not all frames in a theme offer that feature but most do. The spread layout doesn't.

What I'm looking to do is to have self powered in ceiling speakers in every room in my house with out having to run wires to every room to carry the audio signal. I would like to use the airport express to do the job of carting the audio signal.
Here's my set up now I have an airport extreme and one airport express that I use to carry audio to one room.

FWIW. I have used up to four AirPort Express Base Stations (AX) for streaming sucessfully in pretty much the way you have described. I didn't have a need to try more so I can't attest that more would or would not work.

This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes. I have reinstalled several times but it hasn't changed this error message. Why am I able to burn a CD using Media Player but not iTunes? I am using Windows XP and I have burned cds from iTunes in the past.

Hello userlarry, do you have Mobile Me? You could use that. Or you could compress them, you would still need to send them in an email, but it would help with size limitations of emails.
To compress them, put them in a folder and right click on the folder. You should see a Compress option. Then just drag the .zip file into your mail.

It will work in Canada, but if you purchase a WiFi+Cellular model I'm not sure that the warranty would be honored in Canada. If you live it Canada, it would be better to purchase your iPad there.

After importing images from my card using LR 5.4, the GPS data does not show in the metadata panel. However, when I look at the imported images using Bridge, the GPS data is visible. Anybody know why LR is not seeing the GPS data? Camera is Canon 6D.

Ok, the issue seem to be solved. The problem was this:
The many hundred files (raw and xmp per image) have been downloaded by ftp in no specific order. Means - a couple of files in the download queue - both raw and xmps. Most of the time, the small xmp files have been finished loading first and hence the "last change date" of these xmp files was OLDER than the "last change date" of the raw file - Lightroom then seem to ignore the existence of the xmp file and does not read it during import.(a minute is enough to run into the problem)
By simply using the ftp client in a way that all large raw files get downloaded first followed by the xmp files, we achieved that all "last changed dates" of the xmp files are NEWER than the related raw files. (at least not older)
And then LR is reading them and all metadata information has been set / read correctly.
So this is solved.

Just to make sure, try a different set of cables. If the problem persists, have the unit replaced by Apple.

RichTextBoxes with no borders (if you only need two columns of text)" but the real issue would be saving the info in the RichTextBox's (RTB's) RTF or Text to two different RTF or TextFiles. Although I suppose if it was just going to
a TextFile then you could somehow use a delimited text file so each same line number of each RTB is appended to the same line and delimited. That way you could probably load a split array with each line from the text file splitting on the delimeter per line
and providing RTB1 with index 0 of the split array and RTB2 with index 1 of the split array. I'm not going to try that.
This is some leftover code from a long time ago. It has three RTB's. RTB1 is there I suppose because the thread asking for this code wanted it. RTB2 is borderless as well as RTB3. The Aqua control in the top image below is the Panel used to cover RTB2's
scrollbar. So RTB3's scrollbar is used to scroll both controls.
I forgot to test if I typed past the scroll position in RTB2 if both would scroll as maybe RTB3 would not since it would not have anything to scroll to I suppose.
Maybe this code can help or maybe not. The bottom two images are the app running and displaying nothing scrolled in RTB2 and RTB3 then the scroll used in the bottom image.
Disregard the commented out code in the code below. It was there so I left it there. I suppose you should delete it. Also I didn't set the RTB's so one was left aligned and the other right aligned. I believe the Panel becomes a control in RTB2's controls
when it is moved to cover RTB2's vertical scrollbar but don't remember although that seems the case since both RTB2 and RTB3 are brought to front so if the Panel was not one of RTB2's controls I would think it would be behind RTB2 and RTB2's vertical scrollbar
would display but don't remember now. In fact I don't really remember how that part works. :)
