Can iCloud photo stream to two iCloud ID's from a Windows PC

My wife and I both have iPhones and she has an iPad2. We both want to set up photo streaming on our main windows PC. However I cannot see a way to enable iCloud streaming for both of us in the configuration of iCloud on the PC. It looks like the iCloud app on the PC will only stream from one apple id user at a time. Am I missing something or is this the way it is supposed to work?

i have the same type of issue.  I have an iphone and my wife an ipod touch.  we use seperate accounts however we would both like to stream to the same pc.
The only way i've found to do it so far is to log out of your cloud in the control panel and log in to hers.  This will disable your photo streaming until you log back out of hers and into yours.  you have to remember to check the photo streaming box.
I wish someone would tell us how to leave 2 clouds open at the same time.  that would save a lt of time logging in and out.
Hope this helps somewhat.  it's not convenient but at least you'll be able to get your pictures onto your pc.  you will not however be able to stream from one device to the next.  you will have to transfer the photos into the upload file to get them from say your iphone onto her ipad

How Do I Use One PC (Windows) To Run iCloud Photo Stream for Two Users? I and my wife have two Iphones (iOS 6.1.4) and we want to have use 2 iCloud accounts for one PC.

Disregard the question. The solution has nothing to do with any "Firefox bug". Turns out that my session wasn't being managed properly. Or rather, I was accidentally deleting other users' information when new users logged in. So if I had user 1 and user 2, and user 2 logged in after user 1, some of user 1's information would be deleted, resulting in the errors.
Oops; sorry about the false alarm. :)
(Was hoping to retract the question, but it looks like others have a similar problem.)

  • Will deleting pictures from my photo stream on my phone remove them from my iCloud albums?

I am almost out of storage on my phone so I uploaded all of my photos to icloud and deleted them from my camera roll. They are all still in my photo stream though; is that taking up room on my phone? And if I delete them from my photo stream, does that remove them from my iCloud albums as well?

    Hi kellyntherese,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  Did you backup your iPhone to iCloud and or iTunes before deleting the pictures from your camera roll?  Photo Stream is not a storage location.  Do you have a Mac or a PC?

Does using My Photo Stream substitute for using iCloud Backup or iTunes to back up the photos in my Camera Roll ?
No. Photos in My Photo Stream are saved on the iCloud server for 30 days. To save or back up these photos, you must copy them from My Photo Stream to your Camera Roll on your iOS device. You can then back up your Camera Roll using iCloud or iTunes.

You might already have a copy of the photos in My Photo Stream:
In OS X, My Photo Stream photos are automatically imported to your iPhoto or Aperture library, unless My Photo Stream and Automatic Import are turned off in iPhoto or Aperture preferences.
In iPhoto, check your settings by going to iPhoto > Preferences > iCloud.
In Aperture, check your settings by going to Apterture > Preferences > iCloud.
In Windows, My Photo Stream photos are automatically imported when My Photo Stream is turned on in the iCloud Control Panel.

  • I copied the photos from my photo stream folder to a new folder on my macbook pro. I then deleted the phots in my photo stream folder. It erased them from the other folder as well. Why? Where did they go? Can I get them back? Please help. Thanks.

Hello, I wanted to clear out my photo stream folder on my macbook pro, so I copied all the photos to a permanent folder. I then deleted all the photos in my photo stream folder. The photos in my backup folder were automatically deleted and I want them retrieved. They are not in my trash and I can't find them. Are photos autmatically backed up in my phots? How can I retrieve the deleted photos? Please help. Thanks.

You can't currently delete individual photos but you can reset
Step 1: Login to your iCloud account on iCloud.com from a Mac or PC.
Step 2: Click on your name at the top right of the main iCloud page.
Step 3: Click on the Advanced option.
Step 4: Click “Reset Photo Stream.” You will then need to confirm.
Step 5: This Photo Stream reset will not go into effect until you toggle Photo Stream on and off on your devices. In iOS, Photo Stream can be turned off and on in the iCloud settings window of the Settings app.

  • Can shared photo stream activity be deleted?

I accidentally shared photos in the wrong photo stream and quickly removed them right after. My question is after having removed them, will the people in that photo stream still be able to see those pictures in their photo stream activity feed?

The quote I supplied has a link to the detailed Support page for Shared Photo Streams, which provides information about deleting photos you have posted to a Shared Photo Stream that you do not own:
Delete photos or videos from a shared stream
When you delete a photo or video from a shared photo stream, it’s removed from the shared stream on all your devices and all subscribers’ devices. The owner of a shared stream can delete photos and videos that anyone adds. Subscribers to a shared stream can delete the photos and videos they add.
    On an iOS 7 device
In the Photos app, tap Shared at the bottom of the screen, then tap Streams at the top of the screen.
Tap the shared stream you want to delete photos or videos from. You can’t delete from the Activity stream.
Tap Select, tap one or more photos, then tap .
Tap Delete x Photos or Delete Photo.
    On an iOS 6 device
In the Photos app, tap Photo Stream.
Tap the shared stream you want to delete photos from.
Tap Select, tap Edit, tap one or more photos, then tap Delete.
Tap Delete Selected Photos or Delete Photo.
On a Mac using iPhoto or Aperture
For instructions, see one of these iPhoto Help or Aperture Help topics:Add, remove, and edit items in a shared photo stream with iPhotoAdd, remove, and edit items in a shared photo stream with Aperture
    On Apple TV
    Go to iCloud Photos.
Select an album, press the center button on your remote, then select a photo or video you want to delete.
Hold down the center button on your remote until a dialog appears, then select Delete Photo. If you simply press the center button instead of holding it down, a full-screen image appears instead of the dialog where you can remove the image.
    On a Windows computer
Select iCloud Photos under Favorites in a folder window of File Explorer (Windows 8) or Windows Explorer
There is a lot of information in the links. Take some time to have a look at them.
    Cheers,

how do u use photo stream with lion 10.7.5

What is your iPhoto version? You will need  iPhoto 9.2 (or later) to use the regular Photo Stream; for the more advanced Shared Photo Streams you need to upgrade to Mt. Lion.

How do I turn on Photo Stream?
Once your devices are up to date and you have set up your iCloud account, it’s easy turn on Photo Stream on any of your devices. Here’s how:
On your iOS devices, go to Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and turn on My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams.
On your Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud and select the checkbox for Photo Stream. Click the Options button to verify that both My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are enabled. Then, open iPhoto or Aperture to confirm that My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are turned on in the application you want to use with Photo Stream. You can also adjust your Photo Stream settings in iPhoto or Aperture Preferences.

  • Can I stream to two totally different sources from a single instance of FMLE?

I am a DJ and stream live video to a site called Mixtube.dj, and recently I have joined another site called mxiify.com that also allows for video streaming, when I do my shows I usually simocast them on a few different sites. WIth audio only it isn't a big deal, I use a program called simplecast that allows for multiple streams at once, and until recently I only had the one site where I needed video, but now that I have two places that allow video, I was hoping I could take advantage of the video features on both sites. From what I have read it seems possible, however I cannot find instructions on how to do it exactly how to do this. I've seen hints where it seems like I need to add a % inbetween the URLs and streams, but I still haven't found concrete instructions. Has anyone done this, or remember where they saw the instructions for setting it up?

  • Photos not showing up in photo stream after being imported to iPhoto from a DSLR camera?

I have a DSLR camera and for the longest time, I would import photos from a shoot to iPhoto and after about 20 minutes they would have all shown up in my photo stream on my Mac and my iPhone. But recently, the photos will not show up on either photo stream and trying to share a new photo stream with myself never works. Help?

  • Why did my Photo Stream stop syncing properly [yet again] from my iPhone to my PC?

I (and apparently many other users) are losing the proper connection of our Photo Stream between our iPhone and our PC. I have an iPhone 5s (using iOS 8.1.3), with which I have successfully synced Photo Stream to my PC (using Windows 7) many times. Photo Stream seems to work fine within the iPhone, but every few months or so, the Photo Stream folder on my PC stops populating the photos from my Apple device's Photo Stream. So, every few months, I end up searching the Apple Support Community for clear instructions, then end up calling Apple tech support. And in no particular order, I end up going through the typical steps of signing out and signing back into iCloud, rebooting respective devices(first device "A", then device "B", then vice versa), uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of iCloud, etc., etc.  Eventually, after following multiple, separate instructions taking a few hours over the course of a couple of days, the issue is corrected for a few months. Is there a resource that exists that documents one [dare I say 'foolproof'] sequence of steps that will correct this reoccurring problem in a more deliberate way? Many thanks for the assistance!

  • I have all of my photos on a seagate external hard drive from a windows based computer. Can I plug external hd into my iMac and download photos with no issues?

Can I just plug in my external harddrive to download the saved pictures from my windows computer to my Imac?

That should work.  A box like icon will appear on the desktop.  Double click  on icon.
If for some reason a message asks you to format, do not format. Pull out the cable on the external hardrive.  Ask for more advice here.
