Can icons be moved manually (rather than connected to the grid) on the Magic Canvas / TouchSmart?
I want to be able to arrange the icons myself on the MC.
Unfortunately, I don't think this is possible. These are the only settings available for the Magic Canvas related to desktop icons:
Strangely enough, none of my desktop icons show up when this is enabled though

No. iTunes and over the air updates work by detecting your hardware, and then only offer the latest available version of iOS compatible with that hardware. Older releases will simply not be available for hardware.

Outlook is a mail program, and Gmail is a mail service. You can't use an iCloud mail with Gmail because Gmail can only be used with Google mail. If you don't want to use Outlook, you can set up your iCloud mail using this information > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864?viewlocale=en_US

I put together and sent 10 pictures from my granddaughter's birthday party. Is there a way of sending them with a link recipients can click on, rather than having all the pictures download as part of the email message?
Hello userlarry, do you have Mobile Me? You could use that. Or you could compress them, you would still need to send them in an email, but it would help with size limitations of emails.
To compress them, put them in a folder and right click on the folder. You should see a Compress option. Then just drag the .zip file into your mail.

I want to play a single song in iTunes on my ipad and have the track stop when the song finishes, rather than itunes playing the next track. I play guitar with the track and need iTunes to stop at the end of the song.
I have worked around this issue by creating a separate play list for each song, then inserting the song into the play list. I would like to find a more straight forward solution that would eliminate this extra step. On my PC, I use QuickTime to bring up an individual song and then can play one track at a time.
Thanks!On the IPod if the shuffle icon is colored blue it is ON, if it is colored white it is OFF. This control is global, if it is ON any album or list will be shuffled.

How do I get the numbers ipad app to plot a graph of dates against values, where the most recent date is on the right of the graph, but the most recent date is at the top rather than bottom of the rows in the table?
Also how can it be a line graph without plotting a circle at each value?
Thanks this is very frustratingMake a copy of the table and produce your Line chart or Bar chart from the copy. Sort the copy into the order you want to see in your chart.
Alternately you could use a Scatter Chart...

I created a website with iWeb but use GoDady for hosting it rather than MobileMe. The images on my Gallery page do not show at all on the external domain but they DO show when seen on MobileMe. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Many thanks!Just create a new page (or use the existing photo page) on your external site and use html to add an iframe sized to the page and link it to the mobilme gallery page. Works for me just fine when showing my gallery from a yahoo site.

Can a 4th generation iPod Touch be connected to the Pantec Impact via Bluetooth? They see each other but when they are told to pair or connect it fails. Both have been tried with headsets and both connect fine. Both have the most recent software updates available.
You mean the PAN profile, which is supported by the iPod touch according to the chart?
But looking into more detail on bluetooth and of what profiles my phone supports it looks like iPod uses PAN, while my phone uses DUN for tethering.

Hi, I`d like to connect my Ipad wirelessly to a stereo to listen to my music from the iTunes library on streaming, but also to movies online, games, Goear…) and so on. I guess I can do that using an Airport express connected to the stereo and via airplay to my Ipad. On the iPad you can stream videos, photos, or music from the Video, Photos, Music, and YouTube apps to an Apple TV OR just stream music to an AirPort Express Base Station. -
My ipad has a password that I can't remember and it's not connected to the internet, so my computer won't recognize it and I know that when all get this figured out that it will be set back to factory state but how do I get it there

Yes, you can , it will be counted as second activation if you have not deactivated the previous install & activation.
I have checked & found that you have deactivated from one machine & it is active on one computer, this entitles you an install.
