You're question is a bit unclear. Did you try to download an iPad app to your iPhone and you can't find it? Or are you asking it you can download an iPad app to your iPhone? For the former, use Spotlight to search for the app. If the latter, it depends. If it's an iPad only app, no, it won't download to the phone. However, some apps are "universal", meaning they will work on both the iPad and the iPhone. They are designated by a little plus over the price badge.
In the App Store, the description of the app will include what devices it will work on.

Are you syncing with iTunes?
If so, then you must mark the Apps that you have deleted in iTunes to not reload. If this isn't done they will return after a sync.

Of course. Just plug the iPad to your MacBook, open iTunes and go to the File menu (on the menu bar) > Devices > Transfer purchases, so your applications will be transferred to the Mac. Note that you can't use the iPad applications on your Mac

Yes it can, assuming your data plan allows tethering to your iPhone.
With the iPhone 3GS, you can only tether via Bluetooth with an iPad running iOS 4.3. Browsing speed is ok for email and websites. Finally, I have 3G for my WIFI iPad!
With iPhone 4, you can tether I guess either via Bluetooth or WIFI. You probably want WIFI cause it supports up to 3 WIFI devices.

Problem transferring the info from my IPad apps to my IPhone

I recently bought an IPhone and I want to have all the information I've stored in my IPad apps transferred to my IPhone. I synced the two devices through my computer and the apps I initially downloaded on my IPad are all now on my IPhone, but they don't have any of the information that I had created on the IPad. How can I get the information transferred over as well?

Thanks for the response. By information, I mean that I have used the apps on my IPad for awhile now and have information stored on them. For example, my Errands app has various to-do items I've inputted and different task folders I created. When I downloaded all my apps to my Iphone, the apps show up like they are new - none of the information that I had previously inputted on my IPad is on them.
I tried the steps on the link you suggested and I think one problem is that when I set up my phone at the Apple Store, I set it up as a new IPhone and didn't use the restore option. Now that it's done, I can't seem to find where I could go back to that screen and change the option. Do I need to reset all settings or erase all content and settings first? Or is there another way? 2. The email you received DOES NOT say your Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPad. The email informs you that your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad. Fortunately the iPad is yours. The message confirms that. If your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad that was not yours your would then know to change your password. Since the iPad is yours you do not need to change your password.

If it's an app made only for iPad, you can't. Some developers make apps which will work on both devices (the + sign in the download button indicates). Some apps are made specifically for one device, and there may be separate versions for each device (so you have to pay twice!). You can install an iPhone-only app on an iPad (but it usually doesnt look great), but you cannot put a phone-only app on an iPad.

I have an issue for months. Every time I purchase an app game for my iphone and ipad I start playing with one but when I switch to the other, I have to re-do all progress again to be in the same point.
I would like to be playing in my iphone and later take my ipad for the same app game and be in the same point where I left playing with my iphone. This is very frustrating and no logical to buy both versions (when available separately) to play a game in the "mac" world.

The camera does not exist on the original iPad so don't think you can find it. The iTunes icon may be on anther screen. Swipe from screen to screen and look for it.
If you have restrictions enabled on your iPad - Settings>General>Restrictions>On - see if you have iTunes restricted. If it is restricted, the icon disappears. Turn off restrictions.
