Can iPad English version view Traditional Chinese character?

We all know that the support for Traditional Chinese is excluded in iPad, make no difference to me since I don't use Chinese, both Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese character. But I still would like to know, Can iPad English version view well when I browsing some Traditional Chinese web sites?
(I couldn't find an iPad forum, so I came to here, I hope you don't mind)
Thanks in advance.

Can iPad English version view well when I browsing some Traditional Chinese web sites?
There is just no way to know until somebody has one in their hands and tries it, which will probably not be until the end of March.
Generally there is no "English" version of Apple products, their capabilities are the same no matter where they are sold.

PS. By the way, I am NOT a Chinese, we just had no choice to use China's language, Chinese(government, people and language) is no good, they are just like Burma, North Korea, Chinese government control people's lives and death.
PS2. I'm from Formosa (Taiwan), Taiwan has been an independent country since 1949. but sadly, CNP(aka KMT) they love to kiss China's ***, and they killed many innocent Taiwanese from 1949~1999 too. Just a brief to let you know where I came from. because I think it's important, I considered ourselves as a big Apple family.

Yes. The iPad has no problem displaying Traditional Chinese (or any of the other languages that the iPhone handles). Examples of scripts which the iPad (like the iPhone) cannot yet display correctly are Devanagari, Bengali, Tamil, and Tibetan.

  • Does MuVo N200 fully support Traditional Chinese charact

I wonder if MuVo Micro N200 sold in the UK fully support Traditional Chinese character and some Asian languages such as Japanese(both in showing MP3 file/song name and in user interface)?
Or, I can only get UK-spec N200 and it only shows English/European Languages?

No, the unicode support have bugs for reading the id3 tags.
    Some characters are missed sometimes.
    Its no good.

  • After the newest update, i can no longer type in traditional chinese ( pin yin), does anyone else have the same problem?

after the newest update ( iso 7) , i can no longer type in traditional chinese ( pin yin), does anyone else have the same problem?

I downloaded and tried EasyFind. It works but it took 30+ seconds to complete finding 3 files that are on One of my Five 25+ Gb partitions of my 130 Gb Seagate Cuda(Really 160 Gb, but my Sawtooth will only recognize 130) I figured that if I ever got a better box, I could reformat it to see the whole 160 Gb. So, as far as I can see, Spotlight's indexing scheme which finds the files instantly is probably preferable. Spot light allows you to rename your files from within it's app window. I've always thought that was pretty powerful. Could my doing so be causing me any issues? As i said it is the inability to Type in the Finder that seemed to be caused from changing file Extentions that were mis-written. Maybe it was a delayed reaction to my renaming files in the Spotlight app? I've done both on occasion.
As for these .DS_Store files. Apparently you can NOT stop them from being written to any folder that you touch/open/view during a days session. But, as a function of the OS, are the essential to have in their respective folders Forever? I've looked at the .DS_Store terminator app briefly and assume that getting rid of these files won't hurt the regular operation of my OS. They will just be re-written if I ever have to go back to any particular folder again. But, apparently, some have said that if the plan on burning a CD or DVD of their data, they delete the .DS_Store files first and then do the burn.
I'm thinking from your having suggested this tremination app that you suspect that my having all of these ,DS_Store files could be a situation where any of them could have become corrupted and terminating them regularly should be part of my regular maintenance.
Does that sound like I'm understanding what I can do?
    TIA

  • What NLS_LANG can handles both Simplified and Traditional Chinese?

    Hi,
What values should I put into the NLS_LANG for my 10g db in order to handle English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese?
Can I specify the date format during the db creation?
    Thanks

You can try to create a database with database character set AL32UTF8. Then configure the NLS_LANG in client using the same character set. After that, try to input both simplified chinese and traditional chinese into one character column. See what is the results. I guess in AL32UTF8, same character has different encodings for simplified chinese and traditional chinese since they are written different ways.
For date format, I don't think you need to take care the database date format. Internally, Oracle keep date values using numeric type. When I handle date values, I retrieve it using to_char(datavalule, 'yyyy-mm-dd') and update it back using to_date('2006-01-01', 'yyyy-mm-dd') ('2006-01-01' is just an example).

  • Acrobat Reader cannot display Traditional Chinese Character correctly in 64 bit Windows 7

    Hi,
I get a pdf file cannot display chinese character properly in Windows 7 64 bit but Windows XP 32 bit.  I did uninstall and re-install Reader 9.4.3 and 10.0.1 with and without Traditional Fonts patch in the 64 bit machine but no luck.  Does anyone have a solution for this?
    Thanks in advance.

I run Acrobat 9.3.3 on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit system with no problems. Perhaps you should make sure you have all of Acrobat 9's maintenance installed.

I fond that, there is search issue with Walkman app build in Z1 Compact.
When search the title of song with Chinese, I MUST give more than one Chinese character.
I can NOT search songs with single Chinese character, it will find nothing. (without warning or alert)
For example, If there is a song named "深愛".
I can found it by search "深愛", but the song can't be found by search "深" or "愛".
    The main problem is:
it makes the songs which name is only one character could never been found.

  • Chinese Character display issue on Coldfusion 10

My Company using Coldfusion to built an report platform and recently I upgrade our Coldfusion 7MX with Windows Server 2003 to Coldfusion 10 Enterprise with Windosw Server 2008 R2.
I copy the Code from the Old server to the new one, but I met the problem I couldn’t solve.
We have a repost that can enter, modify and view our SRM that has Chinese Character display request. Chinese character was display without problem when the system in the old server. which look like following.
once I move the code into the new server, I got the problem with Chinese Character as following.
This report pulling the data from SQL2005 with Windows Server 2003 R2.
Coldfusion code code was same and both version is access to the same database.
I ran all of the update included to install the windows MUI for Chinese character into the new server,  but I still can't get the character display correctly.
I can view the chinese character website without issue but only to display in the report.
I contact with Microsoft tech support but they don't have an solution for me. please help.

Install windows server language pack:  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=12250
Are you sure the Chinese is encoded in UTF-8?  (It should be, but you should check the database field type encoding.)  If it's simplified chinese it could be set to GB18030 and if it's traditional chinese it could be Big5.
You might want to leave off the encoding directive in CF and load the page in a browser then change encodings using tools > encodings  to see what works.

  • I want to help with the translations of Tradition Chinese for Photoshop Touch for phone application

    Hi there,
My name is Richard and I have been using your Photoshop Touch For phone app for quite some time.
This is a great app but there is just one little thing that maybe you can make this app better by adding other languages.
I am not really good at English so I have translated your app into Traditional Chinese for my personal use.
I see that this app is only in English, it is quite inconvenient for people who don't understand English.
So I am hoping if I can help and participate with Traditional Chinese traslation for this app in your next release.
If you do so it's an great honor for me because I really like your app!
Should I just attach the folders for the translations or do you have a website that I can just put all the translation in?
I hope to hear from you soon
    Thanks
    Riachard

I've been having big issues with installing and reinstalling iTunes. I found the same site that gives instructions on uninstalling everything, and I did it in the right order, then I reinstalled iTunes onto the computer, and it worked.
The only problem with all of this is that every time I connect my iTouch to the computer, this alert pops up:
"This iPod cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes."
Whenever I try to download iTunes, I always get warnings that tell me to download the "64-bit" version, because the version that's being installed was meant for a 32-bit computer. I always tell the computer to continue installing iTunes anyway, because otherwise I just have to start all over again for the same results.
After everything's installed, I get another warning that tells me that iTunes was not installed correctly, and that I need to reinstall it.
So basically, everything works fine despite the warnings, up until I actually try to sync songs to my iPod Touch.
Do you have any idea what the "64-bit" version is or how I could download that version instead of whatever version I've been trying to install??
Any help at all would be great, if you can. Thanks.

  • No english version of CS6 for China?

I have been contacting Adobe office in China several times and they told me no english version of CS6 for China, only chinese version is available!
This is unacceptable and i'm very curios to know WHY!
So non-chinese speaking people in China cannot use CS6? Are you forcing me to download the free cracked version of your software?!
At the mean time i'm also trying to contact Adobe in U.S., one online customer service told me I CAN purchase English version as well...when i told this to the customer service in China, they told me this online support might be wrong...........uhhhh, are you kidding me?!
So, any official answer to this? and more importantly, solutions?!

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    *Firefox 25: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    *(32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
    *(64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"

  • Email cannot show Chinese character.

    Hi,
When I read emails in my ipod touch, the Chinese character cannot be shown properly. They appear to be all chaotic characters. Can someone help me what I should set up/install in order to view the Chinese character?
    Thanks in advance.

I think that currently only emails in Unicode may be displayed correctly and there is no way yet to adjust the encoding for other kinds.
Are you sure about that? What about Western encoding for the French and German?
Or is this yet another reason for me not to buy an iPhone?
