Can Iphone bought in India have a GSM sim of USA?
If I bought a iphone 5s from india.Can I have the GSM sim of USA as i will not be availing the contarct schemes of iphone.Is this possible.If yes then which service provider's gsm sim can be used and what are the plans?
If it's an unlocked phone, yes, you can use any compatible GSM carrier.
The two supported GSM carriers in the US are AT&T and T-Mobile.
You can look at their web sites for information on available plans and rates.

If officially unlocked, you can purchase a sim from one of the two nationwide GSM carriers, AT&T or T-Mobile. However, AFAIK, none of the carriers in India offer unlocking for the iPhone. Thus, if your phone is carrier locked, the only way it will work in the US is roaming...that would cost a fortune.
So, if you have a carrier locked iPhone, leave it home or sell it before you come to the US, then purchase an officially unlocked iPhone, from Apple, when you get to the US. You'll be able to use that phone in India when you go back. -

It should work and be unlocked, however if you bought it alongside a connection already ther in the pack, say vodafone or airtel, then you need to get it unlocked. You may try checking it by inserting some other carrier's sim and see.

i called apple HK and they said that my service provider in india - airtel, my cell no is 98182 84312 - will be able to unlock it but airtel can't do it

thanksAirtel in India can provide authorized unlocking, according to this linked kbase article. They are the only ones who can do that (Apple cannot, no one in HK can). You need to try contacting Airtel again.

Can iphone bought from US be repaired using warantty in China
HI I bought 5s last Nov and used it in China right. And it has some problem with the screen. Can I use the warantty to repair the 5s in China?
Apple will NOT repair a US-purchased (made in China) iPhone in China even if you offer to pay for the repair. They must protect their hardware sales by asking you to purchase separate phones for each country you spend significant time in. If you spend 6 months in China and 6 months in US, two phones is the only solution they offer because, as I was told at the Apple Store this morning, "Apple is not a global company."

IPhone works great , Just have a new sim card installed
I read a lots of comments about the Iphone 4S . I had all the problems where it did work for a few minutes and tried everything . Main thing is you need a new sim card 128mb not the 64 . Do not use your old Sim card that you have on the Iphone 4 , Looks like it wares and does problems. I helped many friends where I am now at the Red Sea in our resort in Egypt and thye had many problems but one main thing was the Sim Card.
Other than this no problems at all.
good Luck and hope that you like your Iphone 4SNo carrier "automatically" unlocks at end of contract - many won't do it at all, even if requested. I don't know what your carrier's policy is since you didn't say what country you're in.
However, if I understand you correctly, you didn't change carriers so it doesn't matter if it was unlocked or not. Try the following steps, as needed:
1. Reset phone - press both home and sleep/wake buttons for at least 19 seconds until the Apple logo appears
2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
3. Restore phone in iTunes using a backup
4. Replace SIM card (don't care what Telstra says)
5. Restore phone in iTunes as new, without using a backup
6. Take phone to Apple. -

I have an unlocked Sumsung Galaxy S2. I bought it from Bangladesh. It has been working well with any Bangladeshi GSM sim card. I just arrived in USA. Is it possible to get a Verizon GSM sim card for my phone?
If yes, please let me know the link from where I can place an order for a Verizon GSM sim card.
Or let me know If I need to change any settings to make the phone supportable for a Verizon GSM sim card ?

The OP has an unlocked GSM model of the Samsung Galaxy S2. Verizon Wireless never offered that model of phone on their network. Besides the radio frequencies are incompatible. -

if i bought an Iphone 6 from usa (contract free,T-mobile) can i use in srilanka (outside the usa) ?
and to activate it should i have t-mobile sim ?As Ethmoid says, it is still a CDMA phone as I told you earlier, and it will not work with t-mobile. Even if Sprint unlocked the phone, it would only unlock the GSM side for international use. They will not unlock the GSM side for domestic use in the US.

Only the carrier to whom the device is locked can authorize it's unlocking. Contact the carrier to see if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
