Can Iphone sync with any other calendar

Hi I was wondering if the new Iphone 3G is able to sync with any other calendars other than outlook. If there is a program or something.

Connect your iPhone to your computer with the USB-dock cable. In iTunes select your iPhone. You will see contact and calendar syncing in one of the tabs.

When I add an event to my ipad it does not get synced with any other calendars on my other devices.

My calendar on my ipad will sync with any information added on my android phone or on my PC but if I add information directly on my ipad it does not get added to my PC or phone.

Do you have iCloud?

I just got the new 3G and am trying to get my iCal and my Address Book info from my MacBook to my iPhone and I don't see any syncing options for those options. I have only found things on the net for OS X 10.5 not 10.4.
I am sure its not as hard as I am making it out to be. I might be having one of those brain **** moments/days/weeks but can any one talk to me like a child and walk me through it? Thanks

My colleague who uses Windows at the office has synced her calendar with Outlook 2003; that should not be a problem. The iPhone directly syncs contacts with Outlook 2003 as well.
iPhone does not connect to Exchange Servers directly unless they are setup for IMAP or POP e-mail access. And in those cases it is not syncing calendar or contact info with the server, just e-mail. (As an aside, we have not been able to get the iPhone to retrieve e-mail using POP to connect to our Exchange server. POP is working fine (lots of other e-mail clients use it without a problem), but the iPhone cannot connect).

Can iphone sync with Mac and PC itunes for different data ?

I have a Mac at home where I keep my music and personal email and then a PC at work where I keep my 1000+ contacts and calendar in Outlook. Will I be able to set my MBP Itunes to sync .mac email and music/tv/podcasts/etc. only while at the same time set the itunes at work to sync Outlook contacts and calendar? This would give me the perfect information that I need on my iphone.

I have a similar problem in that I'm using a MacPro to sync iTunes with my iPod yet I have a MacBook Pro that I run Parallels/WinXP Pro to run Outlook and my CRM of choice, ACT.
CompanionLink (www.companionlink.com) has just announced an update that will allow PC users to sync ACT, Goldmine with the iPod through Outlook on the same PC. The synching works in both directions so that contact or calendar changes you make on the iPod will be updated on your PC CRM program.
I've been using Companionlink for years on PCs to sync to various Palm devices including my current phone, the Treo 700P (Palm). It works well and tech support is friendly and effective.
Since switching to Macs in January and run all of my PC apps on Parallels/WinXP, the CompanionLink software has worked very well in this environment.
As soon as iPhones are in stock near me, I plan on switching from Verizon to ATT just so that I can have an iPhone. I hate the Treo so bad that I'm willing to pay the $175 Verizon service termination fee to get the iPhone.
One thing that I will miss, although I don't use it much, is the ability to use my Treo via Bluetooth connection to my MacBook as a modem for broadband access while on the road. I've been told that you cannot do this with the iPhone.

Iphone sync with Google holiday calendar doesn't work

I have an iphone with IOS 5.1.1 and I'm using Gmail for email, contacts, etc.
I have already synced my Google calendar with the iPhone Cal and it's working fine. I'm trying now to sync the Google holidays calendars with he iPhone, and it's not working. The holiday calendar appears in the list checked , but the holiday itself doesn't appear in the calendar (June 7th is holiday, and it appears in the web and in the iCal in the MAC). I've done the same procedures for my iPad and it worked... The same happens with the birthdays calendar... Any help?

My iPod is locked so it's telling me to login to iTunes but I can't sync with any computer.

I just put on a new passcode on my iPod yesterday and I forgot the passcode for it. I kept trying what I remembered of it in any way I thought possible but it was never the correct passcode. I tried once more and now it says "iPod is disabled - connect to iTunes", but no computers will sync with my iPod. can anyone help me?

It sounds like the wrong passcode was entered multiple times on your iPad 2 which is now disabled, and you’re running into an issue restoring it. The article linked below provides more information about the iPad is disabled alert and will walk you through resolving the issue.

Can I go around the passcode on my ipad. It is not synced with any other computer?

I downloaded the latest version for the ipad. When I did that, it took me out and then started asking for a passcode. I haven't used a passcode for a year and have forgotten it. Every time I try to put in a passcode that might work, apparently it is the wrong code, because it won't let me try for even longer.

How can icloud sync with multiple outlook calendars?

I have an outlook calendar syncing to icloud. But I want to sync another calendar as well and I want to add holidays. Can this be done with icloud? Or should I go back to yahoo calendar? Thanks.

It works for millions of users, you are doing it wrong. Read the directions and follow them exactly, no diversions.
Please try to understand that there is NO sync. iCloud is a server to client Dav system, not a client to client sync system.
How does the desktop tell you that "outlook has been set up to sync"
I would like to know the exact conditions that generate that,

What good is video integration if Lightroom can't share with ANY other apps ???

Perhaps I am missing the VERY obvios, however it seems to me as if LR4's video integration is missing just about anything there is to miss.
Really crazy to think that those apps are coming from the same house ;-)
1) There is NO possibility to export to non-compressed media an include the Metadata CAREFULLY set in Lightroom. DPX does NOT get the LR4 Metadata written to them.
2) Exporting an H264 to H264 directly without intermediating will downgrade the quality so severly that one does NOT want to look at that video anymore.
3) Adobe has a wonderful way of sharing Metadata between its professional apps, so if one applies metadate inside of i..e Bride, Premiere Pro will be able to read them and vice versa.
ALL metadata applied inside of LR4 - STAY in lightroom 4. No other adobe app will be able to see those metadata. This is beyond crazy to me. And I have a HARD time understanding
why adobe implemented all those features of video if they are absoluty NO USE to anyone. Unless of course one would want to watch all his videos in Lightroom UNCUT.
But since the adobe lightroom crew has not yet figured out the obvious and included Lightroom in Apple's FronRow - I dont see that happen, at least for Mac users which are VERY acustomed
to a certain luxury that ANY OS should feature!
Perhaps adobe just wanted to pad them selves on the shoulders with Video capabilities which ARE GREAT when it comes to applying metadata, setting in and outpoints etc etc etc.
But if NO EXPORT (besides DPX which is NOT metadata capble) not severly degrading is possible why on earth did they implement it...
If this wasnt so darn tragic I would be laughing but I would LOVE to actually be able to use Lightroom to handle my rushes (footage) and be able to apply metadata in LR4 and then just import into Premiere.
Perhaps this just the first beta's shortcomings. I really hope so.

I would really love to use my IPod. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I remove itunes and reinstall it, I get this message:
The iTunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (-50).
Since I can't get any help from anyone at Apple without purchasing it (and I don't feel I should have to purchase help for a malfunction in a program), does anyone know if I can download books, etc., on to my ipod using something other than itunes.

For other reasons, I had to flatten my laptop and reinstall everything. This time I installed Office 2013 32 bit version (insteand of 64 bit - I had read of some other compatibility issues). I reinstalled the BBRY desktop and the sync worked correctly. Success!!! All works well
