I think I have discovered the answer to my own question!
I have disabled Adobe Reader plug-in, and can now see PDFs in Chrome.
(Steps: Chrome Menu, Settings option, Click Advanced Settings link, then Content Settings button, then select Disable Individual Plug-Ins, and a list of plug-ins is offered to enable or disable).
I then get a different result depending on whether or not Chrome PDF viewer is enabled - with it enabled I see the PDF document in Chrome, or with it disabled then the option is offered to download it, but either way I can get it it via Chrome without having to run Internet explorer in another browser window.

4th gen has a microphone pin-hole on the back next to the camera.
2nd and 3rd gens allowed the use of an external microphone using a special headphone jack.
I do not think the 1st gen can accept a microphone, but I am unsure.

Is icloud also used to store data?

I have a 16 gb ipad my daughter uses to take videos of everything. It is now full. Can I purchase more icloud space and delete off the ipad so she can continue taking more videos? Or will it only backup what I have room for on the ipad? Any other suggestions of where to store all her videos that she can find again easily? I tried photobucket but that app isn't working very well since they are using the new beta system.

Because YouTube understands the right way up to show the video, based on the orientation data the iPad saves into the file.
Unfortunately, Windows is not so clever, and ignores the data telling it which way up the video was shot. Try a different movie player and you should be able to find one that correctly reads the orientation.
I can't recommend any as I don't use Windows.
The length of time it takes to upload videos to YouTube is entirely dependent on the up speed of your internet connection. Even if you could upload 10 movies at a time, it wouldn't be any quicker.

Can Archive Link be used to store the docs from SAP R/3 to KM Repository

Could you please advice whether archive link can be used to store documents from SAP R/3 enviroment to KM Repository. I have verified the storage types that archive link can support (Like HTTP Content Server) . But i couldn't see any storage type out there which is compatible with KM Content storage.
If it is not possible, Could you please advice is there any way to store the documents from SAP R/3 environment to KM Repository.

until now I haven't found a solution in detail, but some ways to verify the connection.
I wrote about a tool that export the pdf to the filesystem, this wont be able at this time, it must developed, because a function will place the data in a sap table and from this point there we can export it on the filesystem after we've develop some abap code.
I thought that was already available, but that what i found was the Report RSTXPDFT4 in the sap system, with this you can transfer spool to pdf and store the file in dialog on a filesystem, there will webdav be able to use, but it must be batch.
So I search to a new way, I try to set the repository for rooms from persitence from db to fsdb, this works, but with our patch sp9 there are some errors, so i must patch it to sp 15/16 first.
I'm able to make the netshare on windows, so the repository is reachable with an unc Path. If the report, that must be written can access such unc path (normaly thats works in the same domain) we can store the Files in the room workspace document folder an the portal synch job can make the rest. >IN the sap system there must be a table to map the rooms to the responsable folder.
This way should be work, but it isn't fine for productive, I heard from a way to transfer the data with java. In CRm System there should be a fnction from sap CRM_ISA_ORDER_CONVERT_TO_PDF and the isa use the java-stream to transform it in pdf, but this is nothing for me, that must be checked from a java developer, a colleague of my will check this.

Can iPod shuffle be used with any FM recivers for car listening?

Can my iPod Shuffle be used with any FM receivers so that I can listen to songs through my car radio? I know Alot of FM recievers say that they are compatable with variouse mp3 players. I just want to know if I can plug in my Ipod shuffle to any of these recivers so I can listen to it thorugh my cars radio. Does any one know this and can You please recomend me one. i have a Belkin Tunecast Transmitter and it works really well. it just plugs in the place where headphones would plug in. :>

Can time capsule be used to store the iPhoto library?

Can somebody please advise if the time capsule can be used to store iPhoto library files (90GB) and iMovie files (600GB).

Don't know about iMovie, but if you check with the experts in the iPhoto support area, they will strongly advise against locating the iPhoto library on the Time Capsule....especially if you are using wireless.
Might be a good idea to post over there for first hand info, but even if you decide to do this....risking corruption to your image library....have you thought about how you will back up the iPhoto library once it is on the Time Capsule?
You will need another hard drive for this, of course...and an application that can backup a network drive....since Time Machine cannot do this.
A better idea might be to connect a hard drive directly to your Mac using USB or FireWire and store the iPhoto library there....as the iPhoto experts will also recommend.
Then....Time Machine will back up both your Mac and the hard drive.....so you have backups of everything.

I updated to Mavericks and video streaming is slower and I can't video chat using the Messages app. How do I fix this?

In Messages > Preferences > Video section > Bandwidth drop down try setting the speed to 500kbps
This is faster then the min for 4 way video chats but can slow the chat to a more common speed.
Basically as internet speeds have increased the differences between two buddies can be greater.
Using slower speeds can be a more common area of speed.
It can also help when ISPs tried to combat Peer-to-Peer file sharing and slow down your service.
Video chats are Peer-to-Peer and the ISPs can't tell the difference.

How can a video editor use an NTSC studio monitor on the new iMac without a Firewire 400 port?

Looking at the new iMacs (hungrily) and wondering how I will be able to continue using my Sony DSR-11 and NTSC monitor in the absence of any Firewire 400 port. I suppose there may be cables that will allow me to use the Firewire 800 port and am thinking they may be difficult to locate.

No they're not - they're available from many sources; i.e. I bought a FW 400 > 800 cable when I bought my iMac last August (at an authorized local reseller). Just google Firewire 400 > 800 and you'll get plenty of results. You can also opt for an adapter if you prefer. Both are also available at the Apple store online.

Can't connect and use 2 Store.E Canvio HDDs at the same time

I have 2 Store.e Canvio devices: 2TB and 3TB respectively but, it looks like I can't connect/use them at the same time, as if I do, one of them (the lastest I have connected), becomes inaccessible ("denied access").
If I disconnect the first device I connected, the second one, starts working,,,
Is a weird issue,and I can't find anyone experiencing something similar...
Any idea how could it be causing this, and/or how could I solve it?

Im wondering if the same problem appears using another computer or additional USB hub with an additional power supply.
From my point of few this issue could be related to low power provided by single USB port.
Both HDDs seem to support the USB 3.0 standard.
The common USB 2.0 port provides 500mA and USB 3.0 requires 900mA
So this means that two USB devices connected simultaneously would use 1800mA which might be too much for the notebooks USB ports

Rhythmbox error: Can't update podcast & use Magnatune Store plugin

Hi, well recently I noticed that Rhythmbox wasn't update my podcasts, hitting the 'Update all feeds' does nothing. Also the Magnatune plugin fails to load the playlist properly.
So I try running Rhythmbox from terminal and this is what I get:

happens evey time Rhythmbox is trying to update feeds.
I checked on the Wiki to make sure that I got every libs installed (gnome-python, gstreamer-gnome-vfs, etc.) but it still doesn't work.
What is the problem? I used to be able to download feeds with Rhythmbox without and problem, until now. Is it because I need to open some ports for Rhythmbox to work? (I had firewall up and running recently.) Thanks for helping.
BTW: Rhythmbox have no problem playing internet radio. Weird.
UPDATE: I delete '~/,gnome2/rhythmbox' folder and podcast now seems to work (I can update and download a podcast). But I still get this error:

UPDATE2: Ok, now I think I know what cause this: Magatune Store plugin. It seems that it tries to write change into '/opt' folder (which it can't) and give this error:

Ok for anyone interest, I post the above questions on Rhythmbox IRC channel and got some answers regarding these error messages. It appears that the first error mesage:
(rhythmbox:5601): RhythmDB-WARNING **: trying to sync properties of non-editable file
Is nothing serious and seems to have been fixed in 0.11.x. So all is fine.
Magatune Store plugin error was caused by the location of the file on the server was moved. It was already fixed, so wait for 0.11.x or if you just can't wait, moch post me this link to the fix: http://svn.gnome.org/viewcvs/rhythmbox/ … 92&r2=5279
