I have downloaded several books into ibooks. Started reading one and closed it when I was done reading for the day. Now I want to access other books and when I open ibooks it goes directly to that first book. It does not give me the shelf to choose what book I want to read - goes directly to the first book. I am not able to access my photos through the photo application... when I click on the photo app, I can see the camera roll, but a transparent "album" screen is over it and I cannot click on the photos to see it... can any one please help ???
Known bug. Quit the Camera App, double-tap the home key and delete Camera from the recent apps bar. Fire it up again, should be good.

MY screen continually freezes up. I've tried closing all apps that are open and have held down the home button and start button simultaneously but neither helped. Can someone out there help me?
Well the next couple of things to try would be to reset all settings, and if that doesn't help, it's probably time to restore the iOS software.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. That will take all settings on the iPad back to factory defaults. It will not delete anything and you will not lose any data, but you will have to enter all settings again ...WiFi passwords, enable Siri, select your wallpaper, adjust brightness, turn on location services and set privacy settings, etc, etc.

Should you decide to restore the iOS, it is extremely important that you back up first so that you can restore from the backup and then sync with iTunes afterward in order to restore all content back to the iPad. It is all covered in the kb article.
If you do not sync with iTunes, then I assume that you backup with iCloud. In that case you can erase the device in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. Once again, backing up with I loud is I,operative before you do this so that you can restore from the iCloud backup after you erase the iPad and start over again with activation.

Can someone please just help me figure out how to update this stupid phone(iPhone 4)without losing anything? I somehow have more than one Apple ID on this,but I just want my music and my pictures to stay and I'm terrified of losing these things. No app on the iOS device is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod/iPhone/iPad on the iOS device in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected or cellular data is on and connected for, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or continue to show off-line.
- You can also wipe/erase the iOS device and have the device play a sound via iCloud.

- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.

We own 5 Apple devices but for some reason I cannot get iTunes to recognize one of the iPads. The other 4 show up just fine and we can sync and do all the stuff we are supposed to do, but this one device is never recognized. I've tried updating the software, reinstalling iTunes, using different ports on the laptop, different cables...just about everything. I have NEVER been able to connect this one device, but all the others are fine. I'm at my wits end. Is there someone out there who can help a relative novice figure out what's going on? How can I get no answers and no help!
Hi All,
I am so angry frustrated and fed up with BT its not real and after a month of useless customer service people in every country in the world I have decided to get ofcom involved as BT just dont care at all.
I have been a customer for BT for about 7 years and always paid my bills ontime and have many time in the past recommended BT (Not anymore) alot not only to friend but also to businesses.
After a messy split with my partner i had to move from my property so on the 6th of January i called BT's moving team and got the process moving to move all my services (phone, broadband & bt vision) the guy was really helpful and said that the old phone and services would be disconnected on the 17th Jan and broadband the same day, he then went on to say that an engineer would have to come to my property on the 21st to check that the bt vision would work correctly as there was low bandwith where i lived but thought it would be ok.
So i thought great all done but on the 17th nothing happened at the new property i call CS and the lady did try to help and after talking to the old line user said a mistake had happed with a cancellation and they would sort it all out by the 19th so dont worry. 19th comes nothing so another call to CS they could not work it out so put me through to a guy in the UK who could not have been more unhelpful if he tried. He said that the engineer had reported a problem but i would have to wait. At this point i thought i would complain as i had not had any comms from BT at all i had to do all the calling even though they say on the website if the date are moved they will contact you.
i tried the only complaint messaging service this time. The guy tried to be helpful but then informed me that my order was cancelled? Why i asked he said he did not know but would have to call me back. Well he did call back the next day and still had no idea what had happened and i have now not heard a thing from him since last thursday.
On Monday i logged into my account and now it shows i wont get any connections until the 7th of feb so i called and said its a joke and whats going on. The guy said what do you expect you only placed the order yesterday? I asked what? and then looked at the only account and true enough the order date had changed to the 23rd and they could not see the previous order even though the order number had not changed. Its a disgrace as i think you will find the moving team dont work sundays so i know someone has changed that so it did not look so bad. The person said he would escalate the connection (I bet he did not as naff all has happened). He said he would get his manager who i have to say i dont think was i just think he passed me to his mate to try and get me off the line. He said they would get it sorted and come back to me with 24hrs and guess what Nothing.
So if you are a good customer and pay ontime this is what BT really thinks of you and will help you if things go wrong. I have got a complaint reference now and will be keeping a diary of events in order to contact Ofcom when it is all sorted and to post on onther forum the outcome and how i was dealt with.
KingaWell the useless system has done yet another update and useful as usual it now says my connection date for BT Vision is 26th Jan (2 days ago) but the phone and broadband will be 7th of Feb so that will be a full month since i placed the order and still nothing from anyone at BT.
Nothing about the original engineer visit or anything so this is going to roll on and on and the so called escalation, well they may as well said what can we say to you to get you off the line as i bet there is no such thing as escalition at all as so far all its done is push these so called dates further and further away.
Oh and here is a another nugget of so called customer service for you is you ask about compensation for all the calls, hassle and stress they say you cant have a thing as it says it in the terms & conditions. Oh well in that case why call you team customer services if you cant really stand the customers and cant admit when you make a massive mistake causing untold hardship to the customer that you would like to make up for it in someway.

Hi, yesterday morning when I unplugged my phone from the wall charger I noticed there were too small black oval shapes on the top center of my screen. Being late for school I didn't really mind it.. Through out the day do, it's as if it extended to my right side of the screen and to my left. There are still two black oval circles on the top, now one side of the screen flips from different colors and lines and the other flips from white to black. I can't see anything!!
How can i fix this? Will blackberry cover me for this? I run my hand over the screen and I can't feel any scratches or bumps or marks. I dropped it once the first time I got it, but it was less than a foot, and nothing happened to it. I'm with telus and in canada.. Any and all help is appreciated.

Your initial post did not really describe the problem and your question. You don't provide the reader with specifics.
I am explaining what I think cknelsen meant because we probably is trying to be helpful but the language barrier is getting in the way.

My IPhone shut off by itself and I can't turn it back on. My lock screen button is broken and I tried plugging it into the wall but nothing happened. Can you guys please help me.
IIf the battery was completely drained it might take some time before the phone will respond. Wait at least 30 minutes with the phone connected to the charger. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the phone starts up let it continue to charge until it's 100%.
if the broken button will not let you do the reset Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -

hey every11 question.. can i use iweb w/ using quictime just something normal that everyone can view my mp3.. cuz some ppl dont have quicktime installed on there WINDOWS and wnt be able to hear the musc on the site. i tried adding a HTML CODE to .js
