Can Labview be used to develop hand-held microcontroller reatl-time products (such as based on an ARM processor?)

It appears that Labview can only be used in "PC based" applications. But many products are developed using microcontrollers or ARM processors. How would/could Labview fit into such an application?/ Low power battery operation is a must!

There is another thread that talk about Real-time programming using LabView. It also covers items such as PDA.

Im trying to set up iMessage on my Macbook Pro and it says "Your Apple ID can't be used to set up iMessage at the time". What could be the problem and how can i fix it?

These instructions apply only if you want to use the same Apple ID with iMessage and with iTunes. If that's not what you want, contact Apple by clicking the "Support" link at the top of this page.
Launch iTunes and select from the menu bar

  • Our Apple ID can't be used to set up iMessage at this time

I'm successfully using iMessage / FaceTime on my iPhone and iPad but now I bought the MacBook Air and I can't log in!
    The message I'm getting is:
Your Apple ID "[email protected]" can't be used to set up iMessage at this time
    Can anyone help, please?

There is no official public documentation of that alert as far as I know.
If you're trying to sign in to FaceTime, try to sign in to iMessage in the Messages application, or vice versa.
Otherwise, do as the alert directs. According to reports, you won't be charged for the support call if you select "Apple ID"—not the hardware model—as the product you're asking about, and cite the "customer code" in the alert as the "validation code" when you speak to the Apple representative.

  • Can LabVIEW be used to activate a test device running on a Keyence PLC programmed with Keyence Ladder Logic?

    Good Morning,
I'm working on automating a test at my workplace.  We have an automatic test fixture that is controlled by a Keyence PLC running on Keyence Ladder Logic.  It worth mentioning that the data from the test is monitored with a Chatillon digital torque gauge.  I was hoping that I would be able to program LabVIEW to activate the PLC and then have LabVIEW record the data from the Chatillon for the test.  I'm pretty sure I can get the Chatillon torque data into LabVIEW, but am unsure even where to start with the PLC.  I realize that I might not be able to use the PLC with LabVIEW, but just thought I check for certain.  Any help with either the Torque gauge or the PLC would be greatly appreciated.

    Rolfk,
Thanks for your suggestion on this. Perhaps i could develop
a VI library for myself which could communicate with the keyence
PLC and perform all the operations mentioned in the keyence manual.
Thanks everybody for your valuable suggestions and help.
This is always another option. I implemented several
VI libraries in the past to access PLCs and PLC alike systems over
serial port and TCP/IP directly such as AutomationDirect PLCs, Siemens
AS511, Opto22 SnapIO, Haidenhein TNC, etc. However don't underestimate
the work this will be. In general if the protocol is documented at
least I can get something working in a single day, but until the
protocol libraries are so well developed that they can work stable and
reliably over days and weeks of uninterrupted communication with the
device, you easily spend anything from one week to five or six weeks of
development work. The difficulty is usually not to get the
communication going, but to get a library that can cope with
communication errors by ignoring certain errrors or retrying the
operation even before the higher level software gets aware that there
might have been a problem at all.
Of course if OPC is the only commercially available option and you do
need to operate on a RT target for instance there is no other option
than to dive in such a driver development. If however your time is
limited and you do want a rather reliable operation and can work from a
normal Windows computer using an OPC solution will almost always be
easier, cheaper and much better for your blood pressure.

  • Can JDeveloper be used for developing code for deployment to production?

    Hello,
I've downloaded JDeveloper and wanted to know if I could use it for developing code that is deployed to production? I looked at the licensing terms and nothing there seems to say I can't do that. Am I missing something? Also on the JDeveloper page, it says "Free download". Is this tool like SQL Developer - truly free?
    Thanks
    Alex

JDeveloper is totally free, you can use it for production. However, some libraries come with JDeveloper, such as ADF, are not free and you have to pay for them in order to use them in production.

  • Why can't I use the Develop module?

I bought the stand alone version of Lightroom so I would not have to subscribe monthly. Now it is not letting me use the "Develop" module. Please tell me I do not have to have a subscription after I bought the full program.

I suspect that you did an update recently. In doing so, you have installed from the creative cloud. It is the same program, but it is licensed differently. It will be necessary for you to uninstall that version and then installed from one of these links:

  • Can Labview be used to Monitor motherboard sensors?

hi..i would like to know if there is a way that we could monitor motherboards sensors? like temperature, fan speed etc. using labView
    thanks
    madhan

    Hello Madhan,
With LabVIEW's ability to interact with external code, it should be possible to read in the motherboard's internal sensors. A quick google search for the keywords "motherboard sensors" returned some promising results on libraries that should read the sensors. You may also want to contact your motherboard manufacturer as they may have a prebuilt library or more information on how to interact with their particular sensors.
The links below should provide some information on how to interface this external code into LabVIEW.

  • Can labview be used in high vacuum systems?

I want to use Labview to control carbon dating sample processing which occurs in a high vacuum system. My question is, it is possible to use labview?

I don't see how having a high vacuum has anything to do with Labview, unless you're putting your whole PC in it!
What sort of sensors will you be using? I assume you will be using a standard DAQ card to convert the sensor data. A few more specifics would be helpful.

  • Can 1 iPhone use 2 Apple ID at the same time?

My iPhone4s used to download Whatsapp and its chargable that time. So my friend use his Apple ID to download for me. Now i have to upgrade my Whatsapp version and this app already FREE. When try to upgrade it will request my friend Apple ID. And i lost contact with my friend already. Please advice guys...

Technically, you can not use 2 apple IDs on one iOS device.  Someone can download an application on your iOS device from their account by going to setting > iTunes & App Stores and signing into their account instead of yours.  The only downside to this methood is you must have the original user who purchased the application's password to update the app because the app is registered to that user.  If you no longer have contact with that friend, you have two options.  You can either not update the app, or uninstall it and repurchase the app under your own iTunes account.  Let me know if this made sense.  I would be happy to clarify anything.

  • Why can't i use wifi and bluetooth at the same time?

I recently bought a Philips docking speaker that has bluetooth connectivity for streaming music wirelessly from my Ipod Touch. The bluetooth/speaker works great, but, my Touch won't allow me to be online AND use the bluetooth at the same time. This is really annoying when you want to listen to music and check your emails. Am I doing something wrong?? Any  help would be gratefully received.

I can use by BT headphones while my iPod is connected to the internet via wifi with no problems. I am uncertain how the Philips' system works.  Does it have its own BT transmitter/receiver or doe it use the iPods to stream to its speaker?

  • Your Apple ID can't be used  to set up iMessage at this time.

Hello, have MacBook Pro with OS X Mavericks. All worked fine but today I normally restarted my MacBook and iMessages stop working. Don't know why. Can anybody help me? I tried to call to support centre, but in Slovakia isn't any support and czech support is offline today.
    Thank you so much.

There is no official public documentation of that alert as far as I know, but apparently it can sometimes mean that the same Apple ID is being used with the iTunes Store or one of the other Apple content stores, and the payment method is invalid. Sign in to the store and review your account. You do not, of course, have to provide any billing information to set up an account to use only with iMessage, as it's a no-charge service.
Another possibility is that the primary or alternate email address is invalid. Search the Web for the phrase "My Apple ID." The top hit should be an Apple web page with that title. I'm not giving a direct link because such links are never to be trusted. Sign in and verify the ID.
Otherwise, do as the alert directs. According to reports, you won't be charged for the support call if you select "Apple ID"—not the hardware model—as the product you're asking about, and cite the "customer code" in the alert as the "validation code" when you speak to the Apple representative. I can't confirm.

  • Can my ipad use wifi and bluetooth at the same time?

    Hi
I can stream radio via wifi radio apps and play through earphones. I can connect to my bluetooth speaker and play music stored on my ipad ok.
When I connect up to my bluetooth speaker and try to stream the radio app it plays for a couple of seconds then stops for 20 seconds then plays for 2 seconds and carries on start, stop, start (I guess it's buffering or something?).
Is it not possible to listen to a radio app and stream it to a bluetooth speaker at the same time?
    Any suggestions welcome

Thanks for confirming it should work man.
