Can Labview drivers be on a different drive then the C?

I want to put the drivers on a different drive is this possible?  Thanks

Possible, probably yes - just point the installation to another drive.
Desirable, I would guess not, because things work best in their default location.
However, if you want to install everything (including LabVIEW itself) to a different drive, you should probably not have any problems.
Try to take over the world!

  • Can we get a output in different languages for the same configuration

    Hi All,
Can we get a output in different languages for the same configuration done in NACE. or it is language specific.
They have symbols which have values both in german and english. But when we run the transaction we are getting the output only in german language. We want the out put in english
    language.
    Thanks in Advance.

A Smartform can be maintained in many languages other than the language that it is created. Translations for the texts have to be maintained for this purpose.
    To maintain the translations:
Go to transaction SE63 in R/3.
Go to menu Translation->R/3 Enterprise->Other Long Texts
Select the object type in the pop up. Smartform(SSF) object type is found under Forms and Styles(FS).
Enter the name of the Smart form and choose the source and target language. This would open a screen with the Smartform code in Source language on the top and an editor with the same code in the bottom.
Find the text for which you need to maintain the translation and insert the translation in that place. As usual after required texts are maintained Save and Activate.
To see the translated Smartform create an output type and assign the smartform and the driver program to this output type. In the transaction that sends output to this smartform, select the output type and select the language in which the smartform has to be displayed (translations have to be maintained in this lanuage). This will give the smartform in the required language.

  • Can two peeps use iChat with different accounts on the same computer?

What do I do to REMOVE an old AIM account and replace it with a new account in IChat?
Can two peeps use iChat with different accounts in the same computer?
(Actually, two people share a laptop, but one of us cannot use her AIM account cuz mine is in iChat already... And, when traveling, I have the computer - and I would like to use iChat on the computer...)

In iChat 4 you can have more than one AIM Valid name logged in at once.
AIM valid = AIM, @mac.com or a MobileMe name.
What you are then stuck with is that iChat is linked to one Buddy Picture and The one Mac User Account's Address Book which may or may not have Full Names, emails details, or a Nickname in iChat 4 linked to the Screen Names.
Whilst it does let you both log in whilst using one Mac User Account there are drawbacks about who uses the keyboard and reading meesages from the other persons Buddies.

  • Can I connect a 4 TB USB drive to the airport extreme and use it as a network drive for Time Machine

Can I connect a 4 TB USB drive to the airport extreme and use it as a network drive for Time Machine

Yes, if the drive is formatted in Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
The USB port on the Time Capsule is under powered, so you may need use a powered USB hub with the 4 TB drive...even if it has its own power supply.

  • How can i import tables from a different schema into the existing relational model... to add these tables in the existing model? plss help

how can i import tables from a different schema into the existing relational model... to add these tables in the existing relational/logical model? plss help
note; I already have the relational/logical model ready from one schema... and I need to add few more tables to this relational/logical model
can I import the same way as I did previously??
but even if I do the same how can I add it in the model?? as the logical model has already been engineered..
    please help ...
    thanks

    Hi,
Before you start, you should probably take a backup copy of your design (the .dmd file and associated folder), in case the update does not work out as you had hoped.
You need to use Import > Data Dictionary again, to start the Data Dictionary Import Wizard.
In step 1 use a suitable database connection that can access the relevant table definitions.
In step 2 select the schema (or schemas) to import.  The "Import to" field in the lower left part of the main panel allows you to select which existing Relational Model to import into (or to specify that a new Relational Model is to be created).
In step 3 select the tables to import.  (Note that if there are an Foreign Key constraints between the new tables and any tables you had previously imported, you should also include the previous tables, otherwise the Foreign Key constraints will not be imported.)
After the import itself has completed, the "Compare Models" dialog is displayed.  This shows the differences between the model being imported and the previous state of the model, and allows you to select which changes are to be applied.
Just selecting the Merge button should apply all the additions and changes in the new import.
Having updated your Relational Model, you can then update your Logical Model.  To do this you repeat the "Engineer to Logical Model".  This displays the "Engineer to Logical Model" dialog, which shows the changes which will be applied to the Logical Model, and allows you to select which changes are to be applied.
Just selecting the Engineer button should apply all the additions and changes.
I hope this helps you achieve what you want.

When I click on my Messages app I can see it for a brief moment and then the screen goes blank.  This happened to me last week and I Reset All Settings, which worked-but it has just happened again so that's not a long-term solution.

    Hello linslaf,
It may help to force close the Messages app, then restart the device.

When my iphone4 is under the locked mode, ipod can only play two songs at most, and then the system collapses, the screen is black and responds to no commends,  not until I restart the machine. but the ipod function can work well under the normal mode, is it any hardware problem? thank Q!!

Try doing a full reset. otherwise it sounds like you might want to walk it into the nearest Apple Store and get an opinion there.

  • IXXAT USB-to-CAN LabVIEW Drivers

    Hello;
Can anybody please point me to "IXXAT USB-to-CAN (PC\CAN Interface)"  LabVIEW Drivers ?
I have searched in the Net But I was not able to find LabVIEW Drivers.
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hello,
We have a USB to CAN compact device from IXXAT and we have build a labview driver according to the manual to communicate and read through the CANBus.I our PCB we have two sensors which are measuring the distance and transpose it into voltage, and we would like to read this voltage through the CANBus. Since we are able to reading through the CANBus we must transpose our data with use of an ADC because our data can be in HEX,BINARY,DECIMAL format and we must transpose them to voltage because that is our concern, So the questions are:
1)With the Vi we have build we are able to take the right messages through the CANBus?The name of the Vi we are using is named Read from Can.vi and is in the Zip file i am sending you
2)How we create the ADC to transpose our data in voltage? Is this possible?
3)Can provide us a solution for the above?
I am sending you the datasheet, a zip file with all the Vi's we have create according to the datasheet and another zip file which contains an ADC we create and a photo of the CAN message we are receiving
    Thank you in Advance

  • Can I have a tablespace spanning different drives?

    Hi,
I am on Oracle 8i (8.1.7). Can I have a tablespace which can store data in two different dbf files and both these directories reside in different drives?
Even if it can be done, are there any performance issues in this?
    Thanks in advance
    Manu

yes you can do. In fact, for data (tables) and index tablespaces it is recommended, for performance reasons. This is basically what RAID does, after all.
Bear in mind that there are probably no performance benefits to striping several tablespaces across the same two drives.

  • Can Time Machine Backup to Two Different Drives?

I have many Apple Computers, and I was wondering if it were possible to have time machine backup to two different drives.
I want it to back up My documents, Mail, and other files/folders that I access often to a partition of my internal drive every minute.
    And
I want it to back up Everything on my Mac to my external each night upon connecting it to my mac.
I take my MacBook everywhere with me and I need to make sure that the files I work on the most stay Perfectly Accessible no matter what, and I don't want to sacrifice too much space for that procedure. I would rather just be able to do constant backups of my most used files and folders, and then do a system backup each night to make sure I always have what is needed.

Let me add some more observations. I use two disks, one at home (its a mounted volume on another Mac at home) and the other is a portable disk that I attach to my MBP at work. This works fine.
About your details - TM backs up every hour. If you look around you'll find some posts that give instructions on changing the frequency (I haven't paid attention to these, so I can't help you). However, backing up to another partition on the same drive is not what I'd recommend. If the drive dies, you may lose both partitions.
As for doing constant backups of the most used files and at night doing a system backup - it seems to me you aren't "getting" TM. This sounds like the type of backup strategy one uses with "regular" backup software. I don't think I'd recommend backups every minute, but for short intervals, why not just do a default backup of everything. It doesn't really back up everything, just things that have changed. The only time it does a complete backup is the first time you use it with a specific drive. After that it no longer does complete backups, unless you reformat the drive and start from scratch.

  • Where can I download a Windows 7 64bit driver for the hp CDDVDW TS-L633N on my cpq60-615DX

    EDIT --
I neglected to say that I tried updating the driver from the Device Manager device window and the result was a message saying it could not find a newer driver, that the one installed was correct.
    Another EDIT
I also did not say that I  have uninstalled the device, through Device Manager. Upon restarting the system, the drive was found and software installed but the problem remains.
    Original message follows:
    System: CPQ60-615DX

In the process of installing some Roxio software, Creator 9, an unusable driver, are part of one, was installed. Now the device is not working.
When I didn't see on the list of devices on Windows Explorer, I went to Device Manager and found that it was flagged with the "problem" icon (exclamation  point on a yellow background).
The General Tab Device Status box contains"

It appears that the Creator install installed part of the driver but not one that functions. It might be a problem with Windows 7 or the fact that this install is 64 bits.
I have searched the HP site and can't find a driver for the device. When I look at the list of drivers available for this system, the optical drive is not shown.
I downloaded and installed the HP driver search program - or whatever it is called - and ran it. There were no devices listed on "Optical Drive" tab when I looked at the results - it could not "see" the drive.
I realize that what I need is probably a generic driver from MS, that's why one is not shown on the HP site, but how do I go about finding the right one for this device?
Is there a generic "one size fits all" driver for Windows 7 which can drive this device?
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

  • LaserJet 100 color MFP M175nw - how do I install a different driver on the server to which I RDP?

I have installed my LaserJet 100 color MFP M175nw on my (32-bit) Windows XP Pro SP3 PC via USB and it works fine.  When I make it the default printer (I also have another HP printer installed locally) and use Windows Remote Desktop (RDP) to my server - which is (64-bit) Windows Enterprise without Hyper-V SP2 (2008 R2) it prints but some fonts show gobbledygook. The printer driver on the server is defaulting to "terminal services easy print".  I have administrator privileges on the server and have, in the past, been able to download the appropriate driver to the server so that printing in the RDP session works.  But now I only seem to be able to find installation software to download (not the actual drivers).  So, when attempting to install the software (rather than copy it) on the server the installation waits for the local (USB) connection and won't proceed.
What is the best practices way to have the locally installed (fully functional) machine be able to print from an RDP session?  I'm sure I shouldn't have to drag each new local printer to the server and install it locally with a USB cable.

    Hi there IT _Mgr

  • You can't upgrade to a 7200rpm hard drive in the Early 2011 13" MacBook Pro. It is not supported. Period.

I tried unsuccesfully to upgrade the hard drive in my Early 2011 13" MacBook Pro to a 750GB 7200RPM hard drive. After several attempts with different hard drives I realized that the kernel panic that showed up was due to the lack of compatibility with the drives to the MacBook Pro. I had a Mid 2009 13" MacBook Pro that I did not have any issues with whatsoever. I sold that MacBook Pro and was able to upgrade to the brand new base model without any out of pocket cost. Upon purchase of the new 13" MBP I maxed out the RAM to the full 8GB. After 2 months of freezing, lockups, spinning rainbow wheels and having to force shutdown I tried one last ditch effort to see if a faster drive would help. After speaking with the Apple telephone reps and the Apple Store Genius Bar we discovered that Apple doesn't even offer the option of a 7200RPM drive on their website - a fact that I found quite disturbing. The concensus is that it is a power management issue that causes the incompatibility and the reason the drives are not offered on the 13" models. The problems I had were the end of the line for me. I just switched out that train wreck for the Early 2011 15" MacBook Pro base model. I got home and immediately installed the 750 GB 7200RPM Western Digital Scorpio Black hard drive and it was recognized within seconds. I'm back in business with gleeful abandon.

Sadly... they don't have all the answers. As someone who use to serve in the capacity (Mac Genius) it can definitely be a challenging position. You're "the voice" of Apple's service policy & procedures. Sounds like the person you spoke with got it wrong this time. It's definitely worth a follow up, because like I said, I've got a machine in my household that's living proof of compatibility between a 7200 RPM drive and 13" MBP (Early 2011).
Apple is very good about support documentation when there's incompatibility or unsupported configurations, the fact that there isn't one for 7200 RPM drives would tell me that the people/person you spoke with was misinformed.
I know I always appreciated when a customer made it known to me that I was wrong on something and supplied the right answer. I sure as heck don't have all the answers and if I can lead from my mistakes, well, I won't make them anymore.
