Can labview generate an executable that works on Window CE?

I have NI Developer Suite. I heard that PDA module can generate an executabel that works on Windows CE. Is that true and is that add on included in NI developer suite? Thanks

The PDA module is now known as the Mobile module and you are correct, it supports Pocket PC 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0. This link should help:

You will have to get the Mobile Module Deployment Option along with the Dev Suite that you purchase to get the LabVIEW Mobile Module.

Why would you want to try to program a doubly-charged carbon ion (C++), anyway? It's just going to find an oxygen ion or aromatic ring to react with, no matter what you do. Are there any MP players that work on Windows 98?

I want to buy my neice a MP3 player for her birthday but she only has Windows 98 and won't be upgrading anytime soon. I wanted to get her a shuffle but I don't think it works on Windows 98. The specs say Windows 2000 and up.

There are probably some other MP3 players that work on Windows 98... You might want to drop in to your local Best Buy / Circuit City (or some electronics store like that) and see what they have.

I would like to buy a HP printer that works with Windows 8 preview.

Understand that HP will not release drivers for existing printers until August at earliest and that is OK....I have 3 HP Laserjet 1020s that have been great and will buy a new HP printer if it will work now with Windows 8 preview. Any suggestions or any fixes/patches for 1020 that work. Also interested in any non-HP printers that work with Windows 8 preview? Prefer HP but will buy first printer that works from any mfg. as I would like to give Windows 8 a real try. Believe HP is missing boat by not putting a patch out for some of their printers as soon as possible as I am not the only HP user looking to buy any printer that works with Windows 8.

You should be aware that the PDA module does not support many features which are available in the desktop version of LV. Try reading the documentation available on this site. If you want this, I suggest you wait for version 8, which appears to be much better in some areas.

With the upgrade to Lion Kismac has stopped working. The application worked fine with Snow Leopard, is there a driver patch to correct this behavior or revert the driver to one that worked?

Yes OS X was updated. Now you need to make sure you have a version of the software tha'll work with it. Check with the vendor, follow QuickTimeKirks' link.

Can't get quick time to work with windows thumbnail

When I purchased a new camera, unlike my old camera that saved files as .avi and which allowed me to use the files with all software and which allowed me to view automatically the thumbnails for the .avi file, my new camera used the garbage .mov from apple. Result: i can't see what the files contains... NO thumbnails in windows! I was told to buy QUick time Pro to be apple to do this. I did what the quicktime "help" (misnomer) said to do: set poster frame, resave the file (try to save it as is, or as quick time mover). THIS DIDN'T WORKED. There was Ø supplementary information. The only thing that works is MANUALLY converting all my .mov from the camera to .avi using quicktime pro. I paid CAD$39 FOR absolutely NOTHING. Any suggestions?

Is there a version of flash player that works on windows mobile 6.5?

Forgive me if this question shows my ignorance but is there a version that can be installed that works with wm6.5? When I visit web pages on my device that have embedded flash content I am advised that I need to update my version of flash player but the link takes me to an Adobe page that doesn't seem to have a version that will work for my device.

I've been reading lately about Apple's ongoing battle with Adobe over mobile apps and Flash. What I've gotten from all of it is that Apple wants to develop a mobile format replacement to Flash, and Adobe wants to block it. Apple's contention is that Flash is too bulky and consumptive for mobile apps and content. Apple has barred any mobile apps for iPhone and iPad from containing any Flash code, and Adobe says that has hurt their development of SDKs for people who want to make iPhone apps. It's turned into a regular peeing contest.
I would have to assume that Apple iPhone, DROID, and Windows Mobile all have the same issue with Flash content and software, since they all have to fall within the standards for mobile communications in order to be "universally accessible" by all the companies that make PDAs, tablets, and phones.
I've yet to see a Flash Player download for Windows Mobile, and given the current environment, with HTML 5 coming soon, it's not likely I will.

I can't get elements 6 to work on Windows 8

First ; Even if I delete the current program and reinstall, I can not get past the serial numbers , although they are correct. There is some of the programs loaded, but there isn't any way to recognize any new photos (no bar) . There is not any automatic download or search function. Looks like I need a new installation that is compatible with the program from hell-Windows 8. Thanks, WJD

It is doubtful that you will get that old of a version of Photoshop Elements to work on the latest in operating systems. In the least you would need to engage the compatibility mode, but that might not help still.

Looking for an application that works like windows photo gallery?

I switched to Mac and love it except for photos.
I basicly upload a batch of photos to a folder named temp, then tag each photo and drag them to their appropriate folders an eventually delete said folder, is there any application that works like this? Minus iPhoto,picasa,lightroom or adobe bridge?

Then I tag or name the person and drag them to albums but the event stats there.
I presume you mean the Event "stays" there.
Like iTunes, iPhoto is a database that works on a Library principle. All items are in the Library, each playlist is a subset of the Library.
So in iPhoto, all Photos are in the Library and each Album is a subset of the Library.
Events are just a view of the Library, broken by the date and time the pics were taken. Don't want to see them? Click on the Photos heading for a view of the Library as a single unit, not broken into Events.
And I have to import the Photis everytime, why cAnt I add photos to pictures directory and iPhoto will see them?
Because you might not want everything in your Pictures Folder in iPhoto.
But seriously: How much more difficult is it to drag the photos to
the iPhoto icon in the Dock
or
the iPhoto Window
or
use the File -> Import command
than to drag the photos to the Pictures Folder?
