Rather than dragging anything, try opening the file into phooshop
elements 8 File>Open. Or do you have both files open in pse8
and just can't drag between documents in pse8.

FWIW, your profile shows that you are already on Lion - did you buy Mountain Lion?
If you purchase an OS from the Mac App Store, it will be listed under your Purchases and will be available to download again if you need it. Note: the license is only for you and is not transferable; if you sell your Mac, you must uninstall it and reinstall the original system.
If you did buy Lion - out of curiosity - since it is no longer showing in the app store, how did you buy it there? Or did you call Apple and they sent you a redemption code?

(Woggledog, I think the OP is trying to find out the date the files were copied from the Mac, not to the Mac.)
If you are trying to determine when you transferred the files +without access to the PC that they were transferred to+, you are out of luck, I'm afraid. There's no log for that information. If you can access the PC the files were transferred to, the created/accessed dates on the PC will reflect the move. But I suspect you can't access that computer, which is why you're seeking a log of some sort...
How did you move the files? If you used a flash drive, for example, and still have that, check there...even if the files were deleted from the drive, they may be recoverable.

Can't update iphone until purchases are transfered

Alrighty, here's the scoop:
Today, I got a iPhone 4 today to replace my 3GS. Before I can plug and load my iP4, I need to update my 3GS, BUT my 3GS keeps getting a pop up that there are purchases that need to be transfered ..... or will be lost. (this is why I havent updated the 3GS, because I can't find what need to be transfered.)
Ive gone thru itunes and made sure that all music, apps, ringtones, movies etc.... are checked and available (except photos, because there is NO ROOMfor all my comp pics).
I've hit the sync button which goes thru the whole process.
I've done File -> Transfer Purchases which appears to be working successfully. And then I try to Update and I get the same message. Over and over again. This is one reason why I havent updated since Sept (the other reason is that ALMOST 3000 SONGS DISSAPPEARED a couple of times and twice it wiped out about all my contacts about 200!!!!)
I my iphone is essential for my work and I can not loose everything again.
Luckily I am off work because I have pnuemonia (I never thought I'd say that!)
Please help me figure this out.

Okay, I've transfered all my pics and used Touch Copy to back up everything from my 3GS. So now, when I plug 3GS in and lokk to see that everything that everything is correct for 3GS on iTunes, I notice that ringtones, music, apps... everything is now "unchecked" and when I "check" them i get a pop up that asks if I'm sure i want to do that because it will replace erase and replace eveything with content from my library.
(Earlier, I almost said BLEEP IT and allowed it to erase and sync, but I had 2nd thoughts. I then double double checked and did Touch Copy again which found about 260 songs that hadn't been copied the first time.)
Luckily I can make calls and texts on my iphone 4, which has been activated, but I dont dare sync it yet.

OK, at least 3 is working.
I don't know how you have a Tape Recorder icon on your Home Screen. I cannot add one myself. But, I am running Holo Launcher in replacement of the default LG "Optimus" User Interface. It's much better in my opinion.
Try long pressing the icon and select Edit and maybe you can change some attribute of the icon.
Another thing you could do, is long-press an empty area of your desktop, to add an icon. Select Shortcut, then Select Contact, and scroll through your contact list and choose the contact that you added for *86.
You realize if you have voice mail you haven't heard, there is a tape recorder icon in the notification bar, which you touch and pull down, then press it to dial voicemail.
If that functionality doesn't work, you MIGHT want to consider doing a factory data reset on your device, but that is going to nuke all your personalizations and cause you work to set up again.

Well, it seems waiting is not my strong suit..! I renamed a javascript file called recovery to sessionstore. This file was in the folder sessionstore-backups I had copied from mozilla 3 days ago, when my tabs were still in place. I replaced the sessionstore in mozilla's default folder with the renamed file and then started mozilla. And the tabs reappeared as they were 3 days ago!
So there goes the tab problem. But again when I started mozilla the window saying "a script has stopped responding" appeared, this time the script being: chrome//browser/contenttabbrowser.xml2542
If someone knows how to fix this and make firefox launch normally, please reply! Thank you

I solved MY corrupt firmware file problem!
A little background- I deleted all Apple, iPod, and QuickTime software from my desktop PC and reloaded iTunes for the (I don't know how many) time. Same thing! Downloaded it again and used the "erase iTunes" option then reloaded again and had the same result. I then cranked up my old laptop and when I got to the Apple website, I was offered an opportunity to download QuickTime and took it. It came with iTunes if I wanted, so I took that too. After the download, I plugged in the Nano and it restored to Windows format. I did not want it to sync to the laptop, so I took it to the desktop and was able to sync with Nano and downloaded my tunes. TALK ABOUT HOKEY!
WHY does the restore program have to be resident on MY PC or MAC anyway? Seems like I could just as simply download a current copy from Apple every time I want to restore.
WHY doesn't Apple do something about this problem and let users know about the solution? Do they not want to grab a share of the Windows business? Here is an excellent opportunity!
Now for my question.
HOW can I get a GOOD copy of the iTunes software for my desktop? I now know it works! Is there a hidden file or folder I should delete before I make my next attempt to cleanup and download? Why isn't this information public?
I spent over 30 years in the DP industry. PC is not my area of expertise, but this must be the most frustrating experience of my years.

The iPhone is not a backup device.
Restore the iTunes library from the backup that should be kept of your media and other important files.
Syncing the iPhone to a new library (in this case, it will be a new library unless you have a complete backup of the iTunes folder pre-crash) will result in the media on the device being removed and replaced with content from the new library.
As for iOS5, we really do not know until Apple officially releases it.

Are you sure PDF won't work? It should as what you're trying to do is pretty much what it is designed for (PDF - Portable Document Format). On a Mac anywone who receives the file should be able to see it in all its page layout glory by using the app Preview or Adobe Reader. Same on a PC, the file should be viewable as a PDF file using Adobe Reader and probably some other viewer (don't use PCs so not sure what other apps).
What application are you creating the file in and are you sure you're exporting it correctly in PDF format, fonts and images embedded?
