Can log in to Store on IPhone but NOT on iTunes Mac.....same account

I recently changed the email address and name attached to my account.
I also removed the only credit card that was linked to the card, selecting the 'None' option.
I could log in to the App Store from iPhone 4.
I could NOT log in to ITunes Store or my Account from iTunes on Mac (snow leopard); I was told that I had not verified my account; when i pressed 'OK' for an explanation, I was told that I had verified the account!!
I then logged on to my account via the Apple website; no problems. I noticed that there were TWO email addresses attached to me! Both email addresses were the same! Identical! The secondary account was marked as 'Verified'; the primary account was NOT.
I deleted the secondary account, and requested a new verification email for the primary. I thought this might sort all the problems out.
Unfortunately the verification email has not yet arrived (after 12 hours and several retries).
Can anyone suggest a way forward? Am loth to kill account and begin again as all Apps etc would need to be replaced!!!

iTunes will only transfer purchases back to your computer using the iTunes > File > Transfer purchases from XXX's iPhone. It will not transfer playlists or non-purchased songs.

Podcast PDF's showing up on iPhone but not desktop iTunes

Our church publishes a podcast from Sermon Studio (studio.sermon.net). We include mp3 audio and a PDF with message notes. These PDFs show up in the Podcasts iPhone app but not in iTunes under subscribed podcasts. Any idea why?

Oh, I forgot to mention that music seems to automatically download just fine whenever I buy a song off of my iPhone. Another thing is, the movies were all bought off of my iPhone.

ICal Server - User can log in from iPhone but not from Desktop Mac

I've got quite the peculiar problem with iCal Server on OS X 10.6.6 - my users can log in and access the shared calendars using their iPhones. When I set up an the same account on their desktop Macs in iCal, I get an error message "The server did not recognize your user name or password for account <username@servername>".
I'm positive that username and password are correct. The only thing I found about that in the log files was that the CalDAV server returns a 201 HTTP status code when accessing the account from the iPhone vs. a 407 status code when using iCal on their desktop Mac. The same accounts are used for Email, File Sharing and Address book, all of which run fine.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Maybe even solved it?

Solved it myself - there was a non-ASCII character in the account password. Strange that the iPhone didn't have a problem with that while iCal did. Now that I've changed the password to contain only ASCII characters, the problem is gone.

Music works on iPhone but not on iTunes

A really good chunk of my music doesn't work on iTunes anymore - I'll try to play it but get the message that iTunes can't find the file. It definitely still works on my iPhone, but I'm afraid to sync because I'm worried that what music does work on the iPhone will stop working when it syncs with iTunes.
What can I do to get the music that works on my phone back onto iTunes? I probably haven't synced the two since maybe the holiday season; I don't remember how long this has been happening, but it's not new.

I figured out how to remedy this last night. I had to pull my music off of my iPhone since it was no longer on my hard drive -- I used a free program called [Senuti|http://www.fadingred.org/senuti> to transfer the music (note: you have to download the Beta, which is linked at the bottom of the page, for it to work with an iPhone).
The program's website has instructions on how to do the transfer without your phone syncing to your computer (which might delete the music from your phone that's missing in iTunes).
Senuti works by figuring out which music is already on your computer, and copying any music that isn't already there. The problem with this is that all of your music is listed in iTunes even though the files aren't there, so Senuti won't copy anything without some extra steps first.
I had to delete all the songs in my iTunes library (from within iTunes -- and make sure you choose to *keep the files* on your hard drive).
Then in iTunes, I chose *File >> Add To Library...* (or Command + O). By default my iTunes Music folder was already chosen, but you might have to navigate to it and then click "Open."
This will add the files that you do have back into your library. After this, use Senuti and it will copy over all of the missing files from your iPhone to your computer.

Two copies of the same album on iPhone (but not in iTunes library) ?

Something very wierd is going on...
In my iTunes library there are 2 albums which appear to be duplicated on my iPhone.
In my iTunes library there is only one copy of the following two albums...
1. Armin Van Buuren - Imagine (11 tracks)
2. Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (10 tracks)
Yet on my iPhone these 2 albums are duplicated.
When viewing on the iPhone in coverflow, the albums appear as...
1. Armin Van Buuren - Imagine (11 tracks)
2. Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (10 tracks)
3. Armin Van Buuren - Imagine (11 tracks)
4. Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (10 tracks)
Even stranger, when viewing in Album view (phone held in potrait mode) one album appears 3 times...

And the other album appears 2 times...

See One cover, too many tracks and One album, too many covers. A tiny spelling discrepancy in the Artist or *Album Artist* field is making one part of the iPod app see two copies of the album, the *Greatest Hits* "bug" then gives each copy of the album all of the tracks rather than just those with the matching value of Artist/Album Artist.

Can't update apps, can't log into App Store on iPhone but can on my PC??

Since using my iPhone 5s I cannot update apps anymore.
I get the notification that "cannot update app at the moment".
I tried logging out and into the app store through the settings but after logging out I now can't log in there anymore.
My account is fine as on my PC/internet it still works fine.
Can anyone help?

Facetime on my Mac sets up properly, links to my contacts, and appears to make calls (i.e., it "rings"). But it doesn't actually connect to the other person. However, I can make Facetime calls on my phone. Huh?

The MBP runs under OSX, the iPhone under iOS, two different operating systems. If you have 10.6.8 or later on your MBP, the go to the App Store and download what you want for the MBP.

My album covers are messed up on the Iphone, but not one Itunes....

I don't know what's going on, but basically, alot of the albums/artists have the wrong album covers...ie, I see an album using another artist's album cover, sometimes for more than one artist. I can have up to 3 different albums all using the same image, but in itunes, the artwork is correct.
Only in my iphone is it messed up...any solutions? Thanks.

I had a similar problem to you that I have since solved.
At first only some albums/songs were missing artwork but they all showed up fine in itunes. I went into itunes and did the view where the album art is displayed next to the album in a list, middle option for viewing. I found that on several 1-2 songs did not have the artwork attached and so that was the cause of it not showing up on my iphone. However after I got all that solved I found that the artworks were all messed up. Much like you described many songs had the complete wrong artwork and some songs on the same album had different artworks or the same artwork showed up on multiple albums.
I could only come up with resyncing my iphone to solve it. I only use one playlist for my iphone so that I can sort of do manual management and only have to deal with one playlist. So I unchecked the playlist and did a sync to clear off all the audio. Then I rechecked the playlist and did a sync to reload everything and after that was done everything appeared correctly.
I didn't notice if this was affecting any of my purchased albums, I don't have that many so I didn't think about it but affected a lot of them. I hope this helps in some way and that you can get it working again.

Voice Memo on iPhone but Not in iTunes or TouchCopy

Recorded a 9 minute memo on 1/14/2010. Too large to email. Sync to iTunes 9.0.2.25 on Windows XP Pro, with "Include voice memos" checked but can't find it in the phone's "Voice Memos" folder, can't see it in Music Library, and even TouchCopy can't see it. Only shows up on the phone itself.

Note in the original post that I already checked "Include voice memos." I should have not had the dangling modifier and said:
