- If you previously turned on the FIndMyiPod feature and location service is on, and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud, sign in, and go to FindMyiPhone. It the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- Report to police and change the passwords fro all accounts used on the iPod.

You can't track it with the serial number. If you had an iPod Touch running iOS 5 later AND set up Find my IPod on it, then there is a chance you might be able to locate it by going to www.icloud.com, logging in with your Apple ID and clicking Find my IPod. Of course, the iPod still needs to be on and connected to a Wi-Fi network in order for it to be located.
If nothing else, report it to the police and change any and all passwords to any accounts you set up or used on the iPod.
Apple otherwise cannot help you.

No. The SN will only help identify the iPod as yours if it is recovered.

Change your iTunes password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them. -

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords. -
After a problem with photoshop cs6 (CTRL+T stopped the application with an error message and closed the window), we uninstall it.

If you did not deactivate the software before uninstalling then you should remember to do that in the future should you decide to uninstall again. If you contact Adobe support thru chat they can help with deactivating the original installation.

Can a person determine if an Ipod was reregestered with same serial number
My son lost his Ipod 3 weeks ago. We did go online to find my Ipod, and did ask to have it lock, play a sound, and display a message that this ipod is lost and a reward is offered for the return. It still has not turned up, but we are still looking for it. After reviewing the discussion boards, I am wondering if we can tell if a person reset it to the factory settings and reregistered it or are using the same serial number under a different name.
