Can MacbookPro7, 1 Version 10.6.8 get an 10.7.5 upgrade?

I have a MacbookPro 7, 1 purchased in Summer of 2010 that I would like to get the 10.7.5 update. I bought a game and it only works on operating systems 10.7.5 or higher. I did all the software updates possible on my macbook and it is still at a 10.6.8. What do I do to get the required operating system. Please help!

You can call the Mac App Store and get a redemption code for Lion (10.7.x) or Mountain Lion (10.8.x) - $20 each - or you can download the free Mavericks. You should be warned, though that either three of the latest upgraded will disable any software that is Rosetta friendly so before doing any upgrade (check with Running Apps).
If there are any applications that will only run under 10.6.8/Rosetta, think twice about upgrading fro a single game.

If I have no music on my iTunes at all and no music on my computer, hard drive or any other version of storage yet there is a playlist on my iPhone. While my iPhone is plugged into my PC and my iTunes is up, is there a way to swap my playlist from my iPhone to my iTunes? Directly? Without downloading some new media source or backing up my old media source from my history. The reason everything was deleted (iTunes and media source) was due to the size of everything and space it was requiring. I am simply trying to get 233 songs from A to B.

As for moving you itunes library, just copy the entier iTunes storage folder to the exterior drive. user/MyDocuments/Music/iTunes

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Open App Store > Purchases, and see if iPhoto app is listed. If not, unhide it > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928 Apart from that, check that iPhoto is in Applications folder. If not, put it in this folder.
If nothing works, remove iPhoto, open App Store > Purchases, and install iPhoto free of charge

My netbook is about 2 years old and came with firefox and linux. It has only been used for internet browsing and has been great......but now firefox version2 is out of date and sites such as facebook are not useable. It suggests i update to a newer version of firefox. I can find version 3.6 or 4 easily, download it but when I go to open it theres no run or prompts of how to install. Open Terminal
1 - wget http://rpms.famillecollet.com/remi-release-8.rpm
2 - sudo rpm -Uvh remi-release-8.rpm
3 - sudo mousepad /etc/yum.repos.d/remi.repo
Make sur that in remi section enabled value = 1 and in test section enabled value= 0
4 - sudo rpm -e --nodeps firefox
5 - sudo yum install firefox

The last version of Firefox would go to a choice box when a new screen came up. I can't figure out how to get that feature back in Firefox 4

So I updated the itunes and now it won't open it, it states a message "the itunes library.itl" cannot be open because it was created by a newer version of itunes, I have unistalled and re-installed newer and older version and still i get this message.

You can download the trial version (http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html) to convert the PDF back to WORD if you do not have the original. The conversion may not be perfect, but it is typically better than starting from scratch. You may be lucky and get a good result. You might check the settings (in the save screen) to try retain format versus retain text flow. The format version can be a pain to edit since it creates a bunch of text boxes. The flow version may require you to reformat in WORD, but you likely would want to do that anyway.

This issue can be caused by the presence of leftover files in the Firefox program folder (defaults\pref) like a file firefox.js that overrides the update URL with a wrong link.
Do a clean reinstall and be sure to remove the Firefox program folder.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.

If you can't reinstall Firefox yourself then you need to contact your IT department and ask them to check the Firefox installation.
