Can ME 3600x enable oam on vlan not EVC ?
I see this document http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/metro/me3600x_3800x/software/release/15.2_4_S/configuration/guide/swoam.html.
Switch(config)# ethernet cfm domain abc level 3
Switch(config-ecfm)# service test vlan 5
but I not see vlan command:
me3600-1(config-ecfm)#ser test ?
evc Specify EVC
port DOWN service direction with no vlan association
me3600-1(config-ecfm)#
so I used the same IOS:

Can ME 3600x enable oam on vlan not EVC ?
Thank you very much.
Thanks Cadet, but unfortunately the VLAN Database is not available and neither is the the VTP; which is the reason for this post.
I switched to enable mode with no success and if u check the commands attachment, you'll see that there are no VLAN and VTP exec commands. Was there any bug in this version of IOS? And I can't downgrade it to 12.2 or upgrade to 12.4.
Thanks for your assistance in this.

Logout does not work in OIM after enabling OAM SSO
We have installed a webgate to protect xlWebApp in OIM. Once the SSO is enabled, the logout does not work in the OIM user interface. How to solve this issue?
Metalink has a solution where we need to add document.location="http://host:port/access/oblix/lang/en-us/logout.html"; in xlWebApp\tiles\tjspLogoffTiles.jsp. This is the logout URL of OAM. Is there any other way so we can have a logout page in the OIM application/server itself?
Thanks.Kevin,
I did what you suggested and initially it looked like it is working but there is slight issue. When I click Logout, it redirects to the logout screen. After logging out when I try to access xlWebApp it prompts for the login (i am using basic authentication). If I cancel it and again try to access xlWebApp, it lets me in without any prompt. This issue is in IE only but not in Firefox. Not sure what's the issue.
Btw, to make the logout screen work, I had to unprotect the following with None Authentication:
- /xlWebApp/pages/logout.html (logout page)
- /xlWebApp/images
- /xlWebApp/css/Xellerate.css
- /xlWebApp/css/style.css
Thanks.

How do I move files from my iMac to my Airport without getting 'AirPort can not be modified' message. File sharing is enabled and I'm not getting asked for a password. Thanks
What OS are you running.. this is usually only a problem in Mavericks.
If so I recommend you mount the hard disk manually..
Use Go, Connect to server.
Type in the IP address if static.. eg
AFP://10.0.1.1
Or the name.. but you will have issues unless the name is short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.. if you are using bad names.. fix it by a full factory reset in airport utility and give it all names that comply to the above.
Type in
AFP://TCname.local Where TCname is replaced with the actual name.
You will be asked for the password the first time which is public unless you changed it.. please remember to save this in the keychain.
Copy files then to a new directory you create on the TC.. do not place files inside the TM sparsebundle. Nor directly under the main directory. -
I can't drag files from iTunes to my iphone 5, I get an alert that says files can't be copied because I have iTunes Match enabled but I do not have iTunes M
Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.
10.6 software is not downloadable. You must purchase a DVD disc. You can order it from the on-line apple store

Jumbo Frame - Enabling on a VLAN of CAT 6500 running IOS
Jumbo frames needs to be enabled on one of the vlan interface on Cisco 6500 IOS Switch.
=================================================================
•1) Once enabled the mtu 9216 on the required vlan interface do we need to reload the switch to take effect (I believe that in some low end swicthes it needs a reload)
•2) If we enable only one Vlan interface, how about the other vlan interfaces(about 200 are on this switch)? Do we need to specify mtu1500 on other vlan interfaces?
I have read information at the following two links, but I still wish to reconfirm by asking the questions in this forum. Someone who has already implemented this may have gained more experience while implementing it on CAT 6500 IOS Switch.

Thanks.
AlphonseYou do not need to reboot your 6500 after you enable jumbo frames, but it is good idea to do it during an outage window. You only need to reboot smaller switches i.e. 3560, 3750, etc...after enabling jumbo frames. On these switches you can only enable it globally. Only enable jumbo frames for the vlans you need. You usually need jumbo frames for vlans connecting to the storage systems.
Good Luck -
How can I re-enable a disabled Ipad from my computer?
By not allowing enough time to reset, do you mean you have tried a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignoring the red slider? If so, are you able to power down just using the power button? Does it then restart on its own?
If you cannot get it to reboot, stay powered down, take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians test it to see what is wrong...that is most likely a hardware issue. -
I can not save any data to external hard drive from my mac pro. Is there anyone can help me in this regard?( note, when i first plug my ext. drive to mac i chose option to backup later)
The device may be formatted for Windows, as NTFS. The format is readable, but not natively writable on a Mac. To write to the device, you must either reformat it (erasing all the contents) or install third-party software to enable write access to NTFS.

I have installed ios7 on my iPad 4. After installation it asked me a pass code which I have never set. After multiple attempts it is disabled. I don't have backup on my iCloud or iTunes. Is there anyone who can help to enable it or to reverse iPad to ios6. I asked Apple store & tech said to format it but I will lose all the data..!
Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Is there a way to stop iPhoto storing my photo stream photos on the mac hard drive when enabled? They have not been imported to my library. Is there a way to stop iPhoto storing my photo stream photos on the mac hard drive when enabled? They have not been imported to my library. I have no photos saved on my MacBook Air yet 50gb of Hardrive space is taken up by photos. When I turn off photo stream on iCloud preferences the memory is freed up. I like to be able to access my icloud photo streams on
my macbook but it has a small Hardrive and loosing that much space is annoying and it kind of voids the point of photo streams. Is there a way I can stop
this ?Is there a way I can stop
this ?
No, Photo Stream is syncing with iCloud. The most recent 1000 photos in iCloud will be buffered on your mac, even if you do not import them to your photo library, if you enable My Photo Stream.
See this link: iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
iCloud pushes all your photos to the My Photo Stream album on your devices and computers, and manages them efficiently, so you don’t run out of storage space. -

Enable User task is not getting triggered
Hi All
We have a provisioning workflow configured. "Enable User" task is not getting triggered while the user is enabled in OIM. Can anyone give a clue as to how to get it triggerd? Rest all the tasks are fine (Create, Disable, Delete, and other custom tasks)
Thanks,
VinayThere is a OOTB scheduled Task "Enable After Start Date". once the user get enabled in OIM user profile. You have to run this task manually to have effect on corresponding RO for enablement. Else it will execute automatically as per scheduled time.

I can open pdf files in emails, but not on websites. I have the new Reader.
I can open pdf files in emails, but not on websites, as I was able to a couple of weeks ago. On websites I get the message, "Adobe Acrobat has crashed". I downloaded the new Adobe Reader and that didn't help. I don't have Adobe Acrobat, on Adobe Reader.
Windows 7, Google Chrome and the most recent Adobe Reader (just downloaded the same day). The problem is with Google Chrome, as Fire Fox works fine. I tried enabling and disabling what would read pdf files in Chrome plugins and found that the only thing that worked was to disable adobe reader and enable chrome reader, which is the opposite of what was reccomended in answer to other adobe forum questions that were similar to mine.
