Can more 4 events trigger a single workflow?

Can anyone tell me if more 4 events can trigger a single workflow? In Workflow Builder Basic Data Start Events tab, seems only allow maximum 4 events to start a workflow. If can, please tell me how. Much appreciate your help.

Can a single workflow be triggered for multiple business objects. We already have a workflow which triggers when there is error in the document. Can we use same workflow for other objects (Opportunity, lead etc..) or do we have to create separate workflows for each objects?

Yes you check.Check the business object by passing test data in the function module.
check with import and export parameters and check with the business object with the transaction
after testing of business object check the status at transaction swel for event trace.

Workflow custom event trigger

Hi experts,
I have inherited zbus2030 from bus2030 and also i have delegated it. Now i am using custom event zcreated in my workflow. The linkage is active and exists in swetypv transaction. But the event is not getting triggered through VA11 transaction. If i trigger through SWUe transaction,. It is getting triggered.
Can anyone please guide me what my problem is??

I think you had to use the Super type Business object and your enhanced event.
- start the event log using SWELS
- execute your transaction which should raise the event.
- use transaktion SWEL to look which event was really raised. Use this event in SWDD (small hat in top bar) start events.
- dont forget to activate !

I sometimes think differently. I also think like what this person is asking..(although I have installed and administering 5 different RAC databases)
The main doubt of mine is that we create multiple instances accessing the same storage area.
Anyway the controlfiles of all instances will have the same information except the instance_names and instance id's.
Hence I always think , why can't it be possible to to create another instance in the same system and point it to a controlfile which is copied from the other instance.
Why can't the same files be shared between the two instances in a same system ?
I know I am thinking a little bit confusing...
Anyway I need to test that also...

How more than one MDB can be made to run in single transaction

I am working on EJB 2.0 with Application server as Websphere 5.0 and Messaging middleware as WebSphere MQ5.3
I am facing a design issue, I need to use more than one MDB in single transaction unit. Since an MDB can only run in transaction started by itself I am looking for some alternative approach
The problem in detail is as below:
Consider there is an MDB M1 listening on Queue Q1
Bean M1 reads Message (say msg1) from Q1, writes another message into Q2.
We have a mainframe system which reads message from Q2 does some processes and write it's response into Queue Q3.
Now we have another MDB M2 in same application server listening on Q3.
The requirement is if there is any ERROR in message at Q3, transaction started by MDB M1 should be rolled back and hence the message (i.e msg1) should be put back on queue.
Since trancation started by MDB M1 and M2 are independent I do not have any control to rollback M1 from M2.
Pls suggest me what alternative approach I can use.

"required" then MDB M-1 and MDB M-2
should have same container transaction.

Can I link multiple iPhoto Events into a single slide show?

I keep iPhoto Events based upon date and activity. For example a European trip my be 3-4 events with one per country. I also have Applw TV. My question is can I link multiple Events into a single sideshow. I have a lot of pictures, so doing this selection at the picture level will be tedious at best.

Not sure where you are going but my suggestion is not to work at the photo level - you simply select all of the photos in an event and create an album then drag all of the photos in each other event to that album giving you an album with all of the photos from the desired events in one place - then sleect them and make a slideshow - no working with indivitual photos at all

One of the function is to run or schedule a report.
Write a simple Java program, which will look at the server and point to run the report you wanted.

I do understand that you have a lot of clips that you want to group by various subjects, like vacation, etc. That's a perfect job for keywords, which perhaps is what you used when you named them?
If you did use keywords, go to that TL Index and click Tag at the top and then the keyword icon at the bottom. It should give you a list of only clips in that category. Select clip from the menu and it should highlight them. You could then copy and paste them to a new project for export. Repeat as necessary.
If you're going to do a lot of these, I'd suggest doing this from the event browser, applying keywords and then the clips into separate projects. But there are always more than one way to do things, and to each his/her own.
Again, I don't have any idea how long your footage is and whether it is even possible (or desirable) to fit it on to a single DVD. I mentioned iDVD because of its menu and sub menu capabilities. You will need another app like Compressor to do the chapter makers (unless Apple updates FCP before you finish your project and adds that capability. That would be nice,)

it appears following error.
FRM-40735: WHEN-CUSTOM-ITEM-EVENT trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-06502.
No error logged in java console client side.
I've try to re-compile webutil_demo.fmb
Unattaching and then re-attaching the plsql library webutil.pll to forms using a 11g Forms Builder (instead of earlier version) and then loading the form to the server and compiling form but error still exist.
Will you please help to give any suggestion?
Is there any trace can be enabled to find some more details?

Start transaction SWETYPV and you will see the linkage between event and workflow.
In transaction SWUD you can simulate events to see whether the workflow starts without any errors.
In transaction SWELS you can start an event trace to see which events have been raised. Later on you can review this log using transaction SWEL.

Problem to trigger PO Release Workflow

Hello experts,
I am working in a workflow to release PO.For this I have copied the standard workflow template wf_po_rel(20000075).
In my custom workflow I have used RELEASESTEPCREATED
of BUS2012 object as triggring event(as like the standard workflow).
Now when I am creating a new PO the workflow is not being triggred.But I am receiving a message in my workspace inbox with title:Error in event receiver.
And the body is as given below.
Error processing following event linkage:
BUS2012 RELEASESTEPCREATED WS99900005
Following error occurred:
SWF_RUN 594
Message text:
Import container contains errors (are any obligatory elements missing?)
Event container appended as attachment.
Event linkage with errors deactivated.
Can anyone suggest what to do to recover the problem and successfully trigger the workflow.

I have gone to SWE2 transaction in 200 client.
There I saw that the corresponding type linkage was unchecked.I double click the row and check the Linkage Activated check box and save that.After that I check the start event tab of my workflow template and that is active now.
But when I create a new PO in 200 client the workflow has not been triggred.But a message has been received in my inbox from Workflow-System...

Sales order creation, standard event trigger is taking long time .

We have a requirement where we are sending data to CRM system using RFC function module. This data is sent while sales order creation or change. We have used standard event BUS2032.CREATED to trigger CRM FM in sales order creation mode. In sales order change mode, we are using custom event. In production system, our custom change event is getting triggered fine and data is sent to CRM system with small time lag of around 1 minute. But, while sales order creation, standard event trigger is taking long time ( sometimes about 20 minutes) in production system.
We tried triggering same custom event at the time of sales order creation using FM u2018SWE_EVENT_CREATE_IN_UPD_TASKu2019 as well but, still we are not able to improve performance of the event trigger at sales order creation.

we have written SWE_EVENT_CREATE in update task
I think instead of calling in update task simply call to function module CALL FUNCTION "SWE_EVENT_CREATE" might trigger the event immediately.. Did you try to check in this way..
OR
And I also suggest you to check the entry in SWE2 txn with respect to your workflow tempalte, may be you have enable the option ENABLE EVENT QUEUE, this could be one of the reasons.. If it is enabled please disable it (uncheck)

Adding multiple events to a single ics Calendar file

I'm facing a weird problem here. Whenever I generate an ics file with a single event and open it, the event automatically integrates nto my outlook calendar. That's very fine. However, when i add more than 1 event to a single ics file, and when i open it,
it creates a new calendar in Outlook, doesn't integrate into my default outlook calendar. Please help me with this issue.....

I am beginner in MVC and I would like to create a view which populates two (or more) joined tables in a single view table as described below.
I have two tables:
1 - Bloggers: - bloggerID (int);

A blogger can have one or more blogs while one blog must be related to only one blogger.

From your description, it is not very clear that what you mean about the View, if it means the View concept in database as SQL Server, your required view should be as below:

Can Windows Server Backup spread a single backup job across multiple disks if they are not set up as a virtual disk?

This may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find any definitive information after having done many, many searches. Short question is - can Windows Server Backup spread a single backup job across multiple disks if they are not in a storage
pool or some other RAID/JBOD structure?
Background:
I'm running Server 2012 Essentials with all Windows Updates installed. I have been backing up approx 2.8TB of data (Bare Metal Recovery, C:, S: (shared folders), and system reserved) for the past year+ onto a storage pool made up of two-2TB external
USB drives. Backup is slow (takes approx 1.5 days to complete), but generally works. Not surprisingly I was constantly getting capacity low messages so I decided to increase my backup storage pool by adding a 3TB drive and another spare 750GB drive
for a total of 7.75TB. Instead of having four separate external USB enclosures, I bot a 4-bay enclosure - Startech.com model #S3540BU33E to simplify this (or so I thought!).
The first problem I had was adding the two new drives to the existing storage pool. I think that is because the Startech uses a JMicron USB controller that reports identical uniqueid's for all drives so only one shows up in the GUI interface for creating storage
pools. After doing research on this, I set up a new storage pool and virtual disk using all four drives via Powershell and thought I was good. However, when the backup ran, it failed after filling the first drive, saying there was no remaining capacity. In
reality there were three remaining empty drives and there storage pool reported almost 5TB of avail capacity. I assumed this was due to the identical uniqueid issue so I decided to try a different tactic.
Instead of using a storage pool that combines all four disks into one virtual disk, I just added each of them to Windows Server Backup as individual drives thinking it would manage them collectively. I.e., when a drive filled up during a particular backup,
it would just start using the next drive and so on. Apparently this was a foolish assumption because the backup failed again as soon as the first disk filled up.
So now I don't know if this is still an issue with the identical uniqueid's or if Server Backup actually can't spread a single backup across multiple individual drives that aren't in a pool or other virtual disk implementation. Hence, my original question.
My guess is that it does *not* spread them across individual disks, but I just wanted to get confirmation.

Thank you for following up on my question.
Unfortunately the article you referenced doesn't address what I am trying to accomplish.
The article focuses on saving the same backup job to multiple disks and rotating the disks between on and offsite for enhanced protection. However, it still requires that an individual backup job fits on a single disk.
What I am trying to determine is if a single backup job can span across more than one physical disk (during the backup process) without those physical disks being in some type of virtual disk implementation (e.g., storage pool, RAID, etc.).
