Can Motion be set up for a 1366 x 768 monitor?

I'm new to using Motion, but our monitor we will output on is 1366 x 768 and I do not see that option in the set up for project presets.... how do I set up a project for this size monitor? Can it be done?

Why can't Firefox set permissions for Snow Leopard Server Web-Site Wikis

I've established a web-site for collaboration of planning for a state-wide NGO and a local citizens-government oversight commission.
I'm using Snow Leopard Server v10.6.4, to drive the web-site, which includes the use of wikis.
In creating a wiki and setting permissions, I find that I cannot set permissions for users or groups to 'read only' from the default 'read & write' while using Firefox. However, I CAN set them to 'read only' using Safari. And, once the permission has been modified in Safari, THEN it can be modified in Firefox.

Anyway, recently encountered the following with a Mac mini server running Snow Leopard Server:
Despite being able to ARD / Screenshare the Mac mini, I was unable to get any further than the login window. Authentication credentials are obviously valid. No weird access permissions have been set. However, the weird thing was, I can connect to the server via Server Admin tools (from another Mac) and all other services were running without a hitch.
After much head scratching it turns out to be a sACL (Service Access Control List) issue.

To save you the trouble, I’ll lay it out here. I cannot take credit for this, but Randall can!
Open Server Admin on a computer (any), and connect with the local admin to the machine.
Select the server and authenticate.
Select Settings, then go to Access. You’ll want to make sure that Login Window and SSH have the local admin account listed if you select the option to “Allow only these users”. For now, I would suggest making sure all services have “Allow all users and groups” selected.
If (as in my case) it was set to Allow All in the first place, simply toggle the settings – back and forth.
Save.
Try logging in again… should be a good one!

As for turning motors on and off, SignalExpress is not meant for control applications. For controls, you should use LabVIEW either entirely or use a LabVIEW VI from SignalExpress. To do the latter, you could use a LabVIEW VI step in SignalExpress that will execute a LabVIEW VI that does the control processing and outputting that you want. That way you could work in the SignalExpress environment for all the data acquisition, and you would only have to use LabVIEW to program the control VI (or VIs).

It's a trust issue. You can set them up so you don't receive each other's messages as long as you each have your own email address.
The trust issue is the fact that either of you can change the separation at any time via Settings by checking the appropriate (inappropriate?) email address.
To be absolutely sure you can never receive each other's messages will require two Apple IDs.

Can LE8 be set up for a Midi Wind Controller

Hi, I'm interested in moving from GB to LE8. I've been reading in reviews that LE8 can't handle obscure midi surfaces. I want to plug in a Midi Wind Controller (Yamaha WX-11) and then set LE8 to handle data like continual velocity check and aftertouch.
Has anyone tried it with a wind controller? If not, does anyone know if LE8 can be programmed for handling additional midi data as I've described? Thanks!

I have a WX5 wind controller and been playing around with it tonight and some of the synths in LE7.2. I can't figure out how to set up MIDI control #2 for breath. As complex as this SOB is, there must be some way to do it. I am able to get the synths to play but they just aren't expressive without the breath control.
Guess I can always record my WT11 into an audio channel. I've done that before. It would be fun to be able to play the Sampler in LE7.
I ordered the upgrade to 8 today, BTW.

Set up for both SD and HD Monitors?

It appears the time has come to integrate an HD monitor into my editing station. Here is the plan
I currently have a Sony Trinitron PVM14L1 CRT Monitor for SD monitoring (going into/out from my Quad G5 through a Canopus ADVC 300 Converter)
I have a 23" Cinema Display. My plan is to bring over the 20" Cinema Display I use on another computer to use as the HD monitor.
So the question is...What do I need to add (PCI X cards, whatever) to integrate the 20" Cineman display as an HD monitor and still be able to switch back to the Sony for SD project monitoring? And...how does one switch back and forth between monitors for SD or HD Projects in FCP 6?

Studio is right. The only way to monitor HD on your computer LCD (need the Apple 23" or a Dell 2407 for this) without a capture card is the MXO. The Decklink HD Link and AJA HDP both take an SDI signal and convert it to DVI...meaning that you need a capture card to connect them too.
The MXO takes your already captured HD footage and outputs a true broadcast quality image to an Apple 23" display...giving you true color. Plus the new drivers allow you to properly cailbrate that monitor to bars, even giving you a BLUE ONLY option.
The Intensity would require that you get an HDMI ready TV,and won't get you broadcast quality. Neither will the HD LInk or HDP. Only the MXO will get you broadcast colors on the LCDs.

I am also, currently working on a project implementing BO SuPM Version 1.0. Landscape is ECC -> BI -> SuPM dashboards.
I have created a KPI in SuPM dashboard.
Case 1 : Automatic data collection - This KPI is marked for Automatic data collection. So, maintained Scripts with Connectivity and SAP BW Query name. I save this KPI and include in a new report and Run it. There are no records displayed.
Case 2: Manual data collection - This KPI is marked for manual data collection. So, maintained values in SuPM portal itself. I save this KPI and include in a new report and Run it. There are no records displayed.
Could you please help me how KPI in SuPM be filled manually and automatically ( from BW Query)?

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

1. Basically I am taking photos with a monochrome setting with my 5D and the screen shows monochrome.
2. when i import this onto my computer and open with PS, it opens in colour.
3. when I change this to Monochrome in PS. (It cannot read my monochrome setting with my preference of the greyscale mix when I viewed it on my 5D)

How can I tell if HD is set up for RAID?

I received an external Western Digital 4TB drive with some files on it and I'm trying to tell if the drive is already set up for RAID or not. The company I received it from couldn't tell me and according to the WD box, it's "pre-configured for maximum capacity (RAID 0)". However, when I go into Disk Utility to view the drive, it says the capacity is only 1.8T.
I little more detail... In Disk Utility the left window shows the drive named, "1.8 TB WD My Book Media". Total capacity 1.8TB

Partition Map Scheme: GUID Partition Table
...In the Partition window it looks like a single partition. Again, Size: 1.8 TB, Available space: 1.1 TB.
Does this make sense? Sorry, I'm not familiar with RAID drives and how they're set up and used. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

There is no such thing as a "RAID" drive. Any drive can be used in a RAID array. A single drive is not a RAID drive. It is simply a single drive. When multiple drives are combined into an array via software and/or hardware then one has a RAID array.
Now as far as I can determine WD does not make a single drive larger than 2 TBs. Formatted the drives will contain roughly 1.8 TBs. WD does make a My Book version that has two 2 TB drives that can be configured into a striped RAID array that will provide 4 TBs of storage. I don't know if the product is pre-configured as a RAID array or if you must configure it as such using Disk Utility. For the latter you must first partition and format each drive then use the RAID tab option of DU to set up the RAID array. Select Disk Utility Help from the DU Help menu and search for "raid" to get the help articles on how to set up striped or mirrored RAIDs.
