Can MS-6362 (694D Master-S) support Intel PIII Tulatin CPU?

In the FAQ (http://www.msi.com.tw/program/e_service/faq/?method=detail&faq_id=201) it states that only Pentium III Coppermine CPU's can be used for dual mode. So that seems to be the answer...
However the CPU support chart (http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/cpu_support/cpu/spt_cpu_detail.php?UID=81&NAME=MS-6362) mentions the Tulatin, although not followed by an OK. Could this mean that the Tulatin probably will work, but is not tested?
On the Intel site I can't find a clear difference between the Coppermine and Tulatin, other than that the first is produced in 0,18 micron and the latter in 0,13 micron. Hope that somebody has the answer, because Coppermines are hard to find...

It means that Tualatin will not work
MS-6362 will not support Tualatin CPU
For Tualatin CPU, it would require Tualatin supported chipset like 694T, 815T or 815EPT.

  • MS-6362 (694D Master-S)

    Hi MSI techies and all,
Can MS-6362 (694D Master-S) support Dual Intel PIII 1Ghz Coppermine CPU?
    I have a MS-6362 (694D Master-S) and recently I got myself a pair of Intel PIII 1Ghz (7.5x133FSB) Coppermine CPU.
I can only run the PIII 1Ghz (7.5x133FSB) on single CPU but not in dual mode.
According to the MSI CPU Support list of MS-6362 (694D Master-S) BIOS version 1.2, it stated to support PIII 1Ghz with 100FSB Coppermine.
So anyone can help or the tech support could tell me whether I'm able to run my pair of Intel PIII 1Ghz (7.5x133FSB) Coppermine CPU
    on my MS-6362 (694D Master-S)?
Its really waste I couldn't able to run the pair of Intel PIII 1Ghz (7.5x133FSB) Coppermine CPU.
Willing to try any mod BIOS that probably enable a better cpu ratio table in dual CPU mode.
thanks. appreciate any advice and help from you guys.

    Thanks for replying.
I using 2x Kingston PC-133 512MB SDRAM (Double sided). Why need to use ECC SDRAM thought
i been using SDRAM with my dual 733Mhz 133FSB CPU on the board.
Using Antec 430 PSU, for HDD using Seagate U160 18Gb on onboard scsi controller.
what do u mean by this sentence -> can not use more than 3 chips otherwise the memory fsb reverts to 100fsb.?
    System Configuration
    Processor - 2X P3 733Mhz 133FSB (Current)
                    2X P3 1Ghz 133FSB(To replace with my dual 733 CPU)
    Motherboard - MSI MS-6362 (694D Master-S)

  • Can I run adobe master collection in a windows partition on a basic mbp 13" with only the intel chipset?

can I run adobe master collection in a windows partition on a basic mbp 13" with only the intel chipset?
I want to install 16 gb ram but I don't think I can change the lack of video card. I wanted this basic machine because it has fairly long battery life. I don't need or want retina at this time. My model is the mid 2012 model. I am running the adobe collection for mac, I want to run the windows versions. Is it possible? What is the most ram I could access using something like fusion 5, assuming I could get fusion 5 to work? would it refuse to run because of the intel chipset and lack of video card?
If I'm wrong and there is a way to add a video card to this model, could some version of fusion and windows 7 access more than 2 gb operating ram?
What  cost would I be incurring, and would it be cheaper to buy a windows laptop with more ram than I could access via a virtual machine?
I want to work on a client's work in the windows versions of the creative suite, with occasional usage of after effects for windows, and to use some web plug-ins only available in windows versions, and to try some windows-only video and audio software.
thanks for any suggestions. While many people have told me I can run everything on my macbook, I am concerned about what I think is a limited amount of ram that can be accessed over the virtual machine partition softwares, and I don't know if what I want to attempt is actually possible.
My mbp os is 10.8.2 on a 2.5 GHz intel core i5 4 gb 1600MHz DDR3 with 500 hard drive. the basic 13" mid 2012 machine.
I'm hoping to install 16 G of opertating ram to allow more adobe programs to run concurrently- just when I am working on the mac side.
also, off track but, for years I have wanted a small  machine that is more easily portable than my 15" machines. I have only had this used machine for a few weeks, but already I have been very satisfied and used it for presentations at clients. I don't want an air because I really want the dvd burner and player. No matter what apple says about wireless, there are decades of legacy work stored on optical discs all over the world, and I don't want to be unable to open something at a client's office because I don't have a dvd drive. Additionally, I have very large files I want to transfer via ethernet or firewire so that the transfer will take less time and be more secure than wifi. I resist apple's trend to make every machine a disposable toy that is viable only a year or so. I have read reviews that label the mbp it a poor value compared to the air. If all you need to do is text and communicate via wifi, many devices will sufice, and an air is certainly the most elegant. But what about the cost of large ssd's and protecting the drive against damage from shock? I want to be able to move this thing around and the small size is much safer inside my padded bag when I sit in narrow airplane seats, crowded trains and other congested spaces. I am much more likely to be able to borrow a large screen in a client's office ( with the use of one of the three adapters I had to buy) than to be able to borrow a dvd drive that has drivers for mac os 10.8.2. I suspect this may be the last generation of machines that have optical drives and ethernet, and that was why I purchased it so that I could continue to do work into the next few years. I am impressed by the retina display, but I need long battery life. And as beautiful as the retina display is, it is even more of a problem when trying to cross platform with the windows world. I wish I could infuence apple to do a trial product flow for a machine designed to work with 80% of the business world that uses windows. How spectacular that would be. With all their expertise and adept hardware design, to create a machine that cross platforms better than a windows machine itself works? Now that would be an accomplishment.  Instead of 8 or 9 percent of the total computer sales, why not aim for a higher percentage? Smart devices will keep moving toward portable computers in power, anyway.

Fusion should work on your machine and if you put 16 GB of RAM in (see http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade/DDR3_160 0MHz_SDRAM), Fusion can access a good portion of that. Also, in a Virtual Machine, the guest OS is presented with Fusion's video card emulation, not what's in hardware on your Mac. Of course, finding Windows 7 now that Win 8 has been released could take some doing and the Win 8 Pro upgrade price is supposed to jump to $200 the end of the month. Add that to the price of Fusion and the extra RAM and you're beginning to get into the realm of low end real PC's.
As to cross platform, I assume you're aware of BootCamp (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1461).

You don't need to download the Windows support software, because in Snow Leopard, they are only available as a download for the Late 2010 MacBook Air.
Instead, you have to buy Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The Snow Leopard disc contains the Windows drivers for your Mac, so you have to install them after finishing the Windows installation

Call Apple's online store's telesales agents: 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753) or Customer Service and Sales Support at 1-800-676-2775. For Lion you'll get a redemptions code via e-mail and need to DL from the Mac Apple Store (requires SL 10.6.6+).

  • How can we pass the master report value in to detail  report

    Hi All,
My question is how can I pass the master report value in to detail (Child) report filter?
I mean I have one master report if I click on employee name then I have to pass the employee id in to details report filter. Then detail report will display data for that particular employee.
How can I achieve this one in OBIEE?
Please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for your time and support.

In that case, you should look at using Go Url. In your column formula for the employee name, create a hyperlink to the detail report and pass the employee id.
Take a look at this post: Re: Dyanmic display of the Image Link URL
    Thanks!

the size is perfect for me that is the point.
    thank you ..

Hi, thank you for you answer,  Yes I am talking about the 2012 11.6 1.7GHz Ivy Bridge processors. I like Macbook Air 11.6 because is light and small, but I was looking comments to use this small notebook to design is not for bigest proyect. what about after effects simples proyects 30 seconds. I would like use this  one outside and to keep the MacBook Pro home, much people say MacBook Air is for simples task I dont believe.

  • Can Indesign CC 2014 run on a Intel Celeron Processor?

Can Indesign CC 2014 run on a Intel Celeron Processor?

To expand upon Bob Levine's response, there is nothing in the Adobe installers that tests the CPU in terms of model, speed, and capabilities. That having been said, Intel Celeron processors have historically been stripped down, low power, low speed cousins to the mainstream Intel processor lines. It may possibly not support 64-bit operation in which case you would be restricted to the 32-bit flavor of InDesign and its address space limitations.
A Celeron processor might also be indicative of a system that isn't particularly well-endowed in terms of other resources including memory, disk, video, etc. and depending upon your configuration as well as the complexity of the documents you wish to create and/or edit, you might find performance lacking at best.
    Proceed with caution.

  • Can I upgrade to Master Collection CS5.5 without uninstalling Design Premium CS3

    Hi,
I work for a company that has offices worldwide, but do not have the budget to upgrade all licences which is why I need to keep InDesign/Illustrator CS3.
I wish to switch from Final Cut Express to Adobe Premier Pro/After Effects (I don't like the new Final Cut Pro X - for many reasons)
Can I upgrade to Master Collection CS5.5 without uninstalling Design Premium CS3?
    Many Thanks,
    Sandeep
    (iMac 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 10.6.8)

Absolutely. The upgrade won't touch the earlier version.
Make sure you buy the right upgrade. Here's a link to it on Amazon: http://amzn.to/oRnKh4

  • "This virtual machine is configured for 64-bit guest operating systems. However, 64-bit operation is not possible.  This host does not support Intel VT-x"

Hi, I have installed vmware 5.5 hypervisor on hp G8 microserver. I have created one vm as windows 2008 R2. I have also install vmware workstation 11 on this vm. In this workstation when I tried to run vmware 5.5 hypervisor I come across "This virtual machine is configured for 64-bit guest operating systems. However, 64-bit operation is not possible.  This host does not support Intel VT-x" this statement. Which shows that the host machine does not support virtualization and for that you need to go in Bios and enable it but in present case as host machine is also a vm and you would not find much detail of Bios when you log into the Bios therefore, I am pretty much stuck here. I don't see any information in relation to this. Now my question is:
    1. Can we run ESXi inside a vm which is already sitting on ESXi?

I moved the discussion from VMware Workstation to Nested Virtualization which contains several hints on what's possible and what needs to be configured to make things work.

  • Flip4Mac Supports Intel-Based Macs Now?

I stumbled onto the Wikipedia article for "Flip4Mac" and read an interesting bit of information:
As of July 15, 2006, version 2.1 of Flip4Mac now supports Windows Media Player 10 content, which was previously inaccesible to Macintosh users. This new version also supports Intel-based Macs.
I went to the Flip4Mac site but found nothing about it. Is it true or is this just a hoax. And where can I get the latest version?

The article seems a bit premature. There is also a Universal version of Flip4Mac, that is a Beta. I don't know if it supports WMP 10 as yet. I use the free part to view in QuickTime and Safari.

TAV uploaded this Beta version to this free server and provided us with the link!

  • Can I store referenced master files on a shared folder on a windows file server?

I have a windows file server where I have setup shared folders that my Macbook can access. Is it a supported configuration to keep my referenced master files on the windows share?

I hardly ever use the Bridge.  I mostly use the Bridges to work one groups of new image RAW to edit metadata and create ACR settings.  I don't use bridge features like collections or use the bridge to organize my image and I also don't use Lightroom.    I mostly use Photoshop and Window's File explorer with my Image files.  I have installed FastPictureViewer Codeg package to get thumbnails  for RAW and PSD files in a Window's dialog.   I don't like the delays introduced in workflows that are cause by the overhead requires for Bridge Cashes and Lighroom Databases.
However for you with 50 users sharing assets on network drives I would think you would need a library system above and beyond Bridge and Lightroom. A library system that provides access and version processes so users don't step on each others work.
If you want to use the bridge I do not believe it would be possible to use a shared cashed where multiple instances of the Bridge could concurrently maintain a common cache. I do not believe either Bridge or Lighroom design would have the locking protocols required for shared concurrent use.

  • Is LENOVO G50-80 80L0006CIN supports Intel Vertualization Technology ?

Hi All, I want to purchage ENOVO G50-80 80L0006CIN. I want to run Virtual PC through Oracle Vertual Mechine or VMWare Player to run 64 bit OS (Linux CentOS) on Windows 7 64 bit host. Is this laptop supports Intel Vertulaization (is there option to enable VT-x in BIOS)? Is LENOVO G50-80 80L0006CIN supports Intel Vertualization Technology (to run Virtual PC - 64bit guest OS on 64 bit host OS) ? Thanks,Shankar

UPDATE!!! If I select "only 802.11g" on the router I can connect.
A bit strange. I'm open to any suggestions, but at least I can connect now.

  • To run Mac OS X you need a host on which VMware Workstation supports Intel VT-x or AMD-V.

To run Mac OS X you need a host on which VMware Workstation supports Intel VT-x or AMD-V. ?

VMWare ESXi should support Lion and Mountain Lion, both in terms of it having been done and beeing allowed by Apple's license.
Note: Apple's license only allows hosting two virtual OS X machines on a single host.
In addition to ESXi, there is also Parallels Server for Mac Bare Metal Edition. See http://www.parallels.com/uk/products/server/mac/baremetal/technical-resources/ I merely mention it for completeness, I would stick to ESXi since it is 'free'.
You could consider running OS X as the host operating system and Windows as a guest VM using VirtualBox. VirtualBox can be configured to start automatically and invisibly on the Mac host. You could then use Microsoft RDP to connect to the running VM. Its services like SQL Server would of course be running and accessible as normal.
