Can my iPad 4 be connected to my Kodak 5250 printer?

Can my iPad 4 be linked to my Kodak 5250 printer and if so can you assist in helping me to link the two.

You have a few options
First look on Kodak's site. They have partnered with google docs to offer some options, such as being able to send the document to a computer hardwired to the printer. And I think some models support you sending the document directly to them, but I'm not sure on that part (it required a google docs account and since I didn't want another online account I didn't dig too deeply into it.
Also you can look into third party apps. I have print n share and it works just fine with my 7250. There is also printopia and print central and i'm sure there are others.

If you turn on home sharing on your iPad (Settings > Music) with the same account, and it's connected to the same network as your Mac, then you should get a 'shared' option at the bottom of the Music app (possibly via a More button) - tapping on that and selecting your Mac should let see your Mac's library (via the Playlists, Artists, Songs etc tabs at the bottom of the Music app) and be able to stream its content to your iPad

  • HT1996 My kodak 5250 printer is not recognised by my Macbook as a wireless printer

I cannot add my Kodak 5250 printer wirelessly to my MacBook - it does not come up in the 'add printer' menu.  I've done everything suggested in the Kodak support page about this - updated software and hardware, turned everything off, turned it on again, checked the printer is connected to the network - so what next?  It works fine using a USB cable.

And as per usual, after trying everything (it's been two weeks now of trying different things) and then posting online for support, I try again one more time and it magically works again.
I downloaded the HP printer troubleshooting thing again (the third time) ran the wizard again and found the printer (the second time), downloaded the drivers rather than using the disc (for the second time, the first time the installation failed right a t the end) and intsead of adding the IP for the printer at "Printer Network COnnect" step,  I looked up the username for the device on my router (HPDDxxxx) and entered that instead.
    EDIT: 11/2/13
Tried to print something today - once again the computer cannot connect to the printer. Printer is still connected. No settings had changed since I got it working.
Why is this happening! I need to print things! Very close to giving up. However I doubt I will get a refund from HarveyNorman, because when they test it out it will connect, and that's enough for them to say 'no refund'. Ugh.

  • Can multiple iPads be connected to show presentations

    Scenario:
Making sells calls, doing presentations, Power Point slides, demo's with prospective customers.  Making the best first impression possible.
    Issue:
Hitting prospects with great information, a great format and in a way that gets their attention leaves an impression with them.  The issue is that you can't always insure you have a room with a projector, etc.  You also have firewall issues that would require IT support to resolve. This limits your ability to deliver the wow factor.
    Question:
If I had 4-5 iPads that I could hand out to the prospects that would connect to my iPad (the Master) it would let me do all of the above.  It would be similar to WebEx or GoToMeeting.  Can iPads be connected to allow screen sharing and if so, how ?

Well, you can't link one iPad to another... what you can do is upload the presentations/slides for prospective customers on those iPads, therefore they will be able to see just what you want them to.

  • How can I see the connect option when mapping a printer microsoft iis 7

We use iis 7 web printing. Firefox is our browser of choice. However, when we go to our webpage to map a printer, and click on a printer, there is no connect option to install the printer. This is only in firefox. Internet explorer works fine once you click the compatibility option.

Looked through all of material, none have the answer. Firefox browses to the directory fine, x.x.x.x/printers. but you cannot install the printer because the "connect" option is not there.

  • Can my iPad be connected to a DVD player?

Can you connect a iPad 2 to a DVD ROM

No. iPad connectivity is concentrating on wireless transmission, with the exception of the camera connection kit and some devices plugged in the jack plug.

  • How do i get my ipad to connect to a brother 3170cdw printer to air print

i am trying to get my i pad  to air print to a brother 3170cdw printer. according to apple it will work.
I have both devices on the same wireless router, but the ipad doesn't see the printer

Check the AirPrint Basic link provided by the previous poster. It has a list of all printers that support AirPrint. If your printer is listed your iPad should be able to print to it.

  • How can I print from my ipad2 to a Kodak 5250 ESP printer?

How can I print from my iPad 2 to a Kodak 5250 printer?

    You cannot.
The USB port on the AirPort Express allow sharing a printer with Windows and Mac OS X, not with iOS:
"Wireless printing over USB requires a compatible printer and OS X v10.2.7 or later, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7":
    http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/#wireless-printing
"AirPrint-enabled printers  connected using Bluetooth or shared through a USB port of a Mac, PC, AirPort Base Station, or Time Capsule are not supported":
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
The HP ePrint app also does not provide such functionality:
Can I print from the HP ePrint mobile app using USB or Bluetooth?
No. You can only print directly to supported HP printers on a local wireless network.

  • IPad's connecting to enterprise wireless

I support an enterprise wireless network. I utilize 98 Cisco 1242AG LAP's across my campuses, all controlled by 3 Cisco WLAN controllers governed by Cisco WCS. I manage and make a change in WCS, and it flows out to all access points.
I push out multiple SSID's over the AP's, one being "public" which is VLAN's off and goes out a dedicated ISP connection. Every device I have touched can connect to public, except iPad's. I have touched an iPad once, for about 2 minutes, outside of work, but that's it. I'm getting reports about users who from anywhere on my network, can't get to their webmail or even connect using their iPad. My setup is not blocking anything, I have dense wireless coverage, why can't iPad's connect? I'm supporting A/G but not B or N.
The entire Apple thing is new to me, I've never had to support it, so I'm breaking new ground in personal development.

If you can't get an iPad an iPod with wireless and IOS 5 or above has pretty much the same wifi network mechanics. Again, the iPhones aren't much different in the wi fi area either. Refer to http://support.apple.com/specs/ for the specific technical specs of the device you are using to test. The biggest difference is that the iphone and ipod do not support the "a" spectrum and are b g n only, whereas the iPad is a/b/g/n.  Perhaps the problem has something to do with 802.11a.  Make sure your wifi gear has all the latest firmware.  You could also turn off the the "a"  radio beacon, I don't use it anymore as it created too many problems and g and n are really all you need anymore.

  • Kodak 5250 unexpected error

    Hi,
I have just upgraded from an imac G5 to an intel Imac running Snow Leopard. Also recently purchased a Kodak 5250 printer which worked perfectly with Tiger and was a simple set up.
I used a firewire to sync old and new together. Everything else appears perfect except for the printer.
It will print a test page using the wifi set up and with usb connected but when photographs or documents are requested the message "Printer is not responding. Make sure the printer is turned on a properly connected to your computer. (200-100003)
I have checked firewall is deactivated and the printer confirms that it is connected to the network and wakes up with the mac.
Kodak support were no help suggesting checking firmware, software and trying reinstallation.
    Please help!

If you do a Get Info on the selected Photoshop icon in the Finder, you
    should see the
"Open using Rosetta" box. I have no idea why you don't. Sorry.

I run a small business and am considering setting up an internal network. The online "features" description for Mobile Access Server (a component of Snow Leopard Server) says I can connect remoetley from an iPod or a Mac. The iPad is not mentioned. can I use my iPad to connect to a Mobile Access Server?

Yes. It's the same as connecting from an iPod touch or iPhone.
Logmeinigniton or teamviewer are a few of the apps you can use.
