Can my user-name be changed?

Is it possible to change my user-name? it is no longer particularly relevant (I used to make things for a company called Epoch)
If it is possible, please will someone point me in the right direction, I have explored 'My Settings' and 'My Public Profile' but there seems no option to do it there.
I don't particularly want to start a new account, I have been registered here for quite a while, although I don't visit that often. I don't need to because my Mac's have generally been trouble free (till now!).

Recently created new user name. Need to change it. I do not want to change my entire apple id account information. The only information I can find in communities, has to do with the previous Mobile Me stuff and not the new iCloud stuff. Again, I don't want to change my long standing account id with Apple. Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

OS X 10.4.6 Powerbook G4 - SMTP & Pop User Name is changing ITSELF!

Just as the subject says, I have several accounts in mail. It seems like every couple of days some of my accounts seem to change their outgoing mail server and the pop user name by itself. The outgoing mail server, which should be mail.clippergroupent.com is changing itself to something like mail.sbc-global.com (my DSL provider). Also, the username, usually: [email protected] changes itself to name%clippergroupent.com.

OK, first try the following:
Open Preferences from within the Mail program and note the exact settings for your email accounts.
Quit Mail
Drag the following file to the desktop:
your home directory / Library / Preferences / com.apple.mail.plist
Restart Mail
Re-install your mail settings for at least one account
These actions will not interfere with your mailboxes, it will simply create a new plist preference file when you re-start Mail.
If that did not help, you can place back the .plist file so you have all your account settings back.

Can a user name be edited?

I have run in to instances where a user needs to change the name that displays with their documents (such as when a division name changes) while the email linked to the account remains the same.
I have found no way to disable a user account and then create a new one using the same email but an updated name.

the user in question can login and update their preferences which included their name.
as an admin you can do this via the bulk update user feature and do this via a csv file:

When a new site is created can a user name and password be generated for it automatically?

I have a work request from a manager that is asking, when a new site is created (via workflow), that a generic user name and password be created just for that site?
If it is possible I would like for it to be created at the same time as the site be being created or do I need to wait until after the site is created and then trigger a workflow to create the generic user account?
this account is only needed to do one thing.. upload documents to a folder.
of course there can be multiple sites being built at one time and would like for this to be auto generated.... and possible be in a hidden list so I can include the info in a workflow email letting the receiver of the email know that
they need to use this specific user name and password just for this site.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to create sites and grant users permissions on the sites via workflow in SharePoint 2013.
Users are stored in AD, before you grant site permissions to them, the name and password have existed in AD users and groups. So, you need to add the users into AD before you grant permissions to them.
In SharePoint 2013 Designer, you can use REST API to create site and assign permissions to users. You can use Send Email action to send email to users and customize the body of the email.

My user name pswd changed

When i tried to login my user name pwd had changed without me changing it how and why would thishappen? My emails had been hacked recently and emails had beensent to my mail list. scams. Some had been sent to me i i opened to do with a video thought it was safe. my email came up and like a fool put my pswd in. since change all of them. Then emails were sent out. so how unsafe is my mac now?

ALE third party: User name in change log of PO item is updated inconsistently

We're running third party process, where changes in SO item are auto updated into PO item via workflow. Normally, user who changed SO item is updated in change log of PO item. However, there are several cases where workflow user is updated in PO item change log. There seems to be an inconsistency here. Do you have any idea? I've searched SAP Note but could not find any.

Checking data in system, I found one thing:
if change document of PO item is created later than change document of SO item, change user in PO item is workflow user; in the other hand, if change document of PO item and SO item are created at same time, change user in PO item is same as change user in SO item.
So I guess root cause of issue is: Change User in PO change log depends on which task system is doing (updating SO item or updating PO item) at the time the log is recorded; due to this, the t-code in log is also different (ME22 for workflow user and VA02 for normal user).
Is it correct?

Can adobeconnect subdomain name be changed?

Hi everyone,
Our company has chosen to use Adobe connect for the occasional webinar. IT purchased a subscription for my colleage as a means of trying it out for a couple of months, so we're quite new to the connect game.
It all works fine, however, the subdomain name is set to a generic http://meet73271184.adobeconnect.com. Is there any way to change/have this changed to a more friendly URL? I would like to give our users a more friendly subdomain.

Custom URLs are only available if you purchase and account through a reseller. The account should be able to be updated with a new URL to get rid of the meet number if you purchase through a reseller. You can find resellers in your part of the world here: Adobe Connect Partners

Can the column names be changes dynamically in OBIEE presentation

Hi,
Is thr any way through which I can change the column names depending on the value of a column.
the table structure is
Plan_name Character1 Character2 Character3 ....
so here according to plan_name the meaning of each character column changes. And I want to display each type of meaning on the presentation layer.
I cannot create aliases as the number of different plan name is 1200.
Any help will be appreciated.

I haven't tested these options, but you might. Maybe you try to supress the header for your table with data. After that, create a second table, which will be used as the header, and insert the same number of columns as the first table.
So on the 'header' table, create a conditional style (Criteria, Column Properties, Conditional Formatting), pointing to the values on shown in the first table. (You maybe need the data to be queried in both).
If this does't work, you can try to adapt the javascript shown in this blog: DELIVER BI OBIEE 11g &amp; 10g , ODI , OBIA: OBIEE Table make a row BOLD with JAVA
And instead of making the row bold, change the value.

You cannot change an existing tag. Next time you do your backups choose the new name and you will see backups with the desired tag name.

E2000-Admin user name is changed to SSID name?

I have manually configured the E2000 and set the admin password. When I was trying to log back in, I could not. I reset and reconfigured and set the password again. I still could not log in using "admin" and the password I set up. I thought I was losing my mind. Just on a hunch, I used the SSID name instead of "admin", then I entered the password - that worked. I am able to login, but I need the username to be admin, not the SSID. Has anyine else had this issue? Any way to change the administrator name back to admin?? Weird.

if you want the wireless passphrase and administrator password to be different, you will need to stop using Cisco connect and change the admin password by going to 192.1681.1--->administration--->router password.

Jobs running under sys user name

Oracle 10.2.0.3 Enterprise
Win2k3
Just upgraded to 10.2.0.3 ee from 10.1.0.4 standard.
The jobs were entered via em and given the proper owner.
em was logged in as sys. All jobs are running as user name sys.
Can the user name be changed to the owner or do I have to drop and rebuild the jobs?

Hi,
For jobs there are two users, the job_owner and the job_creator.
The job_owner is the schema the job is created in. The job runs as the job owner and with the privileges of the job owner.
The job_creator is the user that creates the job (even if he creates it in another schema). When a job runs it sets its logged-in-user to be the job creator, so any actions will be audited as having been done by the job creator.
Neither the job_owner nor the job_creator can be modified after the job has been created.
But you may be able to use the copy_job command or the create_like EM button to save you some trouble.

Change User Name But Not Email SBS 2003

I need some help. I have a user that got married and wants to change her last name because she sends email from Outlook and it shows her old last name. I would like to change her user name but keep her email address the same.
On SBS 2003 from Server Management -> Users, if you rightClick a user and select "Rename" from the popup menu, you can change the first and last name and leave the email as is. The user name will change and the email address stays the same in
the user list when the edit window closes.
I would like to do this if there are no repercussions such as email folders disappearing or unaccesable or any other changes to anything other than the user name.
What will happen if i change the user name as I descirbed above. Will it mess up any of the users access. permissions, etc?

Hi Lewis:
If I understand what you mean, you would like this user to receive mails addressed to "old-name" and send mails with the reply address as "new-name".
To do this, open Active Directory Users and Computers, find the user, right click - properties, email addresses.
Add the new email address and set it as default. Uncheck the box to update based on recipient policy.
You can also change the users name in the SBS console, but if you just change the email address there emails addressed to old-name will not be received. So in the console, just change the users name for logon and user name to new-name, but not the
email address. Just add one in ADUC.
