Can my wife and I keep separate accounts on the iPad, each synched to our individual computers?
I guess the title says it all.
No. iOS is not designed at this time for multiple account logins. You would be synching over the top of each other.

My Wife and I have separate accounts on the same Macbook Pro. I have moved the iTunes library to a shared area and we can both access it, however, my Wife (secondary user)can't import cd's. Is there something we are missing and is there a way to do this?
You are more likely to get relavant and useful suggestions posting to the Mac forums instead of the iTunes for Windows forum where you've posted.

My MacBook Pro is running Firefox and is synced via Firefox Home to my iPhone. I want to sync my bookmarks to our Dell desktop, but my wife and I have separate accounts with separate bookmarks/favorites. Can I sync with the bookmarks on "my side" without interfering with the bookmarks on "her side"?
Yes, only the data in your Firefox Profile in your user account will be Sync'd on that Dell desktop.

Hey everyone,
This problem has been bugging me for a very long time, and have not been able to find the answer I am looking for.
My wife and I both have separate iphone's with separate iCloud accounts and all. We also both use a Macbook Pro with separate logins.
The issue is, when my wife logs in to her account on the macbook, and turns the contacts on to sync with icloud on her phone, all of my contacts are saving to her phone.
This has happened multiple times, and she says she just wont use it, but I rather have everything work together correctly.
Please help!!!If you share an Apple ID, both of your phone numbers should be linked to that ID. You should be able to use your phone number as well. My wife, my daughter and I all share an Apple ID for purchases, and we each text from our iOS devices using our own iPhone numbers.
When iOS 6 came out, you were able to link the phone number with your Apple ID to use for Messages and FaceTime. You will need to sign out of messages on all devices and then start the process all over again.
Take a look at this.

Can my wife and I share iTunes accounts on different computers?
My wife uses an Apple Airbook, I work on a desktop PC. I've had an iTunes account for a long time and we share music, etc. So can we share the same iTunes account from our different computers?
No. iOS is not designed at this time for multiple account logins. You would be synching over the top of each other.

My wife and I would like to have separate 'My Top Rated' Smart Playlists in iTunes Match. We use the same library, and this seems to be the glitch. I've heard that you can configure this type of thing, but how?
Hi,
I don't think this would work if you wanted to have the same song on the list.
Instead of the smart playlist option, I think you need to create a standard play list by identifying your top rated songs and create playlist from the selection.

Can my wife and I have separate song ratings?
My wife and I have mostly the same taste in music, but certainly some differences. Can I set up my iMac to where she can rate one song in a different way than I would rate it? That way we can each have personalized smart playlists. I don't want to have to store two copies of every song. Thanks!
As the other poster replied, you need to have separate libraries to have different ratings, etc. Now, just because you have different libraries, doesn't mean that they can't both point to the same shared storage location for your media. Doing that might have other potential issues for you, like adding a new item in one library won't automatically add it to the other, and if you remove an item from your library and also remove the content from the disk, it will still be a part of the other library, but it won't exist on the disk any more, so it won't be usable...

How can i remove a user name or account from the ipad?
I purchased the iPad from a friend who never used it but entered a user name and profile. When I try to load something from eBooks, it automatically defaults to the other user name and not mine and I don't know how to change it to my user name (email address). How can I completely remove anything related to that other user name and info?
Attach your iPad to your iMac and then in iTunes on the Mac use iTunes > File > Devices > Transfer Purchases

So yeah basically my iPad won't pick up on WiFi networks and I am wondering if there is a remedy to this. Thanks :)
The easy things first. Tap wifi in settings. Is wifi turned on, can you see your wifi in choose a network, do you have airplane mode turned on, is it just your wifi router or all wifi signals, if you go to a public site can you see their network? Have you tried a reset.? If your still having problems, take your mini to the Apple Store and let them show you how. If they can't connect to their signal ask them for further suggestions

My wife and I have separate have separate user accounts on our IMac. We have separate Apple IDs for iTunes. How can we use iCloud on our separate iPhones without sharing contacts, calendars, etc.
If have separate iCloud accounts and want to keep your all your iCloud data separate, you can create separate user accounts for each of you, then sign into your individual iCloud account within your user account.
If you want to just add both iCloud calendars on your Mac, you can sign into one iCloud account in System Preferences>iCloud, then add the second account in System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud and only check Calendars with this second account. -
My wife and I have separate ioS devices (iOS7) with separate iCloud accounts.
So we access our mail separately on these devices. But we would both like to be able to access mail at the desk top (iMac, OSX Mavericks). Currently only my mail is linked. How do I set up the Mac to allow it to access my wife's e-mail too, either in the same mail inbox or a separate one. Simple instructions please! If Mail in Mavericks is the same as earlier versions you can select accounts in the sidebar, so that you can either display the inboxes for individual accounts, or the contents of all the account inboxes. (If the accounts don't show click the disclosure triangle next to 'INBOX'). The layout may have changed since the version I have - Snow Leopard - but you should be able to do the same thing.

My wife and I have separate itunes accounts, can I merge the two
My wife and I have seperate accounts, is there a way I can merge the two or have them recongnized as being linked so she can use the itunes match account I set up.
No, sorry, you cannot merge iTunes Store accounts. She can connect her devices to your iTunes Match account, but she'll have to use your Apple ID and password and, to the best of my knowledge, content she purchased via her own iTunes Store account will not be included, though I'm not certain about that.
