Can a new screen be purchased for a ipad 2 and installed

The touch screen is a complex piece of electronics. It's not like a flashlight, where you can just pop out the glass and pop in a new piece. There's sensors and such that make the screen work.
Only you know if you possess the techinical expertise to tackle it. I'm fairly confident in taking computers apart and the such, but I'd defer to a repair person for something like this.
Another thing you'll also want to look into in making your decision is what kind of warranty the repair place offers. Do they back up their work or is it 'too bad, so sad' if they make a mistake.

I've found the solution on another thread and it goes like this:
1) install the most recent Nokia Software Updater
2) install the most recent Nokia PC Suite
3) uninstall Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver from Add or Remove programs in Control Panel
4) install the older Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver (6_85_10)
Restart your PC if asked to do so.

When I try to re-install the Mac operating system, I come to the part of the installation instructions where you are asked to choose a disk to install the software. However, there is no disk listed in the selection screen. Why is there no disk in the selection screen?

You haven't formatted the SSD, so you can't install Mac OS X.
First, close the OS X installer and open Disk Utility. Then, choose the SSD at the top of the sidebar, go to Erase tab, choose "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" as "Format", and press Erase. Finally, close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X. See > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html

Hi, I had the same problem and I found that you don't need a serial number anymore. Here is what I did:
(1)I went to Applications fodder on my Mac. (You can navigate to the Application folder from 'New Finder Window.')
(2) Deleted Pages (installed as part of the free free trial version) from the Applications Folder. Also deleted 'IWorks' from the Applications folder.
(3) Started AppStore.
(4) Clicked on Purchases.
(5) Clicked on Pages.
(6) Clicked Install.
(4) repeated (5) and (6) for Numbers and Keynote

Until the next version of Lightroom is released, you need to use the DNG Converter version 8.7RC to convert your RAW photos to DNG and then import the DNGs into Lightroom.

For a fresh download on a new hard drive, it's best to start with the CC desktop app. Sign into adobe.com and download it here: creative.adobe.com/products/download/creative-cloud
You can then launch the desktop, sign in and download PS & LR.

Inasmuch as you are allowed to purchase a perpetual license for Photoshop CS6, there's no technical reason you can't install it on Windows 8. When an upgrade installation asks about the prior product, you need only give it the serial number of your Photoshop CS5 license.

When you can, take a look at the old AirPort Express and locate the model number in the faint print on the side of the device.
If you see A1084 or A1088, this is an older Express version that is no longer supported by the current version of AirPort Utility that you are using with the new AirPort Extreme.
If that is the case, your Express is at least 6 years old...probably older...so it is about time to treat yourself to a new version with much faster speeds and more features.

If you have already updated to Pages 5.2 on your Mac, you may be trying to open the file with a previous version of Pages. If this is the case, you have two versions of Pages on your Mac & are trying to open Pages 5 documents with Pages 4. Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there then right-click on the Dock icon & select Options > Keep in Dock.
Installing new versions of iWork has never replaced existing versions. This is nothing new. The only thing new is that the '09 apps are moved to an iWork '09 folder if they were purchased from the Mac App Store. If they were installed from disk they should already be in a separate folder in Applications.

Was working, and now it is not. What might have happened? I saw that Apple updated iPhoto in the App Store, but that is not where I purchased this. I tried Software Update, but it said all the software was up to date.
