Can no longer access epub books since iOS update

Until recently I had a number of books and PDFs installed on my iPad that I accessed through iBooks. During a recent iOS upgrade ALL of them were removed from my iPad, but were still available on iTunes. I have been able to move all of the PDFs back to the iPad, but am having no luck with the books. These are all epub books that I downloaded through iTunes.
Any suggestions on 1) why this may have happened and 2) how I can 'recover' these books?

Shortly after posting this question I found the solution (http://ow.ly/jnab1). Still not sure why these were all cleared off the iPad when the iOS was upgraded. They survived a number of previous upgrades.

Can no longer access hotmail account since hacked

My hotmail account seems to have been hacked - sending spam to all in my contacts. Although I ve been able to reset my password and can now access the account from another device, I can't from my playbook. It doesn't recognise my address/password ( old or new) and after turning the device off and on again, has lost most of my contacts. I've tried removing my email account details and re-installing to no avail. Can anyone help pls?

You said that you removed the account and then re-added it. Have you rebootd the device before re-aading the account, if you have not done so, it is then worth a try

Why can't I access the Internet since Firefox updated?

When I went to open Firefox on may laptop I got a box that said - Firefox will start in a minute after it finishes updating (not verbatim). After it opened I can't access the Internet through it or use any of my quick links. It just keeps refreshing to the Firefox homepage.

Just installed os x 10.8.3 and can no longer access icloud.

I can no longer access icloud, mail, etc. after updating to 10.8.3. On the other hand, I seem to be okay on my iphone. Anyone else have this problem or any ideas.

Your problem appears to be different than what I experienced, which was a complete inability to access iCloud mail. That issue is resolved for me now. Here's what I did, but frankly I don't know why this worked. I'm not sure if it was all a coincidence and that the iCloud fix was rolled out to different countries at different times.
On my MacPro, from 10.8.2 with mail working correctly:
1. deleted the iCloud account from Mail
2. updated to 10.8.3
3. signed out of iCloud in Preferences and signed back in
4. readded the iCloud account in Mail (ensuring of course that the id and passwords are correct)
Again, I don't know why it worked but it did. With this done, I repeated the process on my MacBook with success. You can see if this works for you, but this is all I can offer as help.

You will be using your original AppleID and password. that works for any computer you own now or in the future. Do not make a new appleID.

I found whats happening at least partialy. My 2 iphones that wouldnt participate in shared library and ipad2 had false logins in music setting.
I tried log out under music, and log in, and it said it can't log in.
same time, funny thing happened, app store is also unreachable.
I only restored in itunes my ipad2 for testing (it was suggested by apple via apple support chatline) and it worked, I can connect to shared lib only with ipad.
Alas, it partialy downloaded my library???? and it had errors in it.
I restarted router, itunes server, ipad (resetting network settings and loosing all my 20 or so connections I have for different places!) and ipad works.
My wife's iphone managed to log on into music settings to home sharing, but it only downloaded partialy itunes library. I am not restoring it since Id loose a lot more!
My own iphone4 isn't managing to connect into home sharing.
I have tried to solve this for a week.
New firmware of asus RT N66U gorgeously capable router and all the things I did came to nothing.
I think it's n iOS wifi communications problem, and only apple can solve it.

HT201401 since iSO 7.02 update bluetooth with my car is no longer working at all. also can no longer access my mail! the browser is turned off and I can not turn it back on!!!!!

last week my phone was automatically updated after a trip to Europe, now I can no longer access gmail because the browser capability for cookies has been turned off and I can NOT get it back on. As far as automatic update, the iOS cannot be updated without user intervention, so it could not have been automatically updated.
You need to provide more information about your mail. Does this mean you cannot access the Mail app, you cannot download mail, or what? Not sure why you cannot access the cookies setting in Safari. Go to Settings>Safari>Block Cookies>set to what you want.
Problems with 3rd party Bluetooth devices, such as car audio, etc., generally has to do with vehicle manufacturers not providing updates to match the current Bluetooth stacks that are found in today's phones. You can go into the phone and remove the pairing for the car, and then go into car settings and remove the iphone. Then put both devices back into pairing mode and attempt to connect them again. Why would there be a fix? YOU are having the problem. I'm not, no one I know is having the problem. No fix is needed.
Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Have you been through any, if not all of these troubleshooting steps yet?

Is it possible you mistakenly clicked on a [Clear Layout] button?
But a great hint is- Always click on the [Create a Saved Book] button, early in your new book design.
Then you have a permanent link to the book in the Collections panel. (In addition to the standard collection of your selected images)
Note: a Book Collection shows an icon that looks like a book.
Every time you come back to edit the book, open the Book Module by clicking on the white arrow that appears on the end of your Book Collection title. (The title as saved)
Re-opening a book without using the "Saved Book" option can have unpredictable results.
A "Book" Collection is like a "Smart Collection" because anything you do to the book design, change pages, change images, etc, is automatically updated in the Saved Book collection.

I keep on getting a message from WebKit2WebProcess.exe that the LogTransport2.dill was not found. (I HATE PCs...) I tried reinstalling Acrobat 9. I tried reinstalling Safari. I even tried an older version of Safari. Nothing Helped. Others have tried it on their machine, and it worked fine. But I do not know what is the matter with mine. I used to manage 3 websites using both my imac and macbook, using dropbox, however I can no longer access them from my mac book.

I have been managing 3 websites using iWeb for the last several years, using both my iMac and Macbook. However for the last two weeks, I can no longer access these sites from my macbook. It appears "empty". When I first started seeing this, I took it to the Genius Bar in another city and he moved some library contents to my desktop - still didin't help.
I know iWeb is a thing of the past, but I can't stop right now and learn something new for about the next 4 weeks (in a sports team in the middle of a season)
. After that, I will have time to learn a new product.
Also, what is a suggestion for replacing iWeb? Sandvox? Rapid Weaver?

What do you mean when you say you "can no longer access these sites?" Does that mean you can't connect to those sites in your web browser, or that they aren't showing up in iWeb?
If the latter, note that your iWeb data is all entirely stored in a hidden file. In the Finder, choose Go -> Go To Folder and paste the following path into the window that opens:
~/Library/Application Support/iWeb
In that folder, you will find a single file, called Domain. That's got all the data for all your iWeb sites. If that file is missing, or if it has become corrupt, you will need to restore it from an earlier backup.
As for replacing iWeb, either Sandvox or RapidWeaver should work. Which works best will depend on your own tastes. Note that neither is capable of fully importing iWeb sites, as those sites will have a lot of content that is copyrighted by Apple. I had the same problem and I found this answer to a similar question to ours, so I copied and pasted it for you
Reset the device by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time for approximately 10 seconds. After it resets the message will be gone and you can go to settings > icloud and put in your password.
That seems to be a bug with the password alert where it won't respond correctly sometimes.

Color Nook can no longer access library . . How can I resolve this problem?

I have a Color Nook. Recently it was updated automatically. Since the update I can no longer enjoy reading the library books I once could. I used Overdrive and Adobe Digital Editions to access my county library in the past but can no longer access it.. I get an error message of E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY. Apparently I have lost authorization to the AdobeID server.
How do I resolve this problem?
