Can no longer access Graphite Base Station, Please help

For no apparent reason, my DP 800,10.4.11 can no longer access my Graphite Base Station. For years I have had no problems.
But this morning I lost access to my base station. I entered the PW as usual, but it did not allow access. I verified the PW in Keychain (and the base station name), but again I struck out. The machine is otherwise fine (or so it seems).
I have done the following, all unsuccessfully:
• Shut down with cold restart
• Zapped PRAM
• Safe Booted
• Created a new account/User
• Ran DiskWarrior
• Rebooted Base Station
• Reverted to a week old backup, still no joy.
I can successfully connect to the base station with my iMac, so I am certain the base station works.
I know nothing about this stuff, but it now seems the problem is with the Airport card inside the DP 800. Is this likely?
What if anything else can I do to either isolate the problem, or better yet, fix the problem?

Some things to try:
Create a new Location in System Preferences > Network. (Start from scratch; don't do it by modifying an existing Location.)
Turn off WEP encryption on the base station.
Physically move the base station and/or computer to overcome possible wireless interference in the original position. (Note: the base station does not need to be connected to the Internet while you test wireless connectivity.) You can also try enabling Interference Robustness (on both the computer and base station) and changing the wireless channel.
See whether the DP 800 can connect to a different wireless network.
I'm somewhat surprised you say you entered the password "as usual." Under the typical settings, your computer would remember your network and its password and join it automatically. (I know you haven't declined to store the password in the Keychain.) Moreover, your reference to the "base station name" strikes me as odd, as you do not need to know the base station name in order to connect to the network. Did you mean the wireless network name? Or might the password you have been entering be the base station password, instead of the wireless network password?

I can surf the net via airport, but wireless printing has stopped working. I can also no longer configure the base station via the admin utility - just get an error message "an error occured whilst reading the configuration".

First thing to try - pull power to the Airport Express and let it reboot, then restart your Mac.
If you still have problems, I'd next ask if you are using third-party firewall software on your Mac (which in a worse case scenario will block both admin and printer access to your Airport Express).

Can no longer read the base station configuration

I am seting up a Airport Extreme N. I was able to read the configuration file twice with no problem. Now AirPort Utility "sees" the base station and tells me the Name, IP, Version, and AirPort ID but when I select the continue button AirPort Unitlity just sits and spins.
1) I am using the latest AirPort Utility (2007-1)
2) I have tried the 1 second reset
3) I have tried the 6 second reset
4) I have tried the reset while powering up
I see a few other threads like this but no conclusive answers.

Found the problem (well a work-around).
If the base station restarts while my LaCie USB 1TB drive is plugged in and turned on then AirPort Utility hangs reading the configuration. If I wait until the base station is up and running to plug the USB drive in all is fine. Also AirPort Utility will crash while hung reading the configuration and I unplug the USB drive.
To be sure I tested 3 times. Totally repeatable. Total time...4.5 hours

I have an old iCloud ID I can no longer access. I do not know the password to delte it. I can no longer access the email account. Help please.

If Settings>iCloud shows and older iCloud ID (email address) as a result of updating to iOS 7, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

If you don't have access to your rescue email account, or you don't have one on your account (an alternate/secondary email address is a different setting/address), then you will need contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset (you won't be able to change/add a rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions)
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to update/add a rescue email address for potential future use

I've tried rebooting and switched every setting on and off etc. Could any one please help me with this..

Since you are using the same sim I suggest you contact your service provider to check your provisioning.

Power outtage: Can no longer mount disk?! Please help

Firmware 7.2.1 and seagate 500 gb disk. everything has been fine for a while until our power went out last night. when i woke up to check some of my overnight downloads, i could no longer mount the disk. when i clicked on my alias it said it could not mount it.
when i typed in the IP to connect, it allowed me to log in and view my available mounts, but i could not connect to it. it gave me an error code -35 (not sure what that means).
i tried plugging the disk into my laptop but i cannot seem to view the disk (though it has always done this).
please help, this is very odd and there is data i need to get off that disk. thank you.

Using MacDrive, i'm able to view my files on the HFS drive from windows, go figure. So i'm backing them up right now and am going to reformat the external.
Now I know to back up my stuff...twice!

Can no longer login using .Mac id - please help

I can no longer use my .Mac username to login to the support forums and post -everytime I do it asks me to create an alias and then fails asking me to logout of my current login before creating an alias !@##$%%%
It also fails to display my current username in the part of the screen that should show it....
How can I get the techs to scrub the database so that I can login as myself and post questions ??

Delete the Apple Cookies.
Clear the Cache in the browser.
Quit the browser.
Try to sign in with the old account.
If that doesn't work, try this procedure.
Delete the browser's Apple Cookies, and clear the browser Cache.
Go to the Sign In Page.
Do not enter an Apple ID or Password.
Click on the Click Here link.
On the page that opens, do not enter an Apple ID, but click on the "Forget your Apple ID link.
Enter the required information, and click Continue.

TS4597 My airport extreme has had the latest update and now my mac can no longer find the base station. Everything else works fine on the internet but my mac loses connectivity constantly. This only happened after an update. Help...

Help!! The update on my airport is 6.3 I think. Shoot me!! I'm in graduate school and it's taking me all day to answer one discussion!!

Airport 6.3 utility requires ipv6 local link to work.

But older express may not show up even then. you need to install 5.6 utility so you can access them as well.
It is tricky but if you google around there are a number of methods listed. Here is what I do.
How to load 5.6 into ML.
1. Download 5.6 for Lion.

Click to open the dmg but do not attempt to install the pkg.. it won't work anyway.
Leave the package open on the desktop so you can see the file. AirportUtility56.pkg
2. Download and install unpkg.

Run unpkg on the desktop.. If your Mac refuses to run the software, because it wasn’t downloaded from the Apple store, go to security in preferences and allow other software to work.. this is limitation of trade methinks. You can set back later if you like.
Now drag the AirPortUtility56.pkg file over to unpkg.. and it will create a new directory of the same name on the desktop.. in finder, open the new directory, drill down.. applications, utilities .. there lo and behold is Airport utility 5.6 .. drag it to your main utilities directory or just run it from current location.
You cannot uninstall version 6 (now 6.3 if you updated) so don't try.. and you cannot or should not run them both at the same time.. although I have had no problems when doing so.

If you're comfortable resetting all settings, unplug it, hold down the reset button and keep holding it in as you plug it back in - keep holding it for another 10-20s until the amber light flashes
Then, open airport utility, now you should be able to see the device either on-screen or in the upper left under 'other wi-fi devices'

Help please: extreme card in 17" iMac with graphite base station SUPER slow

I am at my wits end and hope someone can help me. I have a graphite base station that has worked perfectly with a TiBook for years...I just got a 17" iMac with an Airport Extreme card and it is having big problems. The symptom is difficulty connecting to the base station, and when it does manage to connect, it is really slow...we're talking about 300 KB per MINUTE. The signal strength shows 4 bars, and I confirmed with AP Grapher that the signal is always running 70% or more. The older TiBook meanwhile works great, as it always has. A peer-to-peer wireless network between the two computers (bypassing the base station) also works great. Wired connection to internet also great. So I suspect the problem is the communication between the graphite base and the Extreme card...though this is supposed to work fine. It seems the hardware itself must be OK because the base serves the old TiBook so well, and the peer-to-peer network works great too. I am well and truly stumped and hope someone out there can help.

I am having what I think is a similar problem, although my problem is more related to a complete loss of signal. I am starting to think, from what I am reading in other posts here, that it is something related to 10.4.3, as the problem I am experiencing began after installing the 10.4.3 update. Sounds like a bogus pop up. In any case power down your Mac, your modem, your router. Then power back up in 1 minute sequence; modem, router, Mac.
