Can someone help. I use Photoshop Elements 13. I can no longer save edited photos. get messages - "Nothing was imported" "The file or folders selected to import did not contain supported file type. It started this a couple of weeks ago and I had a friend come fix it just 2 days ago. It took him several hours and I lost all tags I had on over 10,000 pictures. Now it has done it again. I'm so upset. I lost a lot of stuff. I don't want to keep bothering him with this. Please Help.

How did you import the files to your computer?

I've been using PS 10 for many months and have been able to save my edited raw images as jpgs in version sets. I can no longer do this. The edited images save on the hard drive but not in the PS organizer...thank you for any help you can offer....

Ok, you need to know what you want to do with your image. For example if it's for the web the best way to save to jpg is.. File-Save for Web, then you will see a Box with four pages,, you can choose: Original which is going to be your original image,... Optimized which is a Lower quality version. 2-Up and 4-Up.
when you click on 4-Up Tab you see your original image in the top left, Also you have your image in 3 different windows with different file size and speed. You can click on each window and inside the Preset in Top right choose JPEG. and you can change the quality from Low to High or Drag the Quality Slider for different quality.
NOTE: when you do File-Save For Web,, you are going to have a flatten Image.. you will loose your Layers.
It is always better if you shoot your images In higher Res, such as 240, or 300 dpi, and later Down-sample the image to a lower quality for the web. If you have the original image at Higher Res, First you should Go to Image Image-size For Example Height 1200 Pixel. If you go ahead and save the file for the web then you don't need to change the Resolution. don't forget to Sharpen your image when you Down-sample

The 'inbox' tab has suddenly disappeared from the top left of my screen. I can no longer return from a message to the inbox in one click. Can somebody help?

Thunderbird has had a tabbed interface since version three and still this forum gets people complaining they can not see the inbox tab because they never actually close a tab.
So right click a tab and select close other tabs. Perhaps you might consider closing the tabs you open to read your mail when you are done with them and then you will not have the hassle.

Why I can no longer save edited images as jpeg file in CS6?

When the save dialog box appears, under Save Options and next to Layers there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark showing the Layers are not saved. My images are 72 dpi, I have changed screen resolution and no result.I have the image set to RGB colors and 8 bits/channel. Anybody else has experienced this?(It saves it fine in psd, though).Help!!

I can no longer sync my photos since ios6. Any advise?

Since upgrading to iOS6 on my iPhone 4S I can no longer sync my photos in iPhoto via iTunes.
The sync photos is checked but only the sync all option is available and the sync fails at the photo step with an unknown error.
All apps and OS's are current and otherwise functioning properly. Any thoughts?

I'm seeing the same problem. The sync from iTunes stops when starting to sync photos and the "Unknown Error 1140" message appears. I tried several times, then decided to uncheck the Photos Sync in iTunes. The sync then proceeded without problems (without the photos of course).
My feeling is that I don't really need to sync the photos as I'm using Photo Stream and save all photos (taken with the iPhone) to the Camera Roll. The Camera Roll photos are then saved to iPhoto on my MacBook Pro via Photo Stream. I tend not to have other albums on my iPhone (other than a few test albums) - just use the Camera Roll basically.
I'm using an iPhone 4S with iOS 6 and the latest iPhoto 9.4 - also the latest Mountain Lion 10.8.2.

Could you please let me know what Adobe Writer program you are talking about. Is it Adobe Acrobat or Reader?
Could you please share the screenshot of the exact error message that appears.
Are the PDF forms saved on your computer's local drive?

Did you install new software or upgrade to newer versions? Which version of iPhoto are you using?
The "Save to iPhoto" feature has been missing for some iPhoto versions. I do not remember exactly when it vanished, but it is back with iPhoto 9,6 and MacOS X 10.10.2.
As a work-around - you can drag photo attacuments from your mail to the iPhoto icon in the Dock to save them to iPhoto.

I'm using a Mac / Leopard. Beginning about a month ago, I can no longer "save as" an image. The "Save Image As" menue comes up -- but then nothing. I can drag images onto the desktop, but that's it. I tossed out Firefox, and then downloaded it and reinstalled it, but have the same problem. (I couldn't figure out how to get rid of profiles and bookmarks -- so they remained). Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

I received the file you emailed. Without opening the file:
I can tell you that you were NEVER able to save the file. This is a Microsoft excel file (which we know because the extension is ".xls"). Numbers can open excel files then you can save the file as a Numbers file OR you can export the file back to excel using the menu item "File > Export To > Excel..."
Did you create the file in Excel? If so you can continue to edit the file in excel. If you double clicked the file and it opened in Numbers then you need to answer the question which application do you want to use (Numbers or Excel)?
