Can no longer share to iTunes. Any suggestions?

Ever since the update to version 2 I no longer have the share to iTunes option. I do not want to re-install garageband since I am afraid to loose my projects. Anyone have this situation or a solution? Thanks.

Try running iTunes Diagnostics and pasting the output here.
What firewall software are you running on your computer? Try to set it up again or uninstall it (for testing purposes only).

when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

I can't burn a cd of my own created music. I either get the error 4261, or after "Checking media" the process stops and nothing further happens. Have tried different burn speeds and cds. Have re-installed iTunes.Any suggestions please?

Sounds like the CD drive died. Luckily they cost next to nothing to replace. Or get an external LaCie instead. I have a dual G4 1.25 and the CD drive was always so anemic I use a LaCie Porsche with it.

Quit iTunes...
Download Cocktail and start the program... click on the 'interface' Icon and tick 'Show Invisible Items' then click the Restart button...
In a finder window click on the Icon that is your Boot Volume in the Side Bar ... select users ... select shared folder ... select the folder named 'SC info' and put it in the trash and empty it ... Do Not touch any other file.
Pathway looks like this HD > users > shared > SC info > SC Info.sidb
Go back to the Cocktail 'interface' window and untick Show Invisible Items and click restart .. quit Cocktail.
Start iTunes after deletinng this folder and it will prompt you to enter your authorization information again ... see now if your problem still exists...

Problem after updating to iTunes 10.5 on Windows Vista.. I can no longer access the iTunes store..

After updating to iTunes 10.5 on Windows Vista I have found that I can no longer access the iTunes store... I am left with a blank iTunes screen with the loading bar stuck at halfway..
All other features seem to work... only opening the iTunes store is failing..
I have ran the diagnostics feature and this says everything is ok, so I'm a bit stuck

The "netsh winsock reset" command worked like a charm for my machine (running Windows XP SP3). I have had two weeks of frustration with this issue and finally found your post which got me back online with the iTunes store. My problem accessing the iTunes store began once I downloaded and installed iTunes 10.5 in preparation to upgrade to OS5. Once 10.5 was installed, I could open iTunes and access everything except the store (which prevented any of my devices from being able to sync). I followed all of the suggestions that I could find in Apple Support and the suggestions that I was emailed from Apple's support techs. I unistalled all Apple software and reinstalled iTunes multiple times, and still could not access the store.
Your suggestion is the only "cure" that I have found.

It seems I can no longer share photos to Photo Stream on my iMac. It works just fine from my iPhone - I can see the photos appear in Photo Stream in iPhoto on my iMac, but no dice the other way around.
Any suggestions?

Log out of iCloud in the System/iCloud preference pane and disable Photo Stream in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane. Then log back in and re-enable, respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

I can no longer sync or download any content to my apple products through iTunes. The only way I am able to download music or apps to my iPod, iPhone, or iPad is by downloading from the iPod, iPhone, and iPad itself. Some songs I brought through my iPod haven't show up in my iTunes library. Majority of my library wont work on my iPod, but it works in my library. I can no longer download new playlist I came up with through my iTunes library. My frustration has gotten to a point where I am completely done with Apple products in general. I literally listen to music 24/7 and the fact that I can't listen to half my library or I have to carry around my MacBook to listen to my music is absolutely ridiculous. Come out with an update to fix this serious problem or someone tell me a sensible way to fix my problem. I have tried everything, but I need new ideas that I'm sure I haven't thought of!

HT4363 I can no longer stream my iTunes into my Apple TV. Help!

I can no longer stream my iTunes into my Apple TV. It has worked before, but Apple TV is not recognizing my iTunes library any longer. It keeps telling me to make sure it's turned on on my computer. It is. And yes, the accounts match, etc. But it no longer recognizes my iTunes library. I can play all the stuff purchased through iTunes fine. I just can stream my main library any longer. Very very frustrated.

I can no longer share my songs as e-mail attachments. The only sharing options I have are for Facebook, YouTube, Soundcloud, iTunes, and as Ringtone. What happened? I'm using the Garageband App 1.4(180.6) This happened once before, and by the time I'd gotten done submitting my question, the problem was fixed.

I powered my iPad off, and started it back up. Works fine now. huh.

Provided that you moved the ENTIRE itunes folder...
Quit iTunes from under the iTunes menu (by the apple), or hold CMD and press Q. Then, hold Option on your keyboard and click the itunes icon on your dock. Continue to hold Option and you'll see a popup where you can select "Choose Library". Navigate to, and select, the itunes folder at its new location.
If you didn't move the entire itunes library folder, you'll have to be specific about what you did.

Can no longer share Contacts through Entourage (OS 10.10)

After upgradiing an iMac to Yosemite, I've found that I can no longer share a Contacts vCard through Entourage. Hitting the share icon at the bottom of the entry allows me to send via e-mail, Message, AirDrop, etc., but the e-mail function no longer works. A mouse-click will open Entourage and place the cursor in the address pane of a new message window, but no vCard attaches to the e-mail. Never had this problem before. Sound familiar to anyone?

I think it's incorrect to make a blanket statement that it "will not work anymore."
Actually, Entourage worked fine with Mountain Lion and it has survived the transition to Yosemite pretty well. Every feature of the program works as intended, and Yosemite recognizes it as the default e-mail client. The problem is that Yosemite is inconsistent in how well it works with Entourage. I can mail URLs and Calendar events with one click, as before, but the "share" function misbehaves in Finder, iPhoto and Contacts. I'd prefer not to spend more money on Microsoft bloatware than I absolutely have to, which is why I'm looking for any obscure configuration setting I may have missed.

Can no longer share to iTunes. Any suggestions?
