Can no longer use SMS after update to IOS 8.2

what at happened with the update to SMS messages on the iPad?
I was able to use SMS as well as iMessage on my iPad until I updated it to 8.2. Now I cannot use SMS at all. In settings -messages, there is no longer a toggle for "send as SMS" on/off as there used to be and as there still is on my iPhone after the update. There is also no longer a toggle for "MMS" Messaging nor Group messaging.
As I said, my iPhone is fine after the update.

IN your iPhone go to settings-messages-text mmessage forwarding. Tap on that and tap on the green toggle to turn it off.
THen go go back out of setting and then go back in and repeat the steps again and turn that option to forward text messages back on.
you will then get a message to put in a code that appears on your iPad. Look at your iPad and the message will be there with the code that you need to put in your phone.
ENter er that code in your phone and it should work.
THe he only thing is that I don't remember if I turned my phone off and then back on after I turned the setting off and then back on again before I turned that text forward setting back to on. So if the above does not work then try turning your phone off and then back on in between.

Check your settings to make sure Siri is actually enabled. Sometimes I find that Siri will disable during the updating process. Oh, and it should be iOS 6.0 not 6.1. 6.1 doesn't exist...yet.

Turn off iCloud for Pages on your mobile device at Settings > Pages > Use iCloud > Off.
Open Pages on your computer and move any documents in iCloud to your desktop for safe keeping.
Navigate to system preferences > iCloud > Manage and check that Pages documents are not taking any space in the cloud, delete them if they are.
Enable iCloud syncing for Pages on your mobile device and launch the App.
If Pages now opens properly, start to add back documents from your desktop one at a time (or in small groups if you have many).

Same as you would do with any battery issue before you updated: restore the phone as NEW, not using backup at all.

There's no good way to do it. But you don't need to. iOS 7 automatically handles whether an application takes up memory or has files open. There's no real advantage to you ever closing an application yourself.
If you are having problems with a particular app, please describe them.

Problem using headphones after updating to iOS 7 for iPhone 4

I have updated (probably very stupidly) to iOS 7 and can no longer use the controllers on either set of headphones I have. One pair are expensive B&W P3's which I recently purchased and I also purchased another pair which were not as expensive but still cost my enough to get annoyed about.
Why have Apple prevented the use of non Apple controller headphones on their new update?
If no fix is forthcoming for this then this is the nail in the coffin as far as I am concerned with Apple, I am filing for divorce. Sumsung, Nokia or Sony, choices choices........

Tried restarting the phone, syncing the phone, resetting it from withing the phone, holding the buttons & then through itunes .. No use...
Issue happens across any pair of headphones including Apple's
Same happens in music app and 3rd party apps like spotify , tunein radio .
Can't use the buttons on the headphones to pick or answer call's as well .
I drive 4 - 6 hours a day and can't change songs on the go. Looks like this update screwed my phone .
The iphone 4s in my family is still on ios 6 and I don't plan on updating it . Tha's been my general advise to everyone I see and talk with a iphone , as this looks like a update related issue.

Interrupted by autofill while typing sms (after update to iOS 5.1)

I noticed a problem on iPhone 3GS after update to iOS 5.1
While writing an sms, the autofill interrups the writing with a small microbreak, causing loss of characters if you type fast enough.
Very annoying and causes alot of erasing and retypes.
Does not seem to be a problem on iPhone 4S though..
Anyone else having these problems?

Just a quick update on my issue... which seems different than most. To summarize, I tried updating from iTunes 10.6 directedly via USB. Got an empty progress bar when it "rebooted" after "successfully updating" to 5.1 with a memory allocation bar on itunes showing most the memory as allocated to "other", instead of the usual memory allocation to apps, music, pcits, etc. Rebooted the phone, but still came up with an empty progress bar, but would connect to itunes.. showing booted as 5.1, but again the memory was still allocated to "other". Started recovery process on itunes to try to bring back my old config, after which the iphone fully booted (into 5.1), but was completely.... recovered and re-installed all my apps, music, etc without a hitch and rebooted successfully, this time the memory allocation was correctly labeled, but somewhere I gained 2.0 GB of memory, even with all the same apps and music installed. I had to do some minor additional configurations (password lock had to be re-enabled), but otherwise, everything was working. A bunch of apps lost their stored settings... which I though strange as I expected the "backups" to store those settings as well. Otherwise, running 5.1 now without issues... seems much snappier than 5.0.1... but the process was nerve racking to say the least.
Best of luck with other "explorers" tyring to make the whole process work.

Can no longer browse network after updates

I finally got the Migration from SBS 2003 to Server 2012R2 standard finished but after updates I can no longer browse network from the server, it was working fine before the 52 updates went on.
I have checked computer browser is running, DNS is working, check FDRP is running.
Have Googled many articles regarding this and tried a lot of the solutions to no avail.

1. Please check if NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled.
2. Please temporarily disable Firewall and monitor the result.
3.

Please temporarily stop Computer Browser service and then re-start it. Any difference?
4. Please follow the path: Control Panel-> Network and Sharing Center-> Change advanced sharing settings, then check if turn on
Network discovery and File and printer sharing.

net view command and let me know the result? (Please hide all protected or private information.)

Can no longer sync iPad2 after updating to ios7

When I looked for upgrades for my apps there was the ios7, asking me if I wanted to upgrade and I wish I hadn't. I lost all email function on my ipad, and it erased all previous emails stored on there. I can no longer sync my iPad, since my computer is an older iMac with version 10.5.8 OSX and is not linked to iCloud so now I cannot backup NOR sync my iPad. I am very ******. Does anyone know how to dump ios7 off the ipad and go back to ios6? OR how to fix any of these problems without me buying a new iMac? I cannot upgrade my iMac to the latest OS, it's too old. Thanks for ANY help. ANYTHING would be appreciated.

When I navigate to the U310T (touch) on the support site, I'm not finding a BIOS update.
It may be that we have removed it. The U310 (non-touch) does still show BIOS 65 available here for Windows 8/8.1 and BIOS 21 on the same page for Windows 7.
Is it possible that you have a touch model and applied the non-touch BIOS?

Can´t charge my 3GS after update to iOS 5

After updating my iPhone to iOS 5 I can only charge it thru my MacBook Pro. So the USB-cable seems to work but when I use the adapter and trying to charge it thru wall outlet nothing happening. I thought my adapter was broken.
So I walked over to a friend and start testing wiht his cable and his iPhone. Charging his iPhone with my cable were no problem. Then I tried his cable and adapter to charge my iPhone.. nothing happens...
I have also tried to hard-reset my iPhone multiple times and I have restored it and update to iOS 5. Still my iPhone won´t charge thru a wall outlet.
My cable and adapter was the one you get when you bought your phone, so was my friends..
Anyone have a clue?

For how long have you been receiving this error message? The initial run on the iOS 5 update should be over and the activation server should be up and running right now. What does "can't easily send SMS" mean? What problems are you having with SMS? Without details, no one could possibly give you a reason or solutions.
Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

Siri no longer reading texts after updating to iOS 8

Ever since updating to IOS 8 Siri can no longer see or read my texts. This happens whether the phone is locked or unlocked. Prior to updating, I could simply ask Siri if she could read my new texts and she would comply. Occasionally she is able to read my texts when the phone is unlocked only, but most of the time, she just says "you have no new texts." I was hoping the issue would be fixed with 8.1 but to my dismay it is not. Currently using an iPhone 4S with IOS 8.1.

Im sry for my bad english, but i hope u can understand me request.
Its exactly the problem, where u find this thread.
I updated to ios 7.1 and at the next day i wanted to connect my iphone5 with my car-radio to play my favourite classic-music. I waited 5min. to find my radio on the iphone, but nothing. I searched for my laptop, it wasnt found. I cant found any bluetooth capable device on my iphone. But every device can find MY IPHONE. I found it from my laptop and can connect to it.
But there is a problem with my car-radio. My car radio has no a search-function, so i NEED to found my radio with my iphone to connect to it.
I resetted my iphone to factory settings and did NO backup, to have my iphone naked. But i cant find any devices too.
I have no idea what i can do know.
Does anyone have the same problem and does anyone know how to fix that bug?

I can't start my phone after updated to ios 8.0.2

I update to ios 8.0.02 last night but now my phone can't start, it just show a charge wire and the word iTunes on the screen. I have iphone 4s, can anyone help me to fix this?

i installed ios8, i cant get past the Log in to icloud stage, whenever i log in it restarts again, click forget my password it restarts again, ignore this step it restarts again. I tried to restore it but it says it cant be restarted becuase find my iphone is switched on.
