Can not Accept and save SERVICE ENTRY SHEET

Hi
I have maintained a simple Service master, maintained the conditions in ML33, created a PO.
I am doing a Service Entry Sheet, and trying to Accept and save. A popup comes, and if I see ERROR Log it says..
"Z1 001 Needed approval"
I donot have any entries related to Release strategy, like group...

Hi,
Your Service entry sheet total might have exceeded as per you client setup.
It sees that it require approval. You may not have authorization to save the service entry sheet which exceeds a certain total.
Also the log which you got ie Z1 001 describes that if any cash payments exceeds it should undergo approval.
Communicate with your seniors whether they have any setup like this. In that case they can only do this.
for more infomation Go to SE91 trxn code and Give msg class as Z1 and check the error message.
Please revert back if not solved.

Hi Amitava,
the behaviour could be due to the user exit EXIT_SAPLMLSR_001 (include ZXMLUU18). Please check if this exit is active in your system.

Can't able to create service entry sheet in ML81n

Hi Team,
one of our user is trying to create the service entry sheet in Ml81n while carrying out the service entry sheet it is asking for order number and an operation no usually it won't ask for the same,kindly can anyone help me for solution.

Mention what account assignment you are using in SES or in PO?
If it is PM order then you have to enter PM order.
If it is cost center then check GL A/c used in a/c assignment that GL must be having field status as order mandatory. Ask your accounts team to check this GL.

Error while Accepting the posed Service Entry Sheet

I created a PO for Services(not service based IV, only GR based IV only checked) , entered SES & at the time of Accepting the SES showing error is Purchasing Document Ordered quantity exceeded by 1 Activity Unit (Message no. M7022), but actually not exceeded & what is the difference between service based IV & PO based IV ?

In GR based IV, system allows to post invoice against material receipt against a PO. While for service based IV, system creates GR document based on accepted service entry sheet. Hence, for service PO, this tick (service based IV must be there).
You may delete the service entry sheet which you have created. The mark the tick at Service based IV & the again make service entry sheet. System should not give any error.

Can not accept terms of service

When I try to accept the tems of service in the email it just tells me verizon can not continue and then when I log into homecontrol i get We are sorry... We are unable to verify your Terms of Service
Please help I want to hook all this cool stuff up

OK, sorry to hear that, let's see if we can figure out what is going wrong.
When you click on the red Term of Service button in the Welcome to Home Monitoring and Control email, it opens the terms of service and you then check "I have read and agreed" at the bottom and click on access now to activate your hmc account it takes you to a setup wizard.
Can you try doing the above procedure again and let us know what happens when you do that. If you have already successfully accepted your tos it will usually open to essentialsandextras.verizon.com. From there you should be able to successfully access Home Monitoring under My Services at the top of the page.

Unable to save service entry sheet in ML81N

i have an issue: When saving the entry sheet in ML81N there is a popup that says u201CNo message record could be found for output of messageu201D.
why it has come. due to this popup message i could not create service entry sheet. if i want to remove the default printer in Entry sheet where i should do.

Version created but not set and still Service Entry posted.

In one case I found that PO price changed by user for a service PO,version created but user forget to set and saved the purchase order.Other user post service entry against same PO and while releasing by final approver it gave error message"Purchasing document xxxxx, Version X in process. message number MED014"....My question is how i can restrict to post service entry in such case? In stead giveing error message while releasing the service entry i want to control it it in first stage only....

Hi Sachin,
Creating a SES is a kind of drafting and it does not have any Financial impact. However, when you accept the SES, system does posting followed by financial account updates. This is the reason why system prevents accepting SES but allowing SES creation.
So, unfortunately, this is the standard behaviour.

After the new 10.9.2 Maverick upgrade, my Photosmart C4480 3 in 1 printer can not scan and save the file to desktop or documents. You can only see the image in the print preview area. Does anyone know how to fix this or when a fix will be out?

After Aple support downloaded the new 10.9.2 Maverick upgrade on my MacBook Air, my Photosmart C4480 3 in 1 printer can not scan a document and load the file on to my desktop or document file. (You can see the doc image in the preview but it doesn't save it.) Does anyone know an Apple fix for this or when the fix will be out? After hours of trying reloading, and the usual fixes, etc. Apple told me to call HP, and HP told me they don't support Mac. It does not seem honorable of Apple to put out an upgrade and not tell people it will destroy their scanning ability, and that the only thing to do is to buy another printer/scanner.

ML81N Service entry sheet and material document

Hello,
Why SAP creates a material document "WE" and another document "Lerf" when you create a service entry sheet using the ML81N transaction?
I have seen too that if you don't set up the "No limit" flag in the purchase order then you can make a lot of entry sheet but SAP doesn't create the same number of material documents.
Therefore, it can be a scenario where you can have a document entry sheet but you don't have the corresponding material document.

The GR document is an official document. The system creates the material document automatically when you accept and save the entry sheet (ESSR-KZABN = X).
"Lerf" in the PO history is a service entry sheet, the material document is the same material document which MIGO would create.
Please check the EKBE and MSEG for the entries.
You can save for the same PO several entry sheets and the system automatically creates material documents for these entry sheets when you save and accept the entry sheets. It is not possible to save more than 1 material document for the same entry sheet.
But it is possible to release entry sheets collectively in ML85:
For example you created a PO with service quantity 20 and you can create as many entry sheets as the quantity from the PO service item (20) and the overdelivery tolerance this allows. All of these entry sheets will refer to the same PO item. In ML85 you can release all of these entry sheets in the same step in ML85 and the system will create a material document (just 1 material document) with as many items (BUZEI) as many different entry sheets you saved for your PO item...

1) How can i change the default unit of measure in service PO? where is this in customizing?
2) How can i turn off the message "No message record could

Is it a must to do MIRO against the service entry sheet? How does the the person who is performing the MIRO transaction knows the service entry sheet number?

Following are answers to some of your questions -
1) What do you mean by default unit measure? If this is the unit of Service, then you may change this in Service Master (T Code AC03). If the unit is at line item, then it should be AU, because you may order multiple services under one line each having different units of measure.
2) The message "No message record could be found for output of message. Save anyway?" is displayed because, you have not maintained output message for service entry sheet. Either define the output or remove the warning message at Attributes of system messages.
3) The process of service PO is same as material PO. The difference is that the item category for service PO is 'D' & then you maitain services for the line item either with or without service master. After completion of service, you create service entry sheet at transaction code ML81N & after accepting the service entry sheet, service entry sheet based GRN is prepared. The person who is posting MIRO is not required to know Service Entry Sheet number to post MIRO. The system automatically checks the service entry sheets accepted. Anyway, the service entry sheet number can be displayed at Purchase Order History tab of the conccerned PO at PO display option (T Code ME23N).

ECS scenario - Service PO and Service Entry sheets in backend

We are on SRM_SERVER 550, SP07 and in the process of moving to ECS scenario.
There are some questions from me on the Service procurement in ECS.
1. When we create a PO with service item in SRM, will it get copied to backend as a Po with item category 'D'? This is how it happens in classic scenario,but does the same hold good in ECS?
2. When creating the confirmation for the service PO in SRM for ECS scenario, this would be a time entry/service entry sheet.
Would this be replicated to R/3 as a time entry sheet using RFC call?
Standard SRM210 guide mentions that goods confirmation will flow to backend as GR thro ALE/IDOCs and service confirmation will flow to backend as service entry sheets using RFC calls.
But I wanted a confirmation if this is entirely a standard SAP scenario or are there any restrictions on this?

1) What do you mean by default unit measure? If this is the unit of Service, then you may change this in Service Master (T Code AC03). If the unit is at line item, then it should be AU, because you may order multiple services under one line each having different units of measure.
2) The message "No message record could be found for output of message. Save anyway?" is displayed because, you have not maintained output message for service entry sheet. Either define the output or remove the warning message at Attributes of system messages.
3) The process of service PO is same as material PO. The difference is that the item category for service PO is 'D' & then you maitain services for the line item either with or without service master. After completion of service, you create service entry sheet at transaction code ML81N & after accepting the service entry sheet, service entry sheet based GRN is prepared. The person who is posting MIRO is not required to know Service Entry Sheet number to post MIRO. The system automatically checks the service entry sheets accepted. Anyway, the service entry sheet number can be displayed at Purchase Order History tab of the conccerned PO at PO display option (T Code ME23N).

Service entry sheet Number shown in PO history but does not exist

Dear Experts,
we use ZML81N : for creation of SES
& use ML81N : For Acceptance ( Release ) of SES
while creating PO , under services tab for a line item , the service has been entered for total Quantity 12 & units as "months"
User tried to create one service entry sheet against the line item with Quantity = 1 & unit = month , but it seems this SES got saved somehow without any line items inside it .
if we we try to open this SES with number shown in PO history , system says SES "Does not Exist"
In the PO history against the PO item in Item Details-PO history tab , one Service entry sheet is showing with "SEnt" in the
short text , but there is no row in PO history for the above with short text as "GRSR" , which also should have been created
automatically by the system . In the column "Amount in LC" , amount for the service is showing .
When a new SES for the same line item is attempted to be created , the system is showing available balance Quantity as "11" ,
that means system is considering the "1" quantity entered in the first SES as consumed .
Please advise how we can delete the first SES which we are not able to see , free-up the budget consumed by this SES &
restore the Balance Quantity shown in the new SES as again "12" as if no SES has been done against the PO line item.
I have tried to search the forum , but could not find solution.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
After checking it is found that there is no data in the tables ESLL, ESLH, etc. stored for the mentioned entry sheet, so SAP can not try to reconstruct the entry sheet based on that data.
Can you please tell from which tables the wrong FI and CO postings (e.g., the referring accounts) must be cleared manually in order to solve the problem ? as we could not find the value of "LC amount mentioned against the Service entry sheet in PO history" in both the tables ESLL & ESLH.

Service entry sheet in accepted status without line item

Hi all,
Service entry sheet 927080 has acceptance indicator enabled. The revoke
of acceptance is not possible for this entry sheet. Service line item
is not available in this service entry sheet. Refered PO has the status
Services are delivered, waiting for invoice verification. While doing
invoice verification, Error appears No (suitable) item found for
purchase order.
Service entry sheet is having non-editable status since acceptance
indicator is enabled. The same cannot be revoked.
On going thru the header change document, user has deleted the line
item. Item change document is not available. It has change document
no. -
25 with time 16.16 and -
27 with time 16:15.
Kindly advice, how to do rectify the Service entry sheet with service
line item.

Cancelling Accepted Service Entry Sheet

Hi experts,
Service purchase order was created and service entry sheet was also accepted. After this user has also deleted this PO item. Now, how to cancel this accepted service entry sheet?

Hi
first remove the deletion flag from the PO line item, Now goto ML81N & enter the service entry sheet whcih needs to be cancelled, Click on Change &
Click on Entry sheet in the menu bar-.
Click on Status Revoke Acceptance. & save the Entry sheet
If you have relase strategy for the Entry sheet first cancel the relase using ML85 & then perform the Revoke acceptance in Ml81N
