Can not access my account

Hi!
I just uninstalled my Itunes because I had a problem with it. And now I can not logon to my account?!!! I am able to log on only to guest account. When I try to log on to my account, which is admin, it accepts the password and after that I see only blue desktop which I have never set it up before with no icons, folders, status bar, dock etc. The mice is moving but I can not even logout. Anybody any clue what is going on?

I tried it. Doesn't work. I went to Genius bar. They said the easiest way to solve my trouble is to create new admin account. They activated root account. In that way I was able to copy everything from my old account and transfer it to the new one. But I am still wondering why they couldn't help me with restoring my original account and why does it happened. I still keep the old account and Im able to reach my data there only through root account.
(btw, we're in NY. this summer I will see Galway first time)

    Not sure why you can't delete that account. If you have admin privileges, you should be able to. Sounds like you only removed the Home Folder for that account.
    You should highlight/select the account you want to remove and then click the minus button. Might need to unlock the padlock with your admin password.

    HAve you check if there is any changes in your password? Check it out as you/Claude might have updated it accidentally. Try going to appleid.com to check. If you can login there is no issue with your password. If not, you need to answer your security questions to get a temporary password as it might have been reset.

    I can sign in to iTunes with my apple ID no problem. However when I click account from the drop down menu (by my ID in the right hand corner of the iTunes screen) I get a sign in window in which my ID is filled in but it wants my password which I duly fill in . At this point the window just keeps coming back up for me to fill in. If I fill my password in wrongly I get red text telling me so.
    So basically I can't view my account details even though I'm clearly logged in. I'm increasingly worried because If I can't access my iTunes account data how do I know my credit card is not being used by someone else?
    I'm guessing it's a problem specific to my machine (MBP running up to date Lion) I'm wondering if it could be connected to the safari cookie problem that affects other issues with pop up windows as documented (and solved) here:

    Problem solved!
    I started to suspect that the problem was with my computer rather than the apple servers.
    Reparing disc permissions from Disc Utility seemed like an obvious thing to try but I thought I had done this without it working. However on OSX daily  I read..."In mac OSX Lion repairing permissions from the Disk Utility app doesn’t repair the users file permissions"! Hmm nice one Apple- reparing permissions does not repair permissions! It seems that you have to use disc utility from recovery mode.
    I then followed these instructions on OSX daily (dot com)
    Repairing a Mac Boot Disk with Disk Utility & OS X Lion
    Reboot the Mac and hold down Command+R  (To boot into recovery)
    Select “Recovery HD” at the boot menu
    At the Mac OS X Utilities screen, select “Disk Utility”
    Select the boot volume or partition from the left menu and click on the “Repair” tab
    Repair Disk is now possible, click on “Repair Disk” to repair the boot volume
    Now verify disk permissions and repair them
    This solved the problem for me

    I have been trying for past week to access my account been on live chat and have been cut off numerous occasions by telephone. I need to make a payment and it will not allow me to do this. It is extremely annoying that no one seems to be able to me and on the occasions i have got through to someone they advised my payment would be changed and every month past 6 months it has lead me to default! It is quite unfair that this keeps happening and then when i need help there is no one available to assist. Anyone assist me on sorting this issue?

    A while a go I lost access to one of my Skype accounts.
    When I search my email address in skype search that account appears to be associated with my email. But When I try to recover the password the account is not in the list of associated accounts with my email.
    More over I know that that account becomes online and offline regularly.

    The goal here is to boot your Mac to the so-called Recovery partition where you’ll have a chance to reset your user password.
    Here’s how:
    1/ Make sure your computer is completely shut down.
    2/ You’ll have to be quick next: Press the Mac’s power button. As soon as you either hear the loud chime, or see the display light up - usually after a second or 2 - on your keyboard press [cmd] + [r] Keep these keys on your keyboard pressed until you either see an Apple Logo with a loading bar or a spinning gear.
    After a few minutes, you’ll be presented with a Utilities screen. This is the Recovery partition. If this step is already giving you problems, try using a USB-keyboard. It doesn’t have to be an Apple-keyboard. If you have a Windows-tailored keyboard laying around, use the “Windows-flag” key in stead of the [cmd]-key and it should also work.
    3/ Find the menu called “utilities” in the top left corner of your computer’s display. It’s in between the menus “edit” and “window” Don’t be confused with the menu called “os x utilities” 
    Choose Terminal. A somewhat old-fashioned looking window will pop up, waiting for a text command from you. This is the Terminal.
    After the # type: resetpassword and press return. Note that there is no space between ‘reset’ and ‘password’ 
    What you’ll see next is an rectangular window that gives you the option to reset passwords. Click on “Macintosh HD” at the top. In the pull-down menu below that, choose your user's accountname. Now enter your new password below that, twice
    We’re ready to reboot your Mac now. Click on the Apple Menu and choose “startup disk” Choose to boot from “Macintosh HD” Please let us know if this solved your issue, or if the steps above did not work, or could not be performed for some reason.
