Can not activate Imessage & FaceTime

Since I update my iPad to ISO6 can not login to imessage and FaceTime , error message " user or password are incorrect".
I just update my IPad to 6.0.1 and can NOT  activite my imessage & FaceTime , I was able to use both application before ISO6, while they are working on my iPhone!!!
I have tried many things, rest setting, chane apple password ,.....etc but never help!
I hope someone could provide me a solution.

    Can you send SMS by using the mobile data network instead of Wi-Fi? I had the same problem setting up my 5s from a backup of my 4s. Only after I sent an SMS via mobile data network, somehow iMessage and FaceTime got activated a couple of minutes later without me doing anything else.
    I even changed my Apple ID password, because at one point I could not log into my account when iMessage asked for my account details.

    I'm not that familiar with how FaceTime works. I know how to set It up but I don't use it. I just know that you can't activate in the UAE. I believe that you can activate in any country that permits it's use. Whether you will need a new ID or not, I can't confirm.
    You can Google this and get all sorts of articles on workarounds. Apparently if you set up a VPN you can use it in the UAE. Here is one article that I found.

  • Can not use imessage/facetime on new iPhone 5 and can not get iPhone 4s and 5 to remember any wireless networks.

    Two weeks ago I got an iPhone 4s and an iPhone 5 from a local carrier in central and eastern Kentucky called Appalachian Wireless. We had our numbers ported with AT&T. My iPhone 4s can use imessage/facetime but my wife's iPhone 5 can not. It just says waiting for activation and after several hours it will then say activation unsuccessful please turn imessage/facetime off and back on to activate. When we got the iPhones my carrier said it could take 30 days to activate due to our numbers being ported. My 4s took less than 3 hours to activate imessage/facetime but my wife's 5 still hasn't activated. A few days ago we went back to our carrier to get a problem fixed with our regular text messaging and we informed of our problem with imessage/facetime and they told us the most it has taken to activate was 2 days. I know I can use an apple id/e-mail to use imessage/facetime but I want her number to show up. Also neither iPhone will remember our wireless network. Every time we leave our house and come back we have to go to settings and choose our network. Is there a way I can fix these problems and have her imessage/facetime activated and use her phone number and have our iPhones remember our wireless network?

    As these are user to user support forums, there will be no official response from Apple posted here. 
    Basic forum ettiquette is search before posting, so why post again if you've already searched?  Seems rather unintelligent.

    When I try yo activate my Apple id for face time or iMessage I can not do ir. It says that the Apple id is now in use, ADN that its imposible yo validate.

    Is it possible the you are mistakenly trying to create a new account using the existing ID?  That would result in the error you describe. 
    Tell us exacly what you are doing to activate your ID for facetime or iMessage.  What is the process?

  • I can not activate imessage on my new ipad 32 gb wifi

    I have not been able to activate imessage on my new ipad.  It's only wifi.  imessage is working fine on my iphone 4s.  I have tried turning it off and on but nothing, it also will not activate facetime.  The wifi at my house is running fine. I can use the new ipad to browse the web so it has no problem with the wifi.

    I also am having same issue with new Ipad got today!  Everything else works just fine! I also have just Wifi I assume it will take some days to figure this problem out?  Hope not??

    IIf the strange SMS are coming from known contacts, that's normal for iMessages that don't arrive and are converted to text.  Don't know why but it happens when my bf is overseas and his company phone can't access data - the iMessages he tries to send have a lot of symbols when they come as text but none when the finally arrive as iMessages.  Usually it's mostly lots of @@@@@@.
    if you didn't buy the phone new, the previous owner may still be linked to the phone and they are his/her messages you are getting.  I have seen a lot of posts about this on various forums and can't remember the fix but it's to do with iTunes and you may need to contact the previous owner. 
    if you did buy the phone new,check with the store that it wasn't used as a demo model.  They may be able to assist you setup your messages.  If not, you may need to search for solutions online or hopefully someone else who's had the exact issue may be able to help you here.  Good luck.
