Can not archive FI document

Hi All,
I found that during the archiving activity certain documents can not be archived. I tried several time but still these documents can not be archived.
I don't understand why, the error mention about open item, what is that?
I thought it was about the document retention period, but I don't know how to find the setting in SARA nor SARI.
Can anyone help me on this...please....

Hi Jin,
The open item meanings like "outstanding" in accounting terms. So open item of account payable refer (not always) to outstanding payable.
In SAP, all data related to open item, can not be archived. This is because the system assumes that the open item is not processed completely processed.
The retention period of decument is defined in each module. For FI document, it's somewhere in document setting.
If for example, your retention period is 720 days, and you want to archive a document which is already 1200 days but remains an open item, then you still can not archive it.

What upgrade are you trying to install? Your profile shows iOS 5.1.1, which is the current max iOS.

I have been working on a document in Pages 4.3 and now it tells me I can not open the document unless I upgrade to Pages 5.2. When I look up Pages 5.2 the App store says "installed" nor can I find a "purchase" or "install" button.

If you have already updated to Pages 5.2 on your Mac, you may be trying to open the file with a previous version of Pages. If this is the case, you have two versions of Pages on your Mac & are trying to open Pages 5 documents with Pages 4. Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there then right-click on the Dock icon & select Options > Keep in Dock.
Installing new versions of iWork has never replaced existing versions. This is nothing new. The only thing new is that the '09 apps are moved to an iWork '09 folder if they were purchased from the Mac App Store. If they were installed from disk they should already be in a separate folder in Applications.

It's very unlikely that the Pages program is corrupt. Corruption of the Pages preferences would be much more common & does not require reinstalling the program to fix. Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences, delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plist, empty the Trash & then restart Pages.

Flash can not parse this document. What's up with this?

I've never seen this one before. I'm using CS5
On windows 7
I'm developing a component. I have it in the Components panel.
But I update it alot, and copy the shim to the prototype file quite often.
Every now and then I get the error that the file cannot be opened.
In the output panel is says Flash can not parse this document.
I have lost access to one of my files.
If I save as CS4 it always loads.
So now I'm saving in both formats.
I don't understand what is happening.
Is this a bug? I've checked for updates.

Did you use any special character like & ^ $ etc... in any of the components field? Flash CS4 was more lenient with special character compare to Flash CS5. One way to fix CS5 files is to change .fla extension to .zip. Unzip the file, go through the DOMDocument.xml file or xml file inside LIBRARY folder and remove the special character. After that double click the fla file you see inside the zip folder and Resave this file in Flash.

Those pixel dimemsions have aspect ratios that are not the same as a 5 x7 print:
1360 x 1360 = 1.0
790 x 640 = 1.23
2048 x 1366 = 1.5
An 7 x 5 image = 1.4.
So you'll need to crop the images to 5 x 7 before printing. The first two images are a little light in the pixels to produce a high resolution 5 x 7 print.

I can not open pdf documents

If I want to open a pdf document I get the following error-message:
"Error during page elaboration. A problem occurred during reading this document (109)"
I have Adobe Reader V8. I removed the version 8 and installed version 7, but I still can not open the document.

I can not open .pdf documents unless I save them first. But sometimes I can't download the file first - I get an error message that says that my version of Adobe can't open a .pdf in a web browser...

You are not on Mountain Lion anymore, right? You are on Mavericks and have downloaded Pages 5 and then created docuemnts in it which can't be opened in Pages 09.
No, you don't have to buy a newer Pages but you have to be particular about which version you use.

Solution manager can not open pdf documents

What is the reason Solution manager (we have still 3.2) can not open pdf documents (under project documentation).

Solution Manager is the SERVER, it can't open PDF documents; most likely your PC can't open them.

Flash can not parse this document

I have just had a Flash CS5 file corrupt on me. It comes up with this error message: 'Flash can not parse this document'. This is the second time this has happened to one of my Flash CS5 files. My colleagues have had problems with their files too and we bought a bit of software called 'Sothink SWF decompiler'. This has been a useful way of getting Flash files back from swf's however this has not worked with my file today. It doesn't work perfectly with other files anyway as it looses all of the library names and layer names, a big problem with a complex file.
So my questions are
1. can you help me get my file back?
2. I don't recall having any problems with SC3 so what has happened in these later version to cause this dreadful problem? One of my colleaguse has had 40% of her files corrupt sinse using CS5.
3. Then can you tell me whether this problem, that has exsisted in Flash since CS4, will be fixed in CS6 as we will be upgrading when it becomes available?
4. When is Flash CS6 going to become available?

You're all very unlucky to get this problem. I don't know why you guys got the error when transitioning from Flash CS4 to CS5. My transition went perfectly fine, and the game I was developing went through perfectly clean.

P.S. By the way, that file that was mentioned "textLayout_1.0.0.595.swz", is created whenever you put in TLF text that is edited at runtime via ActionScript and use Runtime Shared Library (RSL) preloading. Did you leave all your text boxes be, or convert them all to TLF?
P.P.S.S. I was very lucky that I didn't lose my project when I transitioned, as my current game is actually due in around a week. Hoepfully none of your projects that you lost are due in a week.

I upgraded to windows 8.1 and now I can not retrieve my documents

I am using a HP pavilion. Was asked with a pop-up to go to microsoft app store to update windows 8 to 8.1. I did that and now can not retrieve my documents. The printer needed reloaded, too. I tryed reinstalling microsoft office, but didn't work.

Hi hainesblum, welcome to the HP Forums. The documents that you cannot retrieve after the upgrade to Windows 8.1, were they in your 'Documents' folder? It is possible that your 'Documents' folder has been moved to 'Documents' under the 'Skydrive' folder.
If that doesn't help, please let me know the model number of your computer.
