Can not boot Qosmio G30. Please help!!
Hi,
I have a Qosmio G30 and it was working fine till yesterday.
This morning when I tried to boot the computer, BIOS gave me the following message "Check system, and then press [F1] key"
I did so and it had some technical stuff about the computer stuff on the screen.
I did not want to change anything so I chose to exit without saving.
The system restarted and the same message appeared.
Can anyone suggest something please?!
Unplug the AC adapter, remove the battery, then press and hold the power button down for a minimum of 30 seconds. Now replace the battery and see if it boots. If not repeat the process but this time leave the battery out and only plug in the AC. If it still doesn't boot repeat the process again and this time replace the battery and plug the AC back in. If it still doesn't boot it's time to start checking the hardware. Remove the ram and try it with only one stick. You might need to try each one individually to see if either works. If that doesn't help remove the hard drive and see if it will post to the Toshiba screen. If that doesn't help you'll probably need to take it to a service center.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

If you want to solve your problems, unjailbreak. And don't do it again, because jailbreaking causes problems as you read about in that article. You can try Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

This is how I do it: With all the video & still's in the time line, I click on each (even if I have to use the command key and click on each file). When each file is active I go under SHARE- go to EXPORT MEDIA- I use the Apple Pro Res codec 4:2:2. If you do not click on each file in the time line it will not be exported out.

If you unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.

There is no solution other than having the device cleared by the former owner. I was backing up my ipods this weekend. After I was done backing them all up I noticed that there was a circular symbol with an exclamation mark inside near some of my songs. When I click on the songs it tells me that the original file can not be located. I press the locate button on the message that appears but I can not find the song. How do I find my music or restore the music to my library. Please help!
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

FILE CAN NOT BE FOUND! please help
I cannot play any of the songs in the itunes library or sync because the files can not be found. the files are on xternal drive. the itunes music folder location is set for the xternal drive. whenever i have to remove the drive from the laptop and then plug it back in, the files get lost itunes can't find them. any settings suggestions? any help for this problem

Thank youUninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
