Can not change and keep home page to customized setting
Im trying to set my home page to Comcast but it is not allowing me to keep it. It stays while my session is open but once it is closed it resets to the default home pages.
Firefox's default home page is simply about:home with appears blank in the address bar. Do you have multiple default home pages??

oh brother. if you are using Safari, it's under general preferences. If firefox, general, then startup. Do you have trouble getting on the Internet? Is that what you are asking? or do you just want your home page to be MSN?

I used your method to reset my 2 home pages. It's the first one I want to change - I inadvertently set it to www.google.ca/advanced search. I really want www.google.com, but it always reverts back to the.ca version.
Do you get the international Google.com website if you open google.com via the location bar?
Some sites like google automatically redirect you to a localized vrsion of the website, based on where your IP locates you.
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Can not load the Database Home page
I have installed the database on a XP sp2 computer. After the installation is complete I try to open the database home page using the short cut created by the installation program and I receive an error from in I.E. The page can not be displayed. I tried to connect using the Run SQL command line by typing "connect system/password (My system password create in the installation)" and I receive another set of errors:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not existHi,
did the installation complete without errors?
Check the logfiles for "ORA-" messages:
cd D:\Oracle\XE\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\config\log

What about the user accounts you used for the install?
Was the install user a local admin user on your machine?
What does the command net localgroup ORA_DBA say?
Is the user you are trying to connect to the XE db a member of this local group?

This happens with regular sites from bookmarks or from another webpage listing links.
Middle clicking opens new tabs for each click and in some loads the clicked link and in other tabs opens google (home page)Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br />

Can not build a template based page with customized page type.
I built a customized page type (with persepective attribute) and wanted to build pages with this type. If the new pages do not based on any template, it works fine. However, if I wanted to use a template, the page type was set back to "standard"!
Steps to reproduce it:
1. create a new page type - test page type.
2. create a new template = test template.
3. create a new page - test page.
3.1 choose the page type to be "test page type"
3.2 fill in the form including the new attribute info.
3.2 choose the page template to be 'test template"
3.3 click finish
4. click the properties of "test page", it shows that the page type is "standard" and the new attribute information is gone!
If in step 3.2, no template is chosen, the properties of the new page shows the page type is "test page type".
I tried to find a workaround.
1. create a page with "test page type".
2. covert the new page to template.
I got this error message:
Error while copying page. (WWC-44262)
(WWC-00000)
Looks like customized page type and template can not coexist. Is this a bug?How long should the upgrade take? And should it be attempted on a production (infrastructure on machine 1/middle-tier on machine 2) Windows 2000 architecture? Or should be wait for 9.0.4? Or ... should I ask this in a TAR? Thanks!

how can get back the settings icon home pages becouse it hide settings
Looks like a sudden error being thrown up on many ATV2 units. Yesterday, mine was fine and today I now only have 2 icons like so many other posters.
No amounts of restarts or restores, disconnecting and reconnecting power, restarting routers, re-logging in to iTunes has any effect at all. -
Procon Latte is not working and the home page is up for sale. Is it still viable?
It worked fine until last week. I have a password on the settings but nothing is working. Is it still a good add-on?
It worked, keeping out the bad words, I checked my settings but it stopped working. And the creator no longer has a web page.

Up to about a month ago, I never had any problems setting my Home Page to Using Current Pages. Then, all of a sudden, I am unable to make any changes to my Home Page no matter what I change the settings to. I work for the US Forest Service and I don't know if some program was loaded that prohibits any changes from being made. Any help would be most appreciated.

The first problem windows 7-8.1 got IP adress and connect he public HotSpot but cannot load login page or any other page. It does not work with it.

Under Windows 7, the possible range of spoofed addresses for wireless adapters that can be set is limited. To be used by Windows 7, a spoofed MAC address should have 0 as a least significant bit (unicast) and 1 as a second least significant
bit (locally administered) in the second nibble. Thus possible values for the second nibble are limited to 2, 6, A and E.
In other words
MAC address: “XY-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX” “X” can be anything hexadecimal. The hexadecimal “Y”, written in binary format, is Y: “kmnp”, where “p” is the least significant bit;
p=0 --> unicast;
p=1 --> multicast;
n=0 --> globally assigned MAC;
n=1 --> locally administered;
So, actually MAC can be changed to any combination in which p=0 and n=1;
“Y” can be 2, 6, A or E.
So the possible MAC addresses in Windows 7 for wireless adapters:

Running Windows XP service pack 3. Updated Firefox from 8.0 to 9.0. Now when Firefox opens "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded" is displayed in a window and no home page appears. What's wrong?
That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

The latest changes to the function to "Upload to FTP Host" has rendered this useless - no point using a program like Muse if I can not easily and automatically upload the work to the webserver! I use BlueHost webhosting that has a primary domain and I have several domains with that account (as sub-domains or folders on this server) - with past versions of Muse when uploading pages it simply opened an alert window to tell me (what I already know) that the website I was uploading does not point to the primary domain BUT NOW Muse tries to create a new separate folder in the root directory of the primary domain - completely ignoring the directory path I am giving it - useless! Why make these senseless changes to the program - and so often - very frustrating it is like amateur ware!.

There are some issues with the upload to ftp via Muse, which the engineering team is aware of and those will be fixed in a future build of Muse. At this point the work around would be to export the html from Muse and then upload via some third party ftp client like filezilla.
