Can not close web browser in N8

Hi all
I have a N8 with the latest pr1.1 FW. Since pr1.1 sometimes browser gets blocked and can not be closed with the task switcher. The only solution that I have is to restart the phone. Is someone experiencing this? Is there a fix?

Tap the minimize icon (two boxes) in the upper right corner of the Safari page. Then tap the tiny x in the thumbnail to close. You can also swipe the thumbnail to the left to close.

My Nokia N81 worked fine until today
I just connected it to PC Suite and made a synchronization - now I have folowing problem - I can not open web-browser any more.
When I go into menu and then try to open Icon web - screens becames blue (desctopimage) for a second and then I'm landing again in menu just as it was before click on icon
What can be the reason of this problem?
Similar happened also with N-Gage Icon. I've tried it with memory card and without it - the result is the same - I can not go into web-section of my Nokia

the synchronization. You should re-set your
internet settings. If the issue persists your
phone will need reformat.

I can not close firefox unless i click on "home" 1st. also it freezes when i try to print or edit bookmarks,ect... Anyone know how to fix?

This could be Security Zones problem as you are accessing your IView directly through URL.

Basic troubleshooting steps oultlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
You need to go through all steps in succession until your problem is solved. If going through ALL these steps fails to resolve your issue, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

Press Alt, Command and Esc keys, select the crashed app and force quit it. Then, open this app again.
If you didn't save this document, it's possible that you lost the changes you made unless you have OS X Lion or Mountain Lion and they saved your document automatically

What worked for me:
Go to Edit --> Preferences --> Content --> uncheck the "Enable Javascript" box
When I click on the link you posted above, I can close it. Prior to unchecking that box, I had to restart the computer to get it to close.

First of all, update Firefox to 3.6.17 via Help | Check For Updates.
There was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. These allow a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and the Firefox version you're running at the moment will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in v3.6.17 and beyond.
To uninstall the Yahoo Toolbar, go to Tools | Add-ons | Extensions. You should find it in there.
To revert to Google as your preferred search engine, please do the following.
* In the location bar, type '''about:config''' and hit Enter.
* In the filter at the top, type: '''keyword.URL'''
* Double click it and remove whatever's in there and replace it with http://www.google.com/search?q=
