Can not connect to adobe installer for creative cloud after purchase

I just purchased Photoshop, but it won't download. Browser window says "Photoshop is downloading....", but nothing's happening.

    I just got photoshop cc and lightroom but  when I open creative cloud and go to apps it says that I couldn't connect to the adobe servers.It asks me to check the firewall and my internet connection and I have done that but nothing happened.   • Can not connect to drive on airport extreme n after sleep

    When I put my MacBook to sleep without disconecting HD I can not connect to it. I get a server not available message. I have to reboot airport extreme. Any suggestion?

    There's at least three discussions on this. The problem is that when your computer goes to sleep, there is a possibility that your router will renew DHCP and your IP number will change. This causes the drive to disconnect in a bad way and it will not reconnect. The default setting on the router is only 4 hours so some people have tried setting the number really high to fix the problem however this is not totallly reliable.
    Reliable Fix:
    Assign static IP numbers for all computers that use the hard drive. You can either do this by going to the DHCP tab and entering MAC numbers for each machine under the "reserve IPs" option, or you can do it the old fashioned way by configuring each computer in network preferences with a static IP number.
    For my network, I am configuring this on the computers for non portable hardware and using the "reserve" option on the router for portables.
    If you use your air disc while away from home on a network where you do not have this sort of control over assigning IP numbers then don't let your computer sleep without first disconnecting the drive.

  • Adobe can not validate the serial number for Creative Suite 6 Design, what's going wrong?

    After purchasing and downloading en before installing the CS6 Design Standard package on my Apple (iMac), the serial number is requested.  After completing the SN (as sent), I get the following message: "We can not validate this serial CS6 Design Standard". What am I doing wrong?

    That entries are blocking the product to reach Adobe servers.
    Move your hosts file to desktop and open it from there.
    Then remove entries like " 127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com " ( There should not be any Adobe related entries )
    Once you have removed, close hosts window.
    The drag the file back to etc folder and replace it with original hosts file.. ( open hosts once again and confirm there are no adobe entries.
    Then try.

  • (Adobe Installer) Launching Creative Cloud Desktop taking too long

    This is my first post so I do not know if this is the right section to post this or not.
    I am installing Creative Cloud Student edition and the adobe installer has been stuck on "launching creative cloud desktop" for about 3-4 hours now, and I don't think it should take this long. I'm afraid if I restart the download, it will have to download again and take another 3-4 hours I just waited.
    Is it supposed to take this long, or is there something wrong and I should restart?

  • Premeire pro not in my apps list for creative cloud

    I want to use premier pro, but when I ever try to download it takes me to my creative cloud, thats fine but there is no option of premier pro in my creative cloud. Which was a bit strange. All other apps of Adobe are there but premier pro. Can you please suggest any solution for this.

  • Can't launch Adobe Illustrator in Creative Cloud after update

    I was able to successfully download Adobe Creative Cloud two days ago.  I then downloaded the Adobe Illustrator app and was able to launch and use the app.  Today when I logged in, it did not give me the option to launch the app.  It said “Updates Available”.  I clicked on that and downloaded the updates.  It now says ”Updated” .  It does not give me the option to launch the app.  I have tried clicking on “Updated”, but nothing happens.  I have tried logging out and logging back in again, and that did not work.  How can I launch the app? 

    The Launch link provided in the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) is a convenience link provided after the first install. Once you restart AAM the Launch link is gone.
    To launch the program on Windows find the application link in the Start Menu. On Mac OS X look inside the Applications > Adobe Illustrator CS6 folder for the Adobe Illustrator CS6 program.
