Can not connect to itunes when trying to purchase from app
Hello,
Everything was working fine, then i tryed to purchase gold for GoW game on my iphone and iPad but it say erroe connect connect to itunes. i have had it working for days and now for some unknown reason i can not purchase from this any more.
I attempet to buy a song to see if would work and i could buy a song but can not purhase from the game.
Anyone kow of any solutins, tried to contact apple support but have not heard back from them.

Make sure the iTunes app is closed (Double-tap the home button and then swipe up on the app preview window above the icon) and then go Settings >iTunes & App Store and then press on your Apple ID...logout.
Reset your device by holding down the home button and lock button (top of phone) for 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Once the phone comes back on, go back to the same location and log back in to the iTunes store. Now, try the app again.

When I try to make an in -app purchase while playing Game of War, i keep getting a message that I'm unable to connect to Itunes. How do I fix this problem?

i went on vacation and got wifi there....i came home last night and saw that i could not get any messages from my textnow or get on youtube or skype or facebook or anything that includes wifi....ive tried everything including turning it off, turning my wifi off, trying to join a new network, not using it for a day, everything!!! nothing will work for me!!! im wondering if it has to do with more than one devise on our wifi...we only have two ipod touches and a ps3....any advise?? i would appreciate it....THANKS!!!
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. I bought my son a 1st generation Ipod touch off of Ebay. We set it back to factory settings and downloaded the newest version of itunes. Whenever he tries to download any apps it says "can not connect to itunes" I have checked the wifi connection and that is working (he can get on safari) and we have the newest version of windows. He was so excited to finally get his first Ipod and now cant do anything with it...please help

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Whenever I buy something in game, it says that " can not connect to itunes store". Why???? I fill all my payment information in app Store, bt I couldnt buy any thing. Why???
Additonally, at this point I really want to talk to someone who cares about how a customer like I might feel in such a situation and when I call corporate would like to talk to someone who is interested in hearing my input as it really sucks to think I really don't feel like going to the store anymore and would rather just buy stuff on amazon or newegg these days instead;/ When I know how much i used to enjoy going into the store and getting friendly with kind staff who worked with me to get the best deal on the items I got--perhaps this was because it was at a more desperate time when Best Buys fate as a company was more precarious prior to price matching taking origin. Also, on an aside, would like to add that obviously there is always the one or two people who go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent expeirenece so I am not trying to make any sweeping generalizations here. In fact, I find the forum contributors to be among the most kind and helpful, but that might be because they don't have to deal with the now seemingly dreaded "pricematch" epidemic;D

I Got an iPad air 2 yesterday and had no problems downloading apps. The pad has been synced to my phone. Today I am unable to download apps on either devise Tried logging out of iTunes on both but now can not connect to iTunes and do not receive an error code.
Thank goodness it's not just me. I also have tried everything from previous forums and nothing works. I logged out and cannot log back in. Even changed password to no avail. How can we find out if this is an Apple problem.

First, try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Power cycle the router.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
